Attaching photos to an Adobe Forms response

Good Morning:
Is it possible to attach a photo / photos along with responses to an Adobe Forms survey form? I would like to send a marketing survey to our physicians and have them attach a photo of themselves to the survey. Please advise, thanks.

What's abnormal about it? That's how you were always meant to do it.
The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves. If you're willing to risk database corruption, you can restore the older functionality simply by right clicking on the iPhoto Library and choosing 'Show Package Contents'. Then simply make an alias to the folders you require and put that alias on the desktop or where ever you want it. Be aware though, that this is a hack and not supported by Apple.
And, if you think it was not necessary then bear in mind that today on the v6 forum there are at least three people who have done this, and that's just this morning.

I added the attachments in the adobe form.But when ever i print this adobe form , i want to make sure that the attachments are also printed in addition to the original adobe form.
Is there any automatic way of doign it or any alternatives to avoid adding it as an attachment ,
i have a word document stored in the database.
so when ever i print my form need to print the document sthat are stored in the database also.

Attach files to the adobe form : offline

My requirement is to create an interactive form, that should have the ability to attach files offline. This means that the user of the form will have no access to the SAP system and should be able to attach supporting documents with the help of the adobe form itself, only.
How can this be done?
Is there any solution available to this or we still have to wait for forthcoming support packages?

In Web Dynpro for Java, this function will be available with SPS 10, on the ABAP side it will probably not be available before SPS 12.

Attachment mandatory in interactive adobe form

Hi,
As per our scenerio.....our requirement is to send iform to client and client fill this form and add a attachment inside the form
(this is mandatory) if he/she will not attach any attachment this iform do not have attachment client will not be able to send back to us.......
so
1. how we create field for attach browser for attachment or is there any other functionality or class we make sure that the client will attach their attachments.
2. how to make client mandatorily to attach attachment inside the PDF.
AS i am knew for adobe interactive form....plzz suggest me the easiest way..

Putting Adobe Forms (Response Files) Online

I have created an online application form. Though the location of my form resides on my computer (I also uploaded the form to a website). The response file is located on my home computer.
When people fill out the form and click submit, it only works if my computer is attached to the Internet which has frequent downtime, so I want to place the response file (I think that is what I have to do) on a website I have hosted that is always up 100% of the time.
Though I can edit the file location of the response file, it does not allow me to put in website information.
1. Is all I need to do is place the response file on my Internet Web Site to ensure that it will work 100% of the time and users won't get a message?
2. How do I do that?

My question doesn't quite fit under this category - but I cannot seem to submit a new questions. So here it goes....
I am creating three different forms for an upcoming international conference. I would like to include a submit button on the form. I would like this to result in the PDF file being sent to an online storage file (not Acrobat's site) such as Google sites.
When I edit the properties of the button there is a field labeled "Enter a URL for this link" and I am assuming that this is where I could set this up, but I've not been able to figure out how.
Alternatively, what is that field labeled "Enter a URL for this link" for anyhow?

Attachments in Adobe form for ISR in Employee Interaction center

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to attach a document to Adobe form which uses ISR scenario.
I am using the attachment option of PDF but the attachment is not going through.
I am using standard ISR scenarion SEIC.
Can anyone please let me know if there is any other method for attaching the doc. to Adobe form and send the Adobe form to agents inbox using Workflow.

Also i dont know Java script so can you please provide me any reference from where we can start the coding/ writing a Script to add the attachments.

Hyperlinks in Interactive ADOBE Forms

Dear experts,
I have a scenario of INTERACTIVE ADOBE FORM in ABAP WEBDYNPRO wherein Attachments have to be stored for a given form and these forms would be archived in a shared folder after a complete workflow lifecycle .
Initially, we implemented the handling of attachments using the 'ATTACHMENT' tab in the ADOBE form itself and storing these attachments as xStrings in GOS. This worked really well until recently where the attachment sizes increased from a few KB to many MBs . The form processing got extremely slow leading to unacceptable performance.
This called for the approach of using hyperlinks to attachments on a network folder to be added to the form by the users while data entry itself.
I am unaware as to how can we open a text field to accept hyperlinks which can then be stored ina backend table, so that they can be fetched and updated in the form at a later stage during the subsequent workflow steps?
Any inputs on this would be of gret help..
I searched the forum for queries but none were really helpful. Please help me out with this issue..

