Attaching text to a semicircle
I want to have one piece of text above and and one below a
circle. It looks as though I need to create two semicircles as
paths to create this effect but how do I create a semi circular
path, please?
Drag out a Vector Ellipse (hold down the shift key while
dragging for a
perfect circle), then cut it in half using the Vector Knife
tool (again,
hold down the shift key while cutting to keep the cut
perfectly horizontal).
You should be able to select either half and move them
independently now.

Oracle Primavera P6 Professional Attached Text Linked Directly to An Activity Delete Problem
Hi All,
We have a strange situation:
In one instance of Oracle Primavera P6 Professional (8) we have Attached Text which is Linked Directly (i.e. dependent) to an Activity. I am unsure how this was achieved, because in another instance of Oracle Primavera P6 Professional (8) we have Attached Text which is NOT Linked Directly (i.e. independent) to an Activity; i.e. the situation is not duplicated in all instances of Oracle Primavera P6 Professional (8). Both instances are standalone on separate PCs.
The problem is when we want to Delete attached text which no longer applies (e.g. last month it was valid, but this month, we no longer want to display the attached text); in the first instance, when we select the attached text and click on the DELETE key, we get a prompt to delete the "linked" activity! However we do NOT want to delete the activity, we only want to delete the attached text. In the second instance we have no such problem and we can deleted the attached text as desired.
For the first instance we have a workaround which is to double click the attached text and remove the text, so all that remains is a blank attached text "box", then saving the layout, but this is not ideal/desired; we want to delete the attached text.
Does anyone have any ideas?
What should we be looking at with regards to Settings/Options, etc.

Small clarification on Step **6) Oracle Home Directory, ...a) Resize the Root Partition**
Ubuntu 11.10 has Gparted available as a Ubuntu software download, DONT use that while trying the above step, instead download the ISO file from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gparted/files/gparted-live-stable/ gparted-live-0.12.0-5.iso (124.6 MB)
Burn that ISO file on a Blank DVD, reboot the Ubuntu , during startup select Boot from DVD Option if not already selected. this will take to Boot Menu Options of Gparted Live then select the first menu option, and this allows to do further action such as Re-sizing .
and once you have chosen and executed step a) . do NOT run step b) also that is "Setup External Storage"
I hope this minor clarification can avoid some confusion

I already learned that I can paste PDF file in an iWebsite. Problem is that this is indeed a 'paste' where the text fully appears on the screen. Does anybody know whether I can attach text files (like iWork, Word or PDF)?
You can use the Hyperlink inspector to create a link to any file which will download when clicked on.

Attaching text file using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1
hello guys, i'm a newbie here.
I'm having trouble attaching an existing text file using function 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'. It seems i can't find the right combination of parameters that are being passed to this function.
first, i'm using WS_UPLOAD to upload the text file to an internal table then i'm creating all the neccessary internal tables that will be use by this function..

PDF attachment, text disappearing once opened.
Hi Experts, I have been working on a smartform conversion to PDF email. I have inserted a gui download after the conversion process to check the pdf conversion. When opening the pdf that was downloaded, the pdf is perfect. However, once the pdf is emailed out of SAP to the microsoft exchange server and I open it in Outlook, only one block of text is present and if I scroll the page the text disappears. Has anyone encountered this problem and/or can someone help me fix it?

Attach text from SODIS into the email body
Hello Experts,
I am working on a requirement wherein I am sending the output of a smartform in PDF format via email to the users.Also , the disclosure from SODIS is also required to be attached as a body of the email.
Unfortunately , I was not able to do this task. The email functionality works correctly but the disclosure text is not getting attached in the body.
Can anyone guide me step by step for this ?

Once you have defined the text in SODIS, you have to select Settings icon from the tree menu. There are three options available:
Disclosures always appended
Application-driven
Inactive
Select "Disclosures always appended" and this will ensure that the email is always accompanied by the disclosures. Save. Execute SCOT and open Settings Folder. Double click on settings node and the settings screen will open on the right. In the tab Outbound Settings, in screen Main Document, check box to activate First body part must be text. Save. Send an email, it will now include email body.

Hi all,
I am trying to attach a text file (ASCII file) and send using mail.
I am not able to get proper data in attachement.Can anyone suggest me which type should i use
to get the data in proper format.
i was using RAW file. I found we dont have specific Text format.
Its possible for XLS format, i need only text file to be attached.

How to "attach" text window to "main" window of InDesign?
I'm running Mac 10.6.8 and CS4 on a Mac Pro early 2008, 8mb RAM, Quad Core, 30" screen. I open the InDesign application window and then an .indd window on which I enter my text. My problem is that, for many situations, I'd like to keep the "main" application window "attached" to the .indd window rather than having to move them each separately. This would be especially useful when I have many windows open for other applications, but only one .indd window open for InDesign. How do I do this?

BTW, I've not visited this forum for quite a while. It was difficult to find my way to the InDesign Discussions. Records Management - Email (Attachment & Text) - GroupWise
I have a requirement to store an email (its attachment and text) into UCM as a single instance. The text can't be copied/pasted into an index field upon import. The attachment and text should be merged together and committed as a PDF file (read only). Novell GroupWise is the email client. Can this requirement be satisfied by utilizing Records Managment? Could anyone provide a suggested approach to this requirement?

Let's start with the merging business. You state the email and the attachement must be merged together as a PDF. This is not covered in any way with out-of-the-box functionality. You'll need SOMETHING that sends the attachements to inbound refinery to convert them to PDF, then merge them together (as you'll support multiple attachements one one email right?) then you'll need to do some work on the PDF to add the original email text/graphics (some email is html based with embedded graphics right?).
THEN, you can finally put this all in UCM.
And the pdf must be indexable so you can search for the content in it.
This is a heavy duty customization. -

I must attach one table like file ".txt" at an email.
I use the call function "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" and I can send email with attachment the text file.
When I open this file, it is not properly aligned like I see it into table during program process.
If I change the file extension in ".doc", it's attached and is properly aligned.
Do you konw tell me if I must change some function parameter's settings?

I am having trouble attaching text to an email.
Whenever I try to open the the attachment icon it brings me to a page that says Attach, several times down the page, and at the end of each line it says Browse. I cannot get it to do anything to give me the box I used to have which was an icon for a paperclip. I even thought it might be open to an attachment photograph place, but I clicked off of that. I get nothing. I'm so frustrated, and would appreciate any help, as I'm on a deadline to submit something online. Thank you.

Under summary tab with device attached, text overlaps in window. How can I fix this?
After launching itunes and I attach iphone4 via usb I select my device under the library. I select the summary tab at top of window and the blocks of info and options overlap each other. I can't select any otions. Cant expand blocks either. Uninstalled and reinstalled itunes windows 64bit twice but it still does it. contacted Apple Care but they are clueless. Can anyone help?
I think that would have to be a setting in Chrome. That should control how new pages linked from other applications are treated.

How to download the attachment text to local file.

My requirement is at the time of workitem execution, Approver can write the attachment with the reason for Rejection.
Now, I need to down load that attachment content to local file and then that content needs to be updated in the PO Header changes.
I can able to get the attachment files' title, size and everything from the DB Table SOOD. But there is no Attachment's content is getting updated in that table.
Will you pls let me know how to download the content of the attachment to a local file from the sap.

By using the Function Module SAP_WAPI_GET_ATTACHMENTS, we can get the Object id of the attachment, but not the content of the Attachment.
But, my requirement is to get the content of the attachment.
