Attaching pic tp contact and have it show up in upper right corner
Does anyone know how to get the picture to come up in the upper right corner instead of the whole screen. I know how to attach it to a contact but I cant figure out how to make it look like it does in the apple commercials. Even apple tech support couldnt tell me how.
If the photo is attached/edited to one of your contacts on your PC then that contact synced to the iPhone then the photo will show up as an icon in the corner
If the photo is attached/edited to the contact on your phone it will show up as full screen

Help! My Internet service was interupted last week and when it returned my iTunes and wireless devices no longer show up in upper right corner of the iTunes window. I finally figured out how to get both of my wireless devices to show up on the left hand column under devices, but nothing else shows up now in the upper right corner! I cannot for the life of me figure this one out and the tech manual is not helping at all. Help!
If you have the left-hand sidebar showing then that is where the store and your devices will show can be selected - if you press option-command-S if you are using a Mac, control-S on a PC, then the sidebar should be hidden and the store and device should go back to the top right. Is that what you mean ?

I have garage band on my I pad and from what I can tell I have done everything right with the latest updates and icloud enabled on the i pad and app. A cloud is in the upper right corner of the song but when I look on my icloud drive on a internet browser on my PC it is not there. Any reason why?

TV - I cannot figure out how to use the remote to change it!This is a function of your particular television. Its the "Picture in Picture" (PIP) . Every TV handles this a little differently. On your TV remote there is likely a pip button. Pressing that will get rid of the box at the top right. Once that is done, press the source/input button on the TV remote to cycle through the TV's inputs until you get the TV back on the screen. For more assistance with getting rid of the Picture in picture on the TV, you will want to consult your TV manual or the manufacturer.

After upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS6, my Find My Friends app no longer links to my Contacts and does not show contact names. It only shows e-mail addresses and does not link up to the corresponding email address in my Contacts. How can I fix this?
I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself. -
I need to play back a video-recording that I have taken myself and have it show the time counter in secs/minutes in the playback. Can anyone help?
the movie editing app "Avid Studio" displays a time counter, as does the Pinnacle editing app. Oddly enough, I movie does not. (unless I have it somehow turned off.)

Why does my caller I.D. photos show as a small thumbnail in the upper right corner and not full screen? I have used both photos I have synced and photos I have taken, yet others have full screen photo I.D.'s. I have looked onlime at several threads and there are no real answers as to what I need to do or am doing wrong.
I am also having this issue.
I've just spoken to someone in the Apple Support Centre who advised me that since the product is in beta, he is unable to assist. I wanted to find out whether someone was able to delete the data for me, or 'reset' the photos app somehow. This apparently cannot be done. He suggested I provide feedback via the feedback page, which I will do, but to be honest doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in the issue being fixed.
I also deactivated the service and waited the 30 days for the pictures to be deleted - this should have been completed in mid-January. Instead, my iCloud.com Photos page is now showing the photos that should have been deleted as grey squares, just as you described. I am also unable to delete these photos; every time I try, I get the same message about a server error.
I am also unable to disable the service by enabling and then disabling it on my iPhone. Each time I have tried this it hangs on uploading for several hours, with the progress bar not moving at all. When I disable it on my iPhone, the web app remains unchanged.
If anyone has had this issue and has managed to fix it, PLEASE share your wisdom. I am out of patience! -
I created an album and have been showing it presentation style, ken burns effects etc. Now every time I try to re-run it it starts from the end, last picture first! Can't seem to be able to reverse it. Any clue anyone?
First try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, reset iPhoto's preferences and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
Next, if necessary, continue with the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Paragraph styles dialogue is empty. I'm unable to load or create new styles and have them show up.
I've used paragraph styles in Indesign CS4 since 2009 and yesterday (6-10-14) I noticed the paragraph styles dialogue was empty. I figured somehow I must have accidentally deleted or cleared them. I then proceeded to attempt loading them from another document. After "Loading Paragraph Styles..." via the drop-down in the upper right corner of the dialogue box nothing showed up.
I then proceeded to create a new style it to never appeared in the list—it remains empty.
Any ideas?Delete InDesign’s preferences.

My volumes show a question mark(?) on upper right corner.
What is going on ?One other thought: does the question mark go away when you open a folder?
I am beginning to suspect that maybe just right-clicking the Finder window's toolbar and selecting "Customize Toolbar" and then seeing if you can drag the question mark off the tool bar, like there is some phantom item that the Finder can't resolve.
A puzzle. It definitely has something to do with the Finder toolbar, though. I'm pretty sure of that at this point.
EDIT: OK, I recreated the situation. You can drag an AppleScript to the toolbar so it will always be available. However, if that AppleScript file goes away, what's left is the dreaded question mark. The solution is to just drag the question mark off the toolbar while having the "Customize Toolbar" pane open as instructed above.
Well, I learn something new today, and it's only 52 minutes into the day. My work here is done.

A circled number appears in the upper right corner of the iCal icon on my Mac Book Air. What does it mean? How do I resolve it? Why doesn't it appear on my 4S iPhone via the iCloud?

That number means that you have an event invitation. Use iCal>View>Show Notifications to choose what to do with the notification. Since OS X 10.7.2 is required for iCloud integration, I am not surprised that there are anomalies between the iPhone and the MacBook Pro. -
I did the latest iTunes update...I have 2 iPhones--each thru a different provider. Now, I can't sync to download any music from iTunes. iTunes doesn't recognize either device now. I went thru diagnostics, didn't work. I tried the suggestions from Apple...it says to click the device button in upper right corner....there isn't one. When I connected each for the first time after update, it "installed device drivers". I have checked for further updates on iTunes--nothing. I made sure there were no updates listed for iPhones...all up to date. I get an error code and from what I have looked through in forums etc, it seems like a lot of people are getting it...0ex000084 I believe it was. Windows opens to download photos but that's it. Devices are not listed at all. I have tried all 3 USB ports in computer too. I have never had any problems before this update!! HELP! I just bought $15 worth of music I can't download to phones now!
On the left hand side of iTunes do you have the sidebar up left hand side?
If this is not up then try this, with iTunes open press "Control" and "s" together and it should bring it up. From the sidebar it should show an option devices with the iPhones underneath it. -
I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. I have a php module which runs fine in Firefox and all other browsers but not Safari. It always run twice - I see a small ? in upper right corner which is causing it to run twice but NO idea why? If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms. -

The warranty of an iPhone is only valid in the country where it has been bought. You'll have to bring it back to the USA to get it serviced, Apple does not accept international shipments. Any Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store outside the USA will not service your phone, sorry.
