Attaching a region or page to new tab

hi All,
we have added a new tab on sourcing page.
i.e. we have already four tabs available: Requisitions, Negotiations, Intelligence and Administrator.
now we have added new tab.
but we are getting null pointer exception when click on new tab.
can any one have idea how to resolve it ?

when i'm clicking on the new Tab Link, its giving the null pointer exception.
My page having simple messageTextInput no controller and any other model attached.
Once i'm able to see that field than only i can go ahead with controller or any other coding.
But i'm stuck at there only.
After doing the xmpimport, i hv restart both application as well as database server bt m getting same error.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Why can't I scroll or use MMB to open pages in new tab, when I have a PDF file opened in FF4?

If I have a PDF file opened in firefox 4, I am for unknow reason unable to open pages in new tabs with MMB or scroll thepage up or down. The scroll function isn't working at all, and it seems like I'd be scrolling the PDF file, not the page of my current tab.

-1712 is a timed out error. One reported cause (with other applications) is that the application is attempting to open a large number of files, or a file that no longer exists.
Try holding down the shift key when launching preview. This prevents the application from attempting to open windows that were not closed before quitting the application.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Opening pages in new tabs is slow and switches to the new tab and back. How can I stop this?

I work with a lot of tabs and most of the time, I need pages in new tabs to open fast. Recently, whenever I open a page in a new tab, Firefox goes to the new tab for a second, then back to the tab I was on previously, although I have it set to not automatically go to new tabs. Browsers display pages in new tab

My default browser is Chrome but I also use Firefox and Safari on my iMac. Since installation of Yosemite, I have a sporadic problem when the browser starts opening a link or displaying successive pages in a new tab rather than replacing the on-screen page with a new page within the same tab. The only way to stop that is to Quit the browser and relaunch. This occurs from time to time in all 3 of the web browsers I use.
I have gone into the preferences and, where possible, made sure the " open page in new tab" is not enabled. As far as I know, I have not made any changes that would have caused this phenomenon since installing OS X 10.10. Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.

Can I make the home page my new tab page?

The referenced link deals with a different matter; the user wanted a blank tab to open but was getting an arbitrary page opening instead.
In your case you might try one of the following Add-ons:

Firefox freezes when I load new pages into new tabs. This started a few weeks ago after I downloaded the latest update to firefox, currently running 7.0.1

After installing the latest update to Firefox a couple of weeks ago, loading new pages into new tabs takes a very very long time IF the page loads at all. I usually have to close the original tab to get the new tabs to load their pages. Sometimes I have to close all Firefox windows and start over to get the page I want to load.
This only started after downloading and installing this new update. I had no problem with new pages/tabs with previous versions.
I have rebooted, run full scans with Spyware Doctor, Malwarebytes and McAfee without solving the problem.

Thanks, but the problem I'm trying to solve is to get my home page to open automatically when I am already in Firefox and click on the new tab "+" sign to the right of my most recent tab. Does Contributor can create new pages or new tabs or templates?

I am very new to Oracle UCM. I want to know weather Contributor can able to create a new page?.
or can we dynamically add the tabs ?
if possible how? , i am seeing only the html editor window for contributors

I don't know what you mean by "add a new tab". If you're talking about adding new website sections (ie. folders) through the contributor interface to dynamically build the navigation, then the only way is to use the "site studio manager" fragment (w/out using Designer, of course). And then make sure your contributors can create and assign content to a region once they're in contributor mode.

Open new tab from any webpage, click any link on new tab, waits till the page is loaded and try to go back one page on new tab (arrow is disabled).

It happens whenever I open new tab from any wabpage. Once the tab is opened and initial webpage is loaded I may use any link to jump on another, second webpage in same tab. However, if I want to go back on initial webpage I can't do it cause that option (arrow) is disabled. I could use link on second webpage to jump on third, and only at that moment go back option becomes available again. However, I could not ever go back on initial webpage any more. As initial webpage has never existed.
It happens quite often (95%).

Right click the Back button and select the page you want to go back to from the list.
If the list is too long to display via the Back button, hit CTRL+H, change the view to "Last Visited" and then load it from there instead.
