Hi Arghadip,
You can create the transaction code as a shortcut and attach it to the mail. I dont have SMTP configured in my system. So i was not able to launch from outlook and check. But i checked it in my SOST and the shortcut works perfectly.

  • Mail won't highlight an attached link

I am posting this for my friend. He uses AOL email, on an imac running leopard. When he sends email with an attached link, such as a youtube video, the letters for the youtubevideo link are not highlighted as mine are from mac.com email, thusly causing me to copy the link, open Yahoo, and paste
the youtube link in the search window, rather than just click the link as he does with my email.
His email does this with all attached links, and we can't figure out why this is, as his imac is newer than mine.
Any help out there is appreciated, thanks............

    Hi,
Please clarify whether he is using his AOL account as just another account in the application Mail, or is using some access software provided by AOL? How does he copy the URL and put it in the email message?

  • I can't open the attachment to a mail. I must open it i FileApp. but it says that there no App installed that open this type of file. What can I do? I've got iPad 2, version 4.3.3 (8J2) My age: 69 and not so good at computers.

I can't open the attachment to a mail. When I'm trying to open it in FileApp, I get the answer: "FileApp doesn't recognise
this file type.Would you like to try to open in.....
         another App
         as text file
         cancel
When I open it it in another App I get the answer:"there are no application installed on your device that can open
    this type of file.
When  I open it as a text file, it's loading and loading.....forever?
    What shall I do?
PS I'm 70 and not good at computers

    Hello Mats in Sweden!
I'm from Austria, not so far away! The file that you've received seems to be a Windows Media File and you may need a special software for your iPad to be able to open it. I've found something HERE.
If you open this link on your iPad it should take you to the App Store, resp. open it. The price for this app is 1,59 €.

  • Open Attachment option in Mail opens incorrect invite in Calendar

My issue: if I double click or use the Open Attachment option in Mail for calendar invites, an invite from 2 years ago opens in Calendar for me to accept. If I use the Add to Calendar function, no problem & reads like it should do.
I upgraded to ML about 2-3 weeks ago and Mail was spectacularly painful with the merge from SL not working at all. Calendar seemed to be ok, however this usse has started to appear in the last 24 hours.
Ivites can be accepted no dram using the iPad or my wifes iPhone just seesm to beon the Mac that its a problem.
    Any thoughts/ideas/fixes would be great.
    Cheers.

  • How to send ALV list report as html attachment in a mail??

    Hi all,
I have an ALV report which I want to send as an HTML attachment in a mail to an external id. I know that spool can be converted to HTML attachment in a mail. But I don't want to have 2 programs - one for generating ALV and the other to send mail with the spool-converted of the first report as attachment. I want to send the mail in the same program itself. Is it possible? Helpful answers will be suitably rewarded.

    Hi Sandip,
In your ALV program after the alv output is build in the program do the following steps.
1). Export the list to memory
2). Import the list from mempry
3). Do a COmpress of the data
4). Send an email as an attachment using the normal FM.
Take a look at the following links which will explain how to do the above steps.
    http://www.geocities.com/mpioud/Z_EMAIL_ABAP_REPORT.html
    http://www.thespot4sap.com/Articles/SAP_Mail_SO_Object_Send.asp
    http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/reporting/email/attach_xls.htm
remember to change the doc type as 'HTM' in the FM to send email.

  • How to open a pdf attachment in imac mail

I am unable to open a PDF attachment in Mac Mail. There is not a PDF Icon in the email message. Is there a setting that should be checked?
I have a new iMac (less than a month old) with Mountain Lion.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is an actual PDF that is an attachment to an email. There is not a link to click on to open the attachment.
The attachment is a statement that I normally open, then print..
What I am seeing on the monitor is the heading portion of the email with the statement image, all on one page..It prints exactly as seen on the screen.
I have checked my Mail>Preferences>Viewing Tab."Display remote images in HTML" messages is checked..
    Thanks for the help.

