Attaching a file to an E-Mail you are replying to?...
Why has Apple still not added the feature to let you attach a file to an E-Mail you are replying to? Do you know how frustrating it is to have to go to the pic folder and send it thru there, copying and pasting peoples E-Mail address's who are not in your address book? This is a feature that any other phone has and has had for years, Apple get with it already! This is riduculous!
For photos, go to the camera roll and go to the sort of gallery view where you can see all of yorur pictures. Find the one you want and press and hold on the thumbnail. A little coppy button should appear above the photo. Tap that and then go back to your email and press and hold until you see a similar menu. Tap paste. Unfortunately, you have to do this one image at a time so it is tedious to email multiple photos in a reply. But it is possible.

When I want to attach a file to an e-mail I'm sending from my iCloud account it makes the file show up in the body of the e-mail instead of attaching it as a separate file the receiver can open. How can I change this?
It should be an attachment. Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message. A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment. -
Mii attach multiple files in one e-mail
Hello everyone
This is Yuko.
There are two MII may have a problem with email attachments.
1. Once you attach multiple files in one e-mail
Please tell me how this
2. Can not be above 1, and compiled into a single ZIP file.
Now, I can attach multiple files in one e-mail,
When you extract the ZIP, just made away with the file directory path is created,
you can not open the attachment and open the folder several times.
Anyone know a solution to this problem, please tell me.Kevin, Thanks for answers.
My English is poor. Sorry.
Your answer is, we assume that the permit issue, and probably would not matter. Again, write the points in need.
For example, the two CSV when put together in one ZIP file, the workbench in the CSV file to specify the full path. CSV file, the workbench under the Web folder and then five in the second tier. At this time, who received an email with this attachment is to open the attachments, ZIP and open the file, open the following folder hierarchy, the next ..., and, many times to open the folder , will finally open a CSV file. Many times without opening the folder you want to open a CSV file.
We look forward advice. -

Firefox crashes when trying to attach a file to an e-mail.
Foxfire crashes when attaching a file to an e-mail
'''eshbach''', Did you try updating the Trusteer Rapport software and did it fix the problem with Firefox crashing when downloading a file or saving a page?
'''mike_berry413''',
If you don't need the Trusteer Rapport software, you can remove it. If you need the software, you can try updating it or else temporarily disable it to see if that stops the crashes.
For the record, here is the crash report from the ReportID you posted:

After the recent update, my documents moved from Finder to Word. When I moved the folders to Finder, I am unable to attach a file to an e-mail. Any Suggestions?
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste (command-V) into the text box that opens, then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
Can't attach .jpg files to my e-mail messages
I have tried to attach .jpg files to my e-mail messages but nothing happens. I have no trouble attaching .doc files. I have never had this problem before buying this MacBook a few weeks ago, and I can't figure out what to do about it. Does anyone know how to rectify this? Thanks.
I have tried to attach it by clicking on "browse," finding the correct .jpg file and then clicking on "add." The .jpg never is added to the message. I never had trouble with adding .jpgs this way on my old iBook and I don't have trouble adding .jpgs on my G-5 at work. As I said, I can add .doc Word documents on the new MacBook, so I really don't understand what the problem is. The .jpgs files are about 1 MB in size, so it's not like I'm trying to add a gigantic file.

No option to attach word file or PDFs to mail servers
Hi
I have iPhone 4S and configured gmail account with it now I couldn't attach word file or PDFs to send. I could b able to attach images and videos files without issues
It's very urgent please suggest a solution ASAPThe only thiong you can access from within the native mail app is the Photos app (images and video). To send another type of file in an email, you need to start from the app you use to store or read the file, typically by tapping the action icon (box with an arrow) and selecting Mail.

