ATT Blocked New IP

To Whom it Concerns, We have recenetly switched to a new ISP and the IP that is setup for our email is blocked by ATT.  It has been over 2 months and countless requests have been sent to ATT to unblock this IP.  We are on no known blacklists and just recenetly started using the IP.  All settings and PTR are correct and verified by multiple parties.  Please fix this.    Contact name: Brian SundermanPhone: 619-276-7880 Ext. 1178:00AM to 4:30 PM Pacificowa.oemmfg.com   216.40.227.100 Error:flph401.prodigy.net rejected your message to the following e-mail addresses:Marna Brown ([email protected])flph401.prodigy.net gave this error:

  • Ora-12528 all appropriate instances are blocking new connections

    hi,
i get an error 'ora-12528 all appropriate instances are blocking new connections'
i have changed shared_servers parameters. from there itself i get the error

With zero substantive information about your environment, it is impossible to know for sure.
But, if you've just set SHARED_SERVERS=0, for example, and your tnsnames.ora has a line in it that says (SERVER=SHARED), then your client is demanding the use of shared servers which don't exist. You can therefore expect the sort of error you're getting.
The fix is to remove the explicit demand for shared servers in the tnsnames.ora. Just remove the line (or, not quite such good practice, set it to DEDICATED).

  • TNS: listener: all appropriate instances are blocking new connections.

    Hello,
when I start up my freshly installed developerday VB appliance, and try to connect to the database, following the tutorial in "Hands-on lab" - "SQL developer", as well as with any other attempt, the connection would not establish. I always get a message ORA-12528: TNS: listener: all appropriate instances are blocking new connections.
I cannot find any Readme or Tutorial which explains this appearance.
Weird, that obviously nobody else runs into this problem, otherwise this forum would be full of it. But isn't the VB appliance byte-for-byte the same for anybody?
    Any ideas?

Hi Marco, thanks for replying. You can read the OS version from the lsnctl output. The OS of the host system of the Virtual Box is Windows7 64-bit. Hmm... "HOST=0.0.0.0" looks suspicious, doesn't it?

  • ORA-12528: TNS:listener: all appropriate instances are blocking new connections

I'm working with OBIEE 11.1.1.5, with Ora DB 11.2.
Suddenly, the OBIEE is not accessible.
The logs showed that the issue is DB connectivity.
When I try to enter directly to the DB via sqlplus I get the error:

I tried restarting server, DB, listener, but nothing helped.
I've Googled and saw that I need to unregister some old connections, which were not closed correctly, i.e. entering DB and delete some records,
but I cannot login to the sqlplus.
I failed login as sys, system, scott - on the same error.
How can I solve this issue?

Does anybody have an idea about why this error is comming.
Note that we are using oracle 10g in a RAC environment with 02 nodes.
    Thanks for your help.

I don't use SID in my tnsnames.ora, i use SERVICE_NAME and it's OK. May be someone who have configured iot's tnsnames made it wrong because there consultant installaing new application in our company and may be their tnsnames was wrong and causing that problem. Because in their application it always tries to connect in the database till connection will be established and may be it increase the database session number.
Isn't it and when session max number is reached may be database connection will hang.
Correct me if it is the case, we will have a look in their applivcation tnsnames configuration.
    Thanks

  • HtmlText a blocking new window

I've searched high and low for this and it's driving my
    crazy...
Does anyone know if links in flash htmlText fields are
handled differently (by browsers) than standards html links on a
    page?
In Firefox an htmlText link within flash is blocked by the
popup blocker, while the standard text link not in the flash is not
    blocked.
There's no javascript involved, just a standard html tag
<a> to open a new window.
I just want to make sure I'm not missing any tricks around
    this.
Thanks for any help you can lend.

I have try to catch this event in my main class (and not in
my ItemRenderer) and it doesn't work... I develop on Linux, maybe
the problem come from the flash player for Linux? I know that there
are some troubles with this player, in particular with text
    handling...
I tried to use TextArea as ItemRenderer in place of Text
component, and in this case, htmlText and <a> tag works!
Unfortunately, I have others troubles for dynamically resize (for
the height) the TextArea according to his content, in order to not
have scrollbar and to see all text.
Anybody have another suggestion or idea ?
    Thanks!

