Attachements in Private folders

Hello,
I'm using SO_OBJECT_INSERT fm to insert some messages to my
custom folder in Private folders in my Worklapce
Everything's working fine but I have no idea how can I write some attachement
with that message or latter to that message.
There is a field 'attachements' there...
Anybody know how to do that??
I will be grateful for help.

The category I refer to is not the BP role, but the categories contacts have in MS Outlook. Contacts in MS Outlook have a category. When contacts are replicated from CRM to MS Outook they have three categories instead just one. These categories are those I mentioned in my first post.
The question is if it is posible that contact in MS Outlook replicated from CRM could have just one category

Viewing document characteristics in Easy DMS public and private folders

We have classified our documents in SAP Document Management System. We are viewing the DIRs in Easy DMS. In the public and private folders, the classification characteristics columns can be added to the screen report, however the values for the characteristics do not appear in the columns. If we use the search function and view those same documents in the search screen, the characteristic values do appear. How can we get these values to appear in the public and private folder views? There does not seem to be an OSS notes which address this discrepancy. In advance, any assistance is most appreciated.

Hi Barry - As Daniel explained, sometimes system behaves if the Default box is not checked but I want you to check the EasyDMS version/patch you are using. Below is the screenshot of latest version/patch.
If you have old verison/patch, please implement the latest version/patch and check.

Enabling the Export function for a distribution list in 'Private folders'

Dears,
Could someone please guide to the appropriate authorization that would allow the 'Export...' function for a distribution list created in a folder under 'Private folders' - Transaction : SBWP
The option is dimmed, although the user used has the SAP_ALL profile.

if that's already set, don't use test scene.

Groupware contact categories in private folders

Hi,
We are replicating SAP CRM 2007 Contact persons to MS Outlook private folders.
Our contacts get replicated to private folders with these three categories:
- CRM_BP Natural Person (CRM Business Partners: Natural Person);
- sap_r Business Partner (General);
- sap_r Contact Person
If user sorts contacts using category criteria, they get confused, because it seems as if they where tripled.
We want contacts to be replicated to groupware with just one category.
I can't find the way, nor through IMG activities, neither by reading SAP documents.
Do you Know if it is possible to change this.

I can´t access my private folders.

Good morning.
I configured a file system repository manager.
In the KM Content, I can access the public folders but can´t my private folders.
I get the following error:
Item not found
/Homes_02/acastaneda
The item you are attempting to access is not available. Check that the name or link is correct. You might also check whether the associated repository is currently accessible.
other user can see his public and private folders.
How can I sover the problem?.

Hi Ticiano,
If this error is coming, then might be the name is not correct or that particular file is not stored in the correct path. I request you to check again for the name and the document path.
Also about the access for the users, you have to check whether that folders have your permissions or not.
For that you have to go to that particular folder in the KM content under Content Admin, and check the permissions of the folder under settings.
I hope your query will be resolved with this.

Cannot save files into folders or attach files in folders since installing Maverics

Since installing Mavericks, I have been having trouble saving files (notably, Mail attachments) into the folder I want and also opening files in folders.
What I see, when I try to save a file into a folder that is one of several inside another folder, is a list of the folder names, in an unfamiliar format, with the contents of each folder also shown. (Makes for VERY slow scrolling.)
I cannot select a folder into which to save as the file. (I can, usually, save it into the outer folder and then move it afterwards or save it onto the desktop or into the downloads folder and then move it.)
Also, when I attempt to attach a file to a Mail message, I again run into difficulties. Sometimes I cannot select a file in a folder. (It will let me select the whole folder.) Sometimes it is ok if I move the file to the desktop first. Just now, with the screenshot above, I saved it onto the desktop but could not select it to upload it until I moved it into a folder.
What's up?
(BTW, so far, this is happening only on my min, not on my MacBook.)

Private folders on iPhone

I'm looking for a way to put Apps, such as Message, Facebook, and Instagram into a private folder. Last weekend, my son let his friend use his iPod to play a game. The friend went into Message app and sent offensive messages to friends. Can this be prevented? He has is iPod password protected, but it was unlocked for game. Is there a way to password protect individual apps?

That would be up to the app developer to include password protection or locked access. There is no way for your to add it yourself. For example, most password storage apps require a password as soon as you launch them, in order to actually get into the app and see content or use the app. But that is something done by the developer as part of their design of the app.
And you cannot lock folders either. Sorry, I do not know of any way to stop someone from doing that sort of thing if they have the device, passcode unlocked, physically in their hands.

