Attaching files after signature

Good Day, All:
I have a form that is being submitted via email through a total of 5 people. So the 1st person signs and send to the second person who signs and sends to the next person and so on. The form is working fine but the problem is perhaps the 2nd or 3rd person needs to attach a file which is not possible after the 1st person signs. I have an "attach file" button which works great until someone signs after which it no longer works. Also, clicking the paperclip and using the add button doesn't work at that point either. The option is greyed out. Now it's important to state that the form is NOT LOCKED for editing at any point. Additional information can be added/updated. It's just the attach file function that is disabled. Is there a way to make this work?

Unable to view attached file after upgrade to yosamite

Ever since I upgraded my 2009 iMAC to Yosamite, most of the attached files in my mail box turned to characters. Images are not viewable.

Here is one of the attached files that changed to character. While only a few of the attached image files changed to characters, other attached files in the same email are fine. Usually, I would say roughly about 20% of the attached file changed to characters.

i designed process like below for my question and lca file( rename write_pdf.txt to write_pdf.lca ), too.
1. I want to attached files in pdf form like below.
2. when attached file in pdf form, if not pdf format, want to attach file after converting to pdf format.
3. Attched files must maintain in pdf form for process.

I updated latest firmware of My Nokia E71.
After updating Windows live mail doesnt run properly.
When I try to open attached files
After a few seconds , showing message "retriving attacment" . gives this error " Failed to fetch this attacchment,Please resyncronise your inbox"
Any solution??

Attaching a file after signing the form

Hi,
On my form there are two signatures. On signing the first signature field all the fieds above it get locked. Then i have the attchments sections and below it is the second signature field. But if i sign the first signature field the attachment(import data object) wont work.I know this is clearly tampering with the pdf after the form is signed. I handled the exception and it says " Not allowed error : Security settings prevent access to this property or method". But stil,l is there any workaround through which i can achieve this business requirement ? Please help !!!

I fell foul of this as well and I couldn't find a workaround. Once the form is signed the process of attaching a file appears to be considered too much of a change.
For one form we dropped the digital signatures and went with a less secure/robust method of indicating that a section was signed, just so that we could maintain the ability of attaching files throughout the form process.
I'm afraid it is either one or the other - digital signature or attach files.

How to delete files from an attached camera after downloading?

New to Aperture 2. I am sure to have a lot of exploring to do but for now I am looking for a way to delete files from an attached camera after downloading like you can with iPhoto. Is this possible?

While I might be a bit paranoid, I prefer to format in the camera after verifying that the import came out OK. It is a small price to pay to make sure that my images are actually on the computer. I don't do anything fancy, just make sure that the thumbnails come up correctly, and maybe perform an edit.
While it was not my images, thank goodness, I did get bit in a similar fashion. I use a "watch fob" style GPS unit for Geocoding. I have hoodahgeo configured to delete my tracks after import. Well, after one session I forgot to update my images with the gps information. As you can guess, when I re-opened HoodahGeo to try and re-geotag, the tracks were gone, so I was out of luck.

Why do old Adobe PDF files which I attach to a document show as Firefox documents in my files instead of an Adobe PDF file after an Adobe Reader update? My saved files Adobe PDF documents also appear as Firefox documents instead of Adobe PDF files.

NO MATTER WHAT VERSION OF WINDOWS YOU'RE USING:
Right click one of the PDFs with the Word icon.
Select "Properties"
Where it says "Opens With" there is a button to change it from Word to Adobe Reader, which should be in the list of available programs that pops up.
Choose Reader, and click APPLY before clicking OK.
That will change ALL PDFs to Reader as the default application.

Signature Scribble field not retaining image file after saving

I have 2 issues with my PDF dynamic file I sent out
1) The add/remove controls is adding a random amount of extra blank rows upon saving the PDF
2) The image files selected for the Signature Scribble field is not retaining the image file after saving. It also doesn't give an opportunity to actually draw in a signature.
I even tried to use the Subform Instance Controls Insert/Remove/Move in my table, but I keep receiving the error "You have reached the maximum number of items allowed"
I would appreciate any help you can give me! I have been farting around with this for too long.