  • How to create a pdf for the URL attached to an invoice and send it as an attachment in a mail

    HI,
I have requirement where i need to get the URL attached to an invoice, create the pdf and send as an attachement in a mail.
The URL attached to an invoice can be seen by following the path : VF03-> Billing document->system->Services for object ->Attachement list.
On searching through existing forums, i found that there is a table 'SRGBTBREL' which stores relationships of GOS object. On giving the invoice number in field 'INSTID_A', i could find an entry in this table.
To get the content, i used the class CL_FITV_GOS, method GET_CONTENT. To this method i passed following values:
IV_ATTA_ID = FOL21000000000521URL39000000000012 (The value if field INSTID_B from table SRGBTBREL)
    IV_OBJTP   = 'URL'
On execution, i get URL link but the content table is empty.
Could anybody provide some input on how i get the content? Or may be how i can create pdf from the URL link and attach it to mail as an attachment?
    Thanks,

    Hi Amit,
Solution provided by you is working when the link length is one line but it is not working for more than one line
Eg: say link is https://......80 [80 characters long]
I will give    <a href="https://...72            [in first line]
                     73..80">click here</a>         [in second line]
I will get the output as 73...80">click here
But i want only CLICK HERE in my output..
    Please suggest solution.
    Thanks,
    Kavya

  • Cannot attach with the attachment  button in mail. Can drag them in directly.  But they won't open.  or are corrupted

Cannot attach attachments via the attachment button in mail.
I can drag items into the draft but then they either wont open or are corrupted.
    Help!!!

At some point, Apple started doing this annoying stupid thing with certain app updates (among them QuickTime Player, and iTunes, and Mail) where if those apps do not reside in /Applications they will not be updated properly.
Correct. It has always been that way in OS X. Applications, particularly from Apple, belong in the Applications Folder, where update installers can find them and link to associated system files that may be updated as well without you realising it.

  • Workitem attachment missing in mail Outlook/Lotus

When an email is generated from a particular workflow. I get the following message in my
    outlook inbox
Subject :Please release purchase requisition 0013001141
Body : Work item in R/3 System: DEV
Please log on to the R/3 System and look in your inbox
Please execute the work item by opening the attachment
however the attachment(link) to the workitem is not present.
Please guide me as I am new to this.

Am I correct in thinking that your e-mail is the result of a SendMail step in a workflow?
If so, the standard solution doesn't have any support for attachments as far as I know. Attachments, e.g. to enter SAP Business Workplace or display the work item, is something that the work item notification report adds to the mail messages.
If your e-mail is the result of work item notification, make sure you have selected the attachment options if you are using RSWUWFML2, or that your customizing specifies inclusion of attachments if you are using the extended work item notification solution in more recent releases.

I want to have Mail list Received e-mails chronologically without attaching new e-mails received to older e-mails from the same recipient/with the same title.  Is there a Preferences setting or a toggle to set this?

    View menu.
    Uncheck "Organize by Conversation."

BTW: Mail is part of the bundled "System software" and is discussed in the community for your version of OS X:

Edit: I see someone has requested a transfer, and this conversation is now in the correct space.

  • How to attach files to mail

When I attach files to mails (.pdf, .jpg, .docx etc.), they arrive in Windows Outlook embedded. My mail settings are "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" and "Always Insert Attachments at End of Message".
I know how to open these attachments in Windows Outlook but my recipients do not. To suggest that they learn how to, as I have seen in some places, is arrogant. If I apply for a job by email and attach my resume with instructions on how to open it will reduce my chances of getting that job close to zero.
How can I attach files that will be received as files and can be opened by the MS Windows recipient with left mouse clicks?

Another way to send files to others is to use Dropbox.
In your email you don't attach the file, but rather include a link that you reciepeints then use to download the file.
I use this method for particularly large files, but it can be used for any file.

  • Workitem in attachment of outlook mail sending from mail step in workflow

    Hi  Expert,
Presently  i am sending  a mail to approver of PO to external ID to inform that he has received a workitem in SAP in Box please login into SAP system and Approve the PO....
But now requirment has changed .
They need  this workitem in attachment of the mail i am sending to approver. approver click on that attachment it automaticly direct to sap system to the transaction ME21N to approve PO.
Please guide to achive the new requirment..
    Deepanker Dwivedi

There are two ways of doing this stuff...if you are running on WAS 6.4 or above then use second one.
    First method:-
Schedule the program RSWUWFML2 as per your requirement. This will route the workitem links to the external mail id like outlook from user can log into sap and approve or reject the workitem. The SCOT should be configured to send and recieve external mails.
    Second Method:-
U can use extended notifications for approving the workiten from the outlook or any other extrenal mail id.
The basic configuration required is expalined in these two links

    ADD_ATTACHMENT Procedure
This procedure sends an outbound email message from an application as an attachment. To add multiple attachments to a single email, APEX_MAIL.ADD_ATTACHMENT can be called repeatedly for a single email message.
