ATP promises more than available

Hi,
my newest problem is the next one:
stock saldo is 1000 for a comment
there are 4 planned order requesting this component at the same day with the quantity 300
and moreover a production order some days later requesting still 300.
Availability checks says
1. depreq   confirmed 300
2. depreq   confirmed 300
3. depreq   confirmed 300
4. deprec   confirmed 100
ordres       confirmed 300    ==> availability -300
The problem of this is the fact tha collective conversion of planned order to production orders converts all those three confirmed planned orders.
Which setting in the scope or anywhere else in the customising would take into account the reservation made in advance?

Look at your settings for OPJK; business function 1. Ensure that you have not disabled availability checking, and that collective conversion is prevented if ATP is not successful.
If your OPJK settings are already like this, please display a CO09 for the component in question, that contain the existing four confirmed qtys for depreqs and the additional one confirmed qty for ordres.
When you display CO09, use Z1, since this is the ATP that will be executed during order conversion. If your ATP has been set to any type of cumulation (OVZ2), then also select "With rqmts quants".

The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

How to use an available field more than once to define an unique field?

At the table level in the console you can indicate various combinations of fields that must be unique either individually or in combination. However, you can assign an available field only once, individually or in combination. For our data model it is a functional requirement that any available field can be used in more than one combination to define an unique combination.
Example separate unique combinations:
combination of: postal code + house number
combination of: city + street + house number
We use "house number" twice.
Is it possible to do this in MDM and how?

Hi Heleen,
If you want to use Source field twice then you an option called Clone Field in MDM Import Manager.
Follow these steps:
Step1. In Import manager select the source table.
Step2. Right click on the required field and Select Clone Field house number in your case.

After research, i have also tried repairing disk permissions, but every time they do get repaired the 'repair' button still appears, i'm not sure if it's because it was unable to repair the initial problems or if it just keeps detecting new ones.

2 GBs is a minimum in which you can do many things, but not concurrently. Be very careful to not install third-party add-ons, limit the number of applications you choose to enter in Login Items, run as few applications concurrently as you demand.
I would consider adding more RAM to your computer. Your model supports 8 GBs, so I would install that.

That message is telling you that you do not have enough stgorage on the iPod to accomodate all the media you are trying to sync to the iPod.

Well, we can't as we don't know what you consider as "more than enough". The built is quite heavy (like it can be 800mb) then it needs to be extracted to be installed before everything unneeded gets deleted...

There is a box under the IOS 6 software update. The box says "download and Install" but I can't highlight the box to activate it. Under that there is a sentence that says "update requires at least 2.5 GB of available storage. I have 9.6 available.

For resolving your issue, you are able to do as the followings :
1.Close any SkyDrive related process
2.Open a command prompt (not PowerShell), and change to the directory where Microsoft Office 2013 is installed by typing the command below:
cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\
3.Then type “groove.exe /clean /all” to clear all SkyDrive Pro cache and settings, setting it back to default again

Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.

An app can need twice the quoted space just during the installation. That could be the problem. It's easy enough to offload some stuff for the insyallation then sync it back.

More than one ATP Server

Allright, here's the story.
We're running ECC6.0 on AIX, ABAP Stack only.
We are clustered using AIX's HACMP.
We have four LPARs (Logical Partitions, or machines)
Two are clustered and two are standalone supplemental application servers.
Among the two that are clustered, one node is running Oracle (not RAC) and replicated enqueue (ERS), and the other node is running Central Services Instance for ABAP (ASCS) and a primary applicative instance (formerly CI).
The two nodes are mutually redundant.
The CI is actually our ATP server.
If one of the nodes fails, obviously the a take-over occurs on the other node. However, not to overload the node that's taking over the other one, the ASCS instance is restarted but NOT the CI.
The ASCS being the enqueue and message server, the system can run perfectly without the "CI" running as long as at least one supplemental app. server is running.
BUT! This will NOT ensure that the ATP is redundant.
I'm thinking of adding a third instance on the "CI" HACMP node exclusively used for ATP. So on that CI node, there will be ASCS, CI and ATP. Three different instances.
HACMP would be configured to provide redundancy for ASCS and ATP and still not for CI. This would ensure that ATP is always there and respect the rule of not overloading the HACMP node that'll be taking over.
This raises many other questions, like: what work processes do I need for ATP? Can it be a dialog-only instance? Of course it will not placed in any logon-groups...

Aliases remain tied forever to the account which created them. They cannot be moved to another account, converted to a full account, nor reinstated after being deleted.