Private folders

I'm brand new to Macs, and haven't had the time to do the one on one classes yet. I'm trying to figure out how to make a folder private. There are several people using the same account and I need to restrict access to one folder. I'd appreciate it if anyone explain to me how to do this, if indeed there is a way.

There is no way within the Mac OS to make a folder 'private' or password protected. The options are:
1) use Disk Utility to create an encrypted disk image, and place the folder in there (be sure to UNcheck the box to store the password in the keychain).
2) use 3rd party encryption software, such as Crypt3
3) use 3rd party software that can make folders invisible (free) or password protect them (shareware license), such as Hide Folders or Secret Folder.

Error while creating folder inside the Public & Private Folders

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to create a new folder under Public & Private folder. But system is giving the error as " Please enter complete document key. Rollback was unsuccessful; the document is not assigtned to the folder."
But system is creating the folder outside the Public & Private folder.Created folder is visible only in the serach result. I am not able to delete the folder also from the serach result.
Request your inputs on how can I solve this issue

Problem got solved. There is one more table DOST which is linked to DRAW & DRAT. We deleted the vales of DOST & tried. It is wokring now.

DFSR Private Folders deleted in error. Recreate or reset DFSR without having to resync 160 GB of Data

I have two servers that were using DFSR replication to sync 160 GB of data over a slow VPN connection. The VPN was down for several months because of ISP issues and is now up. I made the error when attempting to update the files manually between the sites
using xcopy of overwriting the DFSRPrivateFolders. When that happened I researched the issue and thought that deleting the existing DFSRPrivate Folders and restarting the service would fix the issue. I'm now getting the following error in the DFS Event Log
and replication is not working.
Event ID: 4004
The DFS Replication service stopped replication on the replicated folder at local path D:\Common\Document.

Error: 145 (The directory is not empty.)

Is there a way to repair the damage or reset the DFS Folders without having to replicate 160 GB of data again over a slow connection. I also want to make sure I don't overwrite newer files on either server with older files in error. There is not enough free
space on servers to make duplicate copies of all the data if I have to start from scratch.

Need sql query to find out Joins attached with folders in Discoverer

Can anyone let me know the sql query which can be used to identify the joins which are attached to the folders.
Actually we have to identify all the joins conditions from folders those are migrated from one instance to others.

File sharing using accounts: private shares on main TC drive only

Is there a way to use "accounts" file sharing mode and allow users to have private sections of USB drive(s)? When I attach USB drives in "accounts" mode, it creates a "shared" folder on the file system, and all files placed there by any users are read/writable by all other users. The only place a user can keep private files is on the onboard drive. This is not good! Any workaround? Did I miss a trick?

I've TC 1 TB, latest model (Early 2009 in Apple terms I suppose).
Can I have private folders in EXTERNAL USB drive for accounts?
I've created two user accounts via Airport Utility->Disks->Secure Shared Disks: With accounts.
User account 1 sees three kind of Sharepoints via Time Capsule's entry under Shared-category in Finder:
- external USB drive in whole (bad bad)
- entry for main level so internal disk inside TC
- dedicated account directory for this user account (let's say: account1) in TC's internal drive
User account 2 sees:
- external USB drive in whole (bad bad)
- entry for main level so internal disk inside TC
- dedicated account directory for this user account (let's say: account2) in TC's internal drive
If wanted scenario isn't possible in TC, how about Airport Extreme, can disks be controlled there separately?
Summa summarum: I'm trying to have poor man's fileserver in my home network. Target is to have common place for users' files (while maintaining privacy), so external USB drive for this purpose. TC's internal drive dedicated for Time Machine backups only.

EasyDMS - Private & Public folder creation - Error Message no. 1R579

I want you to validate my approach for creating Public and Private folders in DMS.
Create a document type FLD,assign number range as "internal or external number assignment",set internal and external number range.
Now when i login in easyDMS and try to create a Public and Private folder i get a error as follows
An error occurred when calling module SCMS_DOC_CREATE_FILES

Hi Vipin,
based on your mentioned error message it seems that you try to checkin some files in this folder document info record. Because the mentioned SCMS function module is mainly used when files are attached to document info records and stored in a content server.
Generally from EasyDMS design point of view the folder documents should not contain files. These document info records are
the header and the original files should be stored in separate document info records which are added to this folder.
Regarding the 'Public' and 'Private' folders I would like to inform you that normally the 'Public Folder' is created by EasyDMS and the document number of it should be 'EDIPUBLICROOTFOLDER'. The 'Private Folder' is created when an user logs on to EasyDMS for the first time. Then the system checks if there is already a private folder for this user and if not, the user is asked to create one. The number of the private folder is the userID.