Thanks Pat. Tried each, restarted computer each time; tried the "Accept" routine several days ago - it worked briefly and then stopped. Uninstalled Reader and Flash as well. Strange thing with Flash, one of my online broker programs provides streaming of CNBC. When I clicked on the CNBC option to initiate CNBC, I got a message saying that I needed to load Flash. I did, and it loaded again with no mention of Flash having already been installed.
Using Internet Explorer works, as well as, clicking on the .pdf file within Windows Explorer (WE). Expanding the window in WE makes it large enough to read. I would still like to find a way to open the files as they are designed to open.
I have done all of the Adobe updates as they have been presented. Microsoft updates load automatically, and restart my computer in the process. I do not look to see what the updates have been. I figure if there was not a need, Microsoft would not make the updates.

NPD - no chance to attach files for no signature requestees

Please see here below the following scenario:
ACTIVITY: RISK ASSESSMENT
ACTYVITY TYPE: DOCUMENT COLLABORATION IN PLACE EDITING
TEAM MEMBERS: they are not entered at activity template level but they are assigned at project level
OWNER in step 2: procurement, VAT Team
Signature request in step 2: procurement
No specific roles are assigned to these two users as they only need to edit activity steps where they are owners.
I create a project and this activity from activity template.
I move this activity forward STEP 2.
VAT Team logs in AGILE for Process.
He goes to RISK ASSESSMENT activity in step 2.
He clicks on EDIT Button.
it looks like he is only authorized to attach files as attachments.
He cannot enclose files with the in place editing functionality !!!!!
VAT TEAM is able to edit files with the in place functionality, but they need to be previously added into the system by procurement !
If I set VAT TEAM as signature request as well as procurement, he is able to upload files to edit with that functionality !!
What am I missing?
It looks unacceptable actually.
An user could not be necessarily a signature requestee to upload files withthe in place editing...
Please kindly advise.

Not able to attach file above 5MB after increasing attachment size to 10 MB

My environment,
Exchange 2007
Exchange 2010
Migration is in process.
Max Send size is set to 10 MB
Max Receive size is set to 10 MB.
Issue:-
After increasing my sending and receiving size, exchange 2010 users are unable to add attachment in outlook more than 5 MB.
Error:-
"The attachment size exceeds the allowable limit"
Same error is occuring in OWA.
Only Exchange 2007 users are able to attach file more than 5MB.

From your description, I would like to clarify the following thing:
There are some types of message size limits and several scope of limits. Please check the message size limits and attachment size limits in your organization, connector, server and user.

You can open Word files in Pages by default without any problem. Select one of the Word files by clicking once on it in Finder. Press cmd-i to Get Info on the file. In the bottom half of the window that opens, is Open with:. Below that click on the drop down box and select Pages.app. Then click on Change All... and confirm the "Are you sure... " warning. Now, all Word files will open in Pages.

Previously, after I moved an attached file to another folder, there still remain a link so that I can click and open the file; but now there is no more link.

Previously, when I got an email with an attached file, I can take out the file to different folders as I desire and then a filelink would take the place of the file in the email. In this way, when I opened email again, I can click the filelink and open the attached file in the folder to which I had moved.
Now, I find that there is no more such filelink after I take out the file. The attached file cannot be opened within the email now. Is the program changed or I miss anything?

did you install an add-on that did that? or are you thinking of another mail program like Eudora?

After upgrade I cannot attach files to emails in mobileme.

Safari 5.0 freezes after attaching files in Yahoo Mail

Since upgrading to Safari 5, I cannot use Yahoo mail after attaching a file to a message. The program acts like there is a dialog box open and it is waiting for a choice to be made, but there is no dialog box.

BrowserPlus is causing problems when attaching files to Yahoo mail. It's not compatible with Safari 5.

Not having a media card in your BlackBerry may affect your ability to transfer media files onto it. There is a file size limit of 2.86MB when transferring files into device memory. http://bbry.lv/9XNuy0
Have you verified that the applications you are trying to install are supported by your current wireless provider? Unlocked devices from one provider may not have full functionality on another network.