Hello experts,
I am using Livecycle designer version 8.0 and do not have the 'Launch URL' UI element. So I have to resort to using a text field and a button with a script to launch the URL. Something like
xfa.host.gotoURL(url.rawValue, true);
This works for a web URL but this is not opening any network shared folders. Is there any way to achieve this?
Secondly, I want it to open in a new window and not in the same browser window/tab that the form is in.
Any inputs on this would be really helpful.

First, have you set a breakpoint in this code and made sure that you are getting data into lt_image_bin? That would seem to be the first place to start.
Then the question is how are you trying to pass the image into the Adobe Form? Are you passing an XSTRING context attribute into the form interface? Have you marked that part of the interface as an image? Are you setting the MIME Type parameter of the form interface as well. You really haven't posted any details about what you are doing on the Adobe Form side.

Adobe Forms - How do I set up e-mail responses

I am an HTML web designer who has been frustrated by forms. So I purchased Adobe Forms. Extremely easy to create.
Here's what I don't understand: When someone responds, is it possible to have the e-mail response sent to the people I am creating the forms for?
I thought it would be sent to them if they were listed as a collaborator, but the e-mail notifications don't go to them.
What can I do?

Are form responses removed from Adobe server when deleted by user?

This is a server security question; when form responses are exported to excel, and then deleted from the workspace, do they remain on the Adobe server or are they gone? I need to know this to know the level of security that is applied to the server to determine if we can use Adobe with sensitive information. I understand forms are encrypted when responses are returned, but what happens to the information that is on the server?

PDF Attachment problem in Adobe form and send mail is not working

Dear Experts,
 Recently i'm facing a problem regarding Adobe form PDF attachment and sending an e-mail along with the PDF attachment to customer mail id.But when i execute the RFC Function module, in customer side no mail is comming. And when i check the transaction SBWP then i found that the PDF attachment hold only 1KB of data which is not right.For that i'm sending my code which i was declared in my program.Can anybody please help me to overcome this problem?

Adobe Form; Fields missing in form response file & .csv export

I created a form in Adobe Livecycle 8 and everything was working fine. Our company upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and now when I receive a form response via email, some of the data elements to not show up in the 'response file', therefore the data elements cannot be exported into excel. I am using 'compile returned forms' and following the wizard so I don't know what I'm missing. I am at a loss and am under a time crunch to get this fixed. Any help would be appreciated!

Adobe Form Error: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The request...

When trying to run an Adobe Form webdynpro app, I am receiving the following error:
Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"http://localhost:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document"
I have checked the ADS test at <server:port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config; the test did return the version number.
Does anyone have any other ideas of what I should check?
Also, why is it running a url with "localhost" in it? If this is running on the java was server, then I guess that could make sense. But if the url request is requesting something from localhost, isn't that my computer? I guess it depends on if this is a server request or a client request. I hope this is a server request.

First, I think config is okay. I can run the web service under my id okay.
Second, I am not sure what the impact is having the build done locally.
I am building and deploying locally in NWDS to my local portal. But then I am sending the EAR file to the system admin to deploy to my dev server (I am doing this because they will not give out the SDM password. And, I am waiting on the NWDI setup to be complete; when that is complete I will let NWDI deploy to the dev portal.)
Incidentally, I am receiving this error on the dev server, not my local portal. (I have tried running on my local portal, but I am getting a socket timeout error. But this is interesting, because I can run other webdynpro non-Adobe apps. I am not tracking down this error at this point because I am really just interested in the dev server. If I get past the 401 error on the dev server, and then get the socket timout issue...then I will worry about it.)
