ATI Catalyst Install Manager and catalyst Control Center Help

I just run the Windows 7 Upgrade
advisor report and it said that I should uninstall the ATI Catalyst Install Manager and Catalyst Control Center then reinstall after upgrade..
Could someone direct me where I might t find these programs for Windows 7

You must not do this. Just continue upgrade installation.
On my Satellite I got the same message but I have simply continued with upgrade.
At the end everything went fine.

HP Printer Wizard opens AMD Catalyst Install Manager to install HP Photosmart Basic Drivers

I upgraded to Windows 8 and want to install HP print and scan drivers for my Photosmart 7515e. However when I try, the wizard always wants to open the Catalyst Install Manager and reinstall that software. I don't understand why that should happen or why there may be a connection between printer drivers and CCC. Does anyone have an idea or answer? Thanks in advance.

Catalyst install manager has stopped working

Hi,after getting Blue Screen my VGA driver for AMD has deleted by itself.And now i can't install it back because of error that comes out when i try to install it.Doesn't matter which driver,from HP web-page or officiall AMD page.I tried to uninstall the rest of AMD and install it again but it just errors errors and errors.I m including some screenshots that can be useful.The first one is the error,in english it s "Catalyst install manager has stopped working".The second one is Device menager,it says that Intel driver is installed but AMD isnt,and system works with Microsoft standart driver.The third one is the bluescreen detail information.Windows reinstallation didn't help :/ Could it be hardware issue?Thanks in advance.

Hey , Here is a document that shows you how to launch the Recover manager that might help. Turn on the power and press F11 to run recovery without starting Windows. It gives you the option to reinstall software or to recover the Notebook to factory settings. I think it is software related not hardware. Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices HDMI Cables, as these could cause some issues.Please let me know how this goes. Thanks.

Migration to 10.2: Target Schema managed by old Control Center/Runtime Rep

We are migrating from OWB10gR1 to R2 (10.2.0.4)
After loosing (!) the old 10.1 runtime repository "OWBRUN" we created a new Design Repository.
Then we wanted assign an old target schema named "TARGET" to the new one (with Security -> User -> New ...)
Unfortunately we receive the message:
User "TARGET" is managed by another control center: OWBRUN
How can we remove this connection between "OWBRUN" and "TARGET" ?
Otherwise we can not use this schema as a target, and therefore we can't deploy mappings to it.

I solved my problem using the 10gR2-Repository Assistant:
1. Installing a new Control Center with the name of the old one (OWBRUN exactly!).
2. Register the target schemas to this new CC (as before in 10gR1)
3. Unregister those targets from OWBRUN
4. Register the targets to the correct CC (OWBRUN1020)
(5. Deinstall CC OWBRUN)

User management and Access Control in HCM Cloud

Hello,
Information is scarce about User management and Access Control in Oracle Cloud generally. Today, I have two questions :
- How can I bridge HCM Cloud user store with my on-premise IDM or security repository in order to allow identty governance to flow to HCM Cloud service ?
The only information I got was that you can declare manually and by bulk import through files my users. This is not really interresting as I have an automatic IDM with workflows and identity control on provisioning and de-provisioning.
Is there a SPML or proprietary endpoint to do it automatically ? What are the prerequisites ? Do I have to implement OIM on my side ?
- Once my users are created, how can I do webSSO from my internal security repositories to the HCM Cloud service ?
I do not want to distribute new set of login / passwords to my users. Is it possible to do Identity Federation (SAML 2.0 or WS-Fed) with HCM Cloud service ? What are the prerequisites ? Do I have to implement OAM on my side ?
I accept all pieces of information you can give me on this topic to help me understand the funcitonalites, limits and options offered by Oracle Cloud and more precisely by HCM Cloud service.

OIDDAS has limited capability of access control and information hiding. Presently, the permissions and privileges can be set at a realm level, and fine grained access control / information hiding cannot be done.
At present, the only way to restrict view and access control is by appplying ACLs (which is not the safest bet).

Integration between Soluiotn Manager and HP Quality Center

I am currently configuring the integration between Solution Manager and HP Quality Center, and during the set up of communication user, I get the following error:
User hpqc_comm is not authorized to access projects
Message no. QC_INTEGRATION016
Diagnosis
You want to access projects in the Quality Center with the communication user hpqc_comm. This causes an error because the user either does not exist in the Quality Center or is not assigned to any project.
Procedure
Check whether the user hpqc_comm is in the Quality Center, and whether it is assigned to at least one project. Ask the Quality Center administrator to create the user and assign it to projects, if necessary.
You can use another user for the communication
Well, I have created that user in HPQC and assigned it to projects.

the error is in Solution Manager. I am defining the communication parameters in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN / <selected project> / edit / Connection to HP Quality Center. I choose the corresponding project in Quality Center, but when I validate the screen, I get the error I mentioned before, even though the communication user exists in HPQC and is assigned to that specific project.

11R2 How to change IP in OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION and Default Control Center

We are changing the IP of the OWB repository database server. Reviewing the locations tab, I found out the Default Control Center and OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION are set up with IPs, so I need to change the IPs by hostname in both of them. I think I cannot use the script OWB_HOME/rtp/sql/UpdateLocation.sql, then, how to do it?
I would appreciate if someone points at other issues I should check from OWB point of view.

