    Yes.
Open a new email and touch and hold in the body of the email, when you release you should see "insert photo or video" select that then choose the desired photos.   Alternately you may go to your photos and select the photo(s) you wish to send and press the "share" button looks like a box with a arrow coming out of it.  Once you press share you can choose email.

When we attach photos to an email in the Apple Mail app, the photos appear tiny on gmail accounts. They are unable to download the file as the size sent. We have tested this in multiple gmail accounts and we have tried sending as different sizes and actual size with no difference. Other photos attached in other ways come through fine. This seems to be a a result of the recent iphotos to photos app update.
Please advise on if this is a bug with how mail is ending the photos or how gmail is receiving them.

Try using Mail as the email client for iPhoto and see if that will fix the problem:

I can not crop image for Facebook profile picture

Start in the Photos app and then select the photos that you want to attach to an email - in full screen view tap the icon at the top of the screen of the box with the arrow coming out of it and select Email Photo; in thumbnail view after tapping that same icon you can select up to 5 photos and then tap the Email button top left.
In terms of cropping photos the free Adobe Photoshop Express app allows cropping: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-photoshop-express/id331975235?mt=8
There are a number of facebook apps that you can use to upload photos to Facebook e.g. the 'official' facebook app : http://itunes.apple.com/in/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (it's optimised for the iPhone but you can upload photos via it), and Friendly For Facebook : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friendly-for-facebook/id400169658?mt=8

  • Can not attach photos using Yahoo email account

I am new to the Mac OPS and maybe it is just something that I do not know, but why can't I attach photos to an email using my Yahoo email account? I have read the way to change the preference of email providers, ie: entourage or mac mail. But I have neither accounts. I was just wondering if there was a way to do this, or if the program could be updated so that it could be possible.

Yahoo email is a service not an application. If you have the Pro version of this service then you can set it to work with one of the applications in the iPhoto preferences. Otherwise you'll need to use one of these:
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
For 10.5 users: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Apple-Click for selecting multiple pics.
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use iPhoto2GMail
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto. With 10.5 you can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
    Other options include:
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

  • How do I attach photo files to email message in iPhoto '11?

Apple says, "If you want recipients to be able to use the photos you send, rather than simply view them, you can attach the photo files to your email message. (BUT HOW?) Recipients can then download the photos from the email message and print them, use them in their own projects, and so on."
How do I attach these files when sending an email of photos using iPhoto? (I don't want to use AppleMail, I know how to do it in AppleMail) When I click to Share my photos via email in iPhoto, I do not see any option rbutton to add files to make the photos easily downloadable for the recipient.  Anyone know how to do this?  Thanks!

Not sure why you can't deselect the option, but I would guess that yes, the files are being attached.
Who are you sending to? iPhoto sends HTML emails and not every application on Windows or Mac knows how to deal with them, for instance, nor every user.

  • How can I open Microsoft doc attached to my iPad email

How can I open Microsoft doc attached to my iPad email

The document should open as an email attachment in the mail app. Did you tap on the icon in order to open the file?
However, if you want to save or edit the document, then you will need a Word compatible app on the iPad. pages, Documents To Go, quick Office Pro ... And others are available in the app store.
But you can open and read it right from the mail app as an attachment.

  • Attaching photos/graphics to emails

Every time I attach a photo/graphic in an email, the entire photo is covered in dark blue. Any ideas of what is happening? This is the first time this has happened in 3 yrs I've had MacBook.

As to the size, once you attach the file, select it, ande there is a menu button that allows you to set the size of the image.
As to overcoming the bugs in Outlook, you should try all of these things:
    Use Plain Text format.
    Check both options in Edit>Attachments>
         Always send windows friendly
Always insert attachments at end of message
Or, use Rich Text, and when you are formatting the message, select the text and set it to a font different from your Default reading font. Then, Attach the image. Set the size of the image as I mentioned above.
But, zipping it as CT mentioned will likely be easier. Where is the image located? In a folder in Finder or in iPhoto? To get a copy to zip out of iPhoto, select it and use the Export command in the file menu. Pick the resolution (file size) you want to send. Then, zip and attach that copy.
Every version of Outlook has bugs that affect how it handles emails, all of them different. It was designed as a corporate, enterprise email  system that only had to deal with itself. Actual internet email was hacked onto it and is handled extremely poorly.

  • Cant attach photos to email since i got iOS 8

I uploaded iOS 8 when it came out. Since then I have been unable to attach photo's to emails.

Same here also. IOS and all apps up to date. Gen 2 iPad. Will not attach photos in webmail for Hotmail, gmail or Yahoo mail.
Nothing. They all act like they are attaching the file but just sit and the status icon just spins, and spins, and spins.
Before IOS 8, there never was a problem....Makes me glad I'm using and Android phone.

  • Cannot attach photos to email in iOS 8.0

After upgrading to iOS 8.0, I can not attach photos to my emails.  This has never been a problem before the upgrade.

Which mail client are you using?
Can you mail directly from the Photos.app using the "Share" options?
Apps, that have not been updated to iOS 8 compatible versions cannot see all photos, only the photos in the "Recently added" album. As a work-around send photos directly from the Photos.app or add the photos to an album. Then other apps should be able to access the photos. There is also a bug with accessing photos by third-party apps that will be fixed in the next iOS8 update.

  • Attaching photos to emails

Mac's seem to attach photos within the message, as opposed to a file that you have to click to open. Most people I send photos to don't have a problem with this, but I have had some people get back to me and say this is a problem (See following)
"I can’t use the image the way it was sent through embedded in the email. Can you please resend it as an attached jpg or tif file?"
My dilemna here is: Is there another way of attaching photo's to emails, (I can't find any other way of doing it) or is it that the receiver needs educating on receiving attachments from Mac users? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are these fellow Mac users telling you this? Tell them to mouse down on the "Save" button in the header region of the email to open a small drop down menu of a list of file attachment names. Or, easier still, mouse down on the image in the message window and drag them to the desktop. Even if a Windows user, I would think that even Windows and Outlook are advanced enough to support a simple drag and drop operation. One other option would be to take your attachment, control-mouseDown, and choose "Archive <filename>", then attach the resultant zipfile to your email.