  • Something blocks new tcp connection (Leopard)

    Hi all,
I'm almost at a loss my issue..
I'm using Xserve as a file server on the internet, running proftpd(http://www.proftpd.org/) with MacOSX 10.5.6 server.
As of the proftpd with Tiger Server, everything worked well.
Building up a new server with Leopard Server and proftpd, something seems to get wrong..
From an ftp client, like Cyberduck, command line ftp, windows' one, every ftp clients resulted in the same, the data-connection will be blocked in a certain situation.
For example, from a command line ftp client,
    - First attempt:
login to the ftp server(Leopard with proftpd) and get the file list(issue "ls" command) on the active(PORT) mode.
    => success.
    - Second attempt:
Soon after the successful file-listing, from another ftp client, login to the same ftp server with a different account and get the file list on the active mode.
=> fail. client seemed to be stalled for about 10 seconds, then ftp connection got disconnected forcedly(from the server).
The above is always reproduced in my environment(from the internet, from the internal LAN, both).
On the passive(PASV) mode, nothing wrong happen.
Getting filelist is just for making a new ftp-data-connection, so it has to not be a filelist, but just uploading/downloading is the same.
The problem is in the active(PORT) mode.
The proftpd's log says "Failed binding to the IP address, port 20: Address already in use".
Of course I'm not runnig any daemons using port 20, and this issue will appear in both standalone ftp daemon mode and launchd(inetd) mode.
    More wierd is,
after waiting 30 seconds from the last successful filelist, the next filelisting(active mode) will success. And,
Using same account(ftp user) for the first and the second attempt above, it will success too.
Yes I had suspected built-in firewalls, I've had disabled all firewalls I can treat: ipfw -flush, kill emond, kill socketfilterfw, but nothing effected.(Of course, the firewall preferences at the Server Admin was already disabled)
Wierd more is the issue doesn't seems to be IP address related, but user-account related.
Guessing from these symptoms, I suspect something authenticating functions in Leopard.
Proftpd uses PAM for its authentication to OSX.
/var/log/system.log shows below at accepting clients:
    Mar 27 19:42:02 HOSTNAME org.proftpd.proftpd[94198]: launchproxy[94198]: /usr/local/sbin/proftpd: Connection from: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX on port: 51108
    and /var/log/secure.log shows:
Mar 27 19:42:03 HOSTNAME com.apple.SecurityServer[36]: checkpw() succeeded, creating credential for user USER_A
Mar 27 19:42:03 HOSTNAME com.apple.SecurityServer[36]: checkpw() succeeded, creating shared credential for user USER_A
Mar 27 19:42:03 HOSTNAME com.apple.SecurityServer[36]: Succeeded authorizing right system.login.tty by client /usr/local/sbin/proftpd for authorization created by /usr/local/sbin/proftpd.
Does something block access to the system resources for 30 seconds..?
Such a thing can be happen..?
I've asked proftpd's forum, but they couldn't reproduce the issues.
Sadly does this issue depend on only my environment?
#well, I'm ignoring the basic discussion about using Xserve as an ftp server and using proftpd.
    #They say it has complex circumstances for it..(^^;;
Very sorry for this long post with my poor English,
Any information, any suspicious possibilityies are appreciate.
    Help me please...
    Kind regards,
    kura

    etresoft,
thanks for the link. Seems to be very close to.
The problem seems to be proftpd-related, using the latest version of it, the problem looks like gone.
Sorry for wasting your time, and apologize for my lazy test.

  • Anyone using the MBA w/ATT's new 3G USB modem -- USBConnect 881?

    http://www.gearlive.com/news/article/q407-att-usbconnect-881-3g-usb/
Has anyone been using the USBConnect 881 for wireless 3G access? Does it fit correctly in the port?
    Thanks,
    david

The 881u fits in the port very well and works great. Just make sure you go to Sierra Wireless and get the latest driver so it works directly with Leopard instead of using the Sierra Watcher program.
I average about 1.4 mb down and 1.3 mb up in the Wilmington, DE / Philadelphia, PA region according to the Speakeasy speed test. Didn't try the speed test outside my home area, but it seems much faster than my Verizon EVDO when I've used it in Jersey City, Manhattan (Financial District & Midtown), Denver and Los Angeles (Woodland Hills). The difference is really noticeable if you are on a low floor or in the center of a building.

  • How to block new generation of pop ups and "pop ins."

There seems to have been a sea change in website design lately. In particular there appears to be a new generation of pop up windows that appear after a certain amount of time has elapsed or when one scrolls far enough down on the page. Many are designed to "pop in" from the sides; these ones usually slide into view almost as an animation.
I have pop up blocking enabled in FF and I have tried a couple of add-ons but I am not able to defeat these "features." Any advice is appreciated.

They are actively driving me off of some sites. I can't believe anyone would re-implement this "feature" after so many people opted out by using popup blockers in the past. Thanks for the info though. Cheers.