Oleg, I have update the CONNECT_SPEC in table WB_RT_SERVICE_NODES with hostname(:port:service), then I stopped / started the Control Center. Locations of OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION and Default Control Center still show the IPs in designer. (The other target locations were configured with hostname)
Then I run the script UpdateLocation.sql for OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION, and it finished fine:

This sql script sets the host:port:service and version parameters for a
location in the OWB Client Repository. It must be run from user OWBSYS.
The connection type must be host:port:service and cannot be changed

So I updated my iphone 4 to ios 7 and the control center is always grey instead of being translucent and being blurry and seeing like the colors of whats behind it. Anyone have a solution?

It sounds like a new feature called Increase Contrast is turned on.
Increase text contrast on difficult backgrounds when possible. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on Increase Contrast.

Keep in mind that if your background is white or a light color, it will not appear to be translucent, and be more opaque.

Bootcamp - Catalyst Control Center - help me!

Hello, I've tried to install catalyst control center for windows 7 bootcamp, I can't seem to find the download for the actual program, I only find the drivers for it, I did find the program once, and installed it, but then I only had 2 different tabs in there, and there should be atleast 7+ with alot of options. I had close to none, in my install of the program, so I uninstalled the whole thing and now I can't seem to find it again.
I've installed the latest driver for the program now, but I cannot find the program...
And ofcourse I want to find out why I only had 2 tabs in there, when I should have had 7+
Please help me

Can't uninstall AMD Catalyst Install Manager

I'm trying to fully uninstall the drivers and Catalyst for my MSI R7870 series in hopes to reinstall and get the thing working correctly.
I run the uninstall manager through programs and features and get stopped with the following error message: "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\ATI\CIM\BIN64\InstallManagerApp.exe'." Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Anyone have any clue on how I can get this uninstaller to work correctly?

Msi z77a-g45 and msi control center error please replace ME version??

I am getting a error for some reason when i open MSI control center that tells me to Please Replace the ME version, i'm not sure why i'm getting this error out of the blue, is very strange, only thing i did was uninstall intel HD 4000 driver and reinstall it as i was getting a crash, i was using it as a extra monitor. but i don't think that had anything to do with this. I have not used control, center in a while thought i would open it up and now i get this Please replace ME version, i have uninstalled intel management engine and re d-loaded it and reinstalled it from my msi driver page, nothing works please help.

basically yes, unless your ME version is somehow corrupted,
or when bios was flashed your ME wasn't updated
if issue persist reflash the bios to the one that i linked you,
its still newest than 2.12 and will include proper ME update,
so you will know that issue isn't there after reflashing

other things that you can try before flashing:
install reinstall ME drivers from MSI web for your board:

you can try to load some of older windows restore point
assume if you haven't flashed anything and worked fine before

Problems with Cubase LE 6 and eLicenser Control Center

This isn't strictly an Apple problem, but I thought someone might be able to help me!
I use Cubase LE 6 for my singing, and have never had problems before with exporting my audio tracks to MP3s. Today, however, I went to export my recordings and a box popped up saying I had to go over to my eLicenser Control Center and validate my usage licenses as they had expired. So I did this, apparently successfully (as seen in the photo attached), but then nothing seemed to change. The licenses remained in red, still 'expired' (since the 1st April), and I still can't export my tracks.
Someone please help! I've done what was asked but now am completely stumped. Music software is not my forte! But it is extremely frustrating!

I just had this problem after installing Cubase on my retina mbp. The problem is the retinas higher native resolution that conflicts Cubase's inability to run the program at such a high resolution. To solve
If open, close Cubase
Go to Applications through Finder
Right click Cubase and select "Get Info"
Select the box "Open in Low Resolution"
Once you've done that, re-open Cubase. Although the interface is now a bit pixelated, Cubase should run fine now. If not, don't know what else to say, because it worked for me! Good luck.

Installing 10g and Grid control together on Windows Server 2003

Hi all,
I've been having some trouble installing both the Grid Control and Oracle 10g together on a Windows Server 2003 box.
Here's the steps I've followed (if im stepping away from the norm, please tell me.. i REALLY need to do this properly without any hacks.. right now im on a test box.. but soon enough I have to do it in a live production environment and I really need a clean install).
I had a copy of Oracle 9i installed - my databases are pretty small.. 1.5Gb at most and I have been advised to just do an export and import them back in later.. which is fine by me..
I uninstalled Oracle 9i, making sure to check all the environment variables were clear and the registry settings were gone.
I ran the grid control setup
Set Home name = Ora10gGC
Set home path = C:\Oracle\Ora10gGC
I selected Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Using a New database 10.1.3.0
I set my passwords, and then set the global database name as emrep (the default)
All the optional configuration assistants ran successfull
Once this was all done and the install was finished, I restarted the server
Then I inserted the Oracle 10g cd
I ran 10g setup
Click Advanced installation
Set home name = Ora10g
Set home path = C:\Oracle\Ora10g
I selected Enterprise edition
Selected General purpose database
I got the following message:
The ORACLE_HOME environment variable is current set. This will prevent proper use of Multiple Oracle Homes and since it is not required for any Oracle products to function, it will be unset in your environment.
I set the global database name on my starter database to STARTER, I selected Use Grid Control for Database Management and set my paths and passwords, then I clicked install.
The install worked up till it tried to create the starter database, then it failed with an ORA-12560 error.
I checked the environment variables and it seems that ORACLE_HOME wasn't unset after all. I deleted it from my environment variables and restarted the server, but I still get the ORA-12560 error when i try to create a new database.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to install these 2 products together properly.. Thanks!

Additionaly could you post the fragment from alert.log and listener.log files, so more diagnostic information can be provided on this issue.

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.