Outlook 2010 - Two Mailboxes - How to force "From" value to match the mailbox you are replying from
Hi there,
The scenario:
Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010
Two mailboxes - the users personal mailbox and a shared mailbox.
Is there a way to configure Outlook 2010 so that if the user replies to an email that has been sent to the shared mailbox, the reply will automatically be sent from the shared-mailbox address and conversely
if the user replies to an email that has been sent to their personal address, the reply back will automatically be set to send from their personal address.
At the moment I have enabled the "From" field but this is not ideal as it is easy to forget to change the address if you are busy. Also, they seem to think this was possible in Outlook 2003 so I would be surprised if this was a deliberately
dropped feature from Outlook 2010.
Many thanks for your time,
TonyThis is by design
when you want to reply from shared mailbox you can use OWA
Open owa login with your credentials
https://mail.domain.com/
in the url above suffix the shared mailbox email address this will show you the OWA view of Shared mailbox
it will look like https://mail.domain.com/[email protected]

Urgent: Adobe Reader does not attach pdf-files to standard e-mail software any more!
Hello,
Situation:
Windows XP Pro; SP3
Office 97
Thunderbird
Adobe Acrobat Reader
When I want to attach a pdf-file directly from Adobe Reader to a new Thunderbird e-mail it starts ALL OF A SUDDEN the setup-assistant for Microsoft Exchange / Outlook! Why? I have no clue (:
It worked fine until 3 days ago.
Thunderbird is the standard e-mail software and it works for example fine if I click on an address in the internet. Thunderbird opens a new mail.
I tried to uninstall Adobe Reader and installed it again (restart computer / ccleaner) but this failure still occurs!
Does anybody know what to do please? It is really urgent because I need that function all the time... (:
By the way: I do not work with Outlook; it is not configured.
Thank you very much!> ALL OF A SUDDEN...
What happened between when it worked correctly 3 days ago, and the time it stopped working as expected?
Check Control Panel | Internet Options | tab Programs; to what is the E-mail option set?
If it is already correctly showing Thunderbird, then try a System Restore to a date when it still worked correctly. -
I have been working with ATT support and was raised to the third help level. I can send attachments with Gmail with your browser and I can send attachments with my wife's laptop with your browser. This has been going on for a month now. ATT support to help me be able to send my ATT e-mail with attachments. They say I need a different browser. I do not want change or leave Firefox. Can you help?
Richard Schroeder
[email protected]Is that uploading done via a regular Browse button like you see on this forum to add an attachment or is it done otherwise e.g. via a plugin like Flash or Java?
Did ATT support manage to do this with the current Firefox release?
You can try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
You can also try to reset Firefox:
Also make sure that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) isn't blocking uploads. -

Hi,
I receive SOAP from GRC and need send to Partner an email.
I have SOAP to MAIL scenario where an xml file is picked up and transformed and zipped into the target format in XI which has to be sent as an attachement in an email on the receiver side.
I am getting the mail with the attachement. But I would like to rename the attachment as the name "NFE.XML" and the ZIP File as the name "nfe.zip"
I am using MAIL adapter with Modules above.
Number Module Name Module Type Module Key
1 AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean Local Enterprise Bean Transform
2 AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean Local Enterprise Bean ContentType
3 AF_Modules/PayloadZipBean Local Enterprise Bean zip
4 sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.app/XIMailAdapterBean Local Enterprise Bean mail
Module Configuration :
Module Key Parameter Name Parameter Value
Transform swap.keyName payload-name
Transform swap.keyValue NFE
ContentType Transform.ContentType application/xml; name="NFe.xml"
zip zip.filenameKey ContentType
zip zip.mode zip
I am using transport protocol "XIPAYLOAD" and set "KEEP ATTACHMENTS"
I have with result example above :
Name from ZIP : PayloadName.zipu200E(4KB)u200E
Name from attachment : PayloadName
Regards,
RicardoHi Shobhit,
The module tab of your mail adapter will look like this.
Processing Sequence

localejbs/AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean rename LocalEnterpriseBean
sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.app/XIMailAdapterBean mail Local EnterpriseBean
Module Configuration
Module Key Parameter Name Parameter Value

rename Transform.ContentDescription attachement;filename="yourfilename.ext"
rename Transform.ContentType application/text;name="yourfilename.ext"
