Attachment Handling

Hi,
While displaying attachment from Monitor Shopping cart, an empty page "ABOUT BLANK" opens.
I have seen that the docserver is activated in transaction SICF.
Just another, If I execute the report RSBBPKWCC I an able to view thw attached documents then what could be wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.

Whats the URL you can see when you click on the Attachement link?Is it the same as the one mainatined in the TCP/IP connection mainatined in SM59 for the Doc server?
Also if you are using Multiple clients on the same server then please maintain the ALIAS for each.

Attachment Handling in SAP CRM 7.0 EHP 3.0

Hello,
We are in the design phase of an SAP CRM 7.0 EhP3 implementation project. In the current landscape the legacy system for customer service (CS) management uses an external shared fileserver for storing attachments from the CS system. However we plan to decommission this external content server as it does not support good security features.
Storing attachments in SAP CRM via content management - can SAP CRM content management support large files? What is the maximum capacity per attachment and also the overall maximum capacity that SAP CRM content management can support.
We have "heard" that SAP does not recommend storing attachments within CRM, but rather in an external secure storage server. Is this true? Is yes, what would be the best approach to store and read attachments from SAP CRM?

Facebook and Twitter are officially integrated into SAP CRM 7.0 EHP 3. Not LinkedIn though.
You can use a custom solution in EHP2. Example is provided in SAPPress book SAP CRM: Techical Principles and Programming.

Mail Sender Adapter - Attachment Handling

Hello,
I 'm using XI 3.0 SP 14.
I have problems with my Mail-Sender-Adapter.
The mails, I fetch, have an xml-attachment which
represents an IDOC-structure (ORDERS.ORDERS05).
I want to sent this attachment as payload to an SAP-System.
The problem is now, that I have 2 Payloads (SXMB_MONI).
One for the normal email-body and one for my original
xml-attachment. See below:

Can I remove the email-body-attachment, so that
the further processing works with my xml-attachment?
Or how can I resolve my problem.

use the PayloadSwapBean module to get the attachment as main payload.

swap.keyName = payload-name
swap.keyValue = MailAttachment-1

SOAP Sender Adapter Attachment Handling in Response message

Hi Experts,
I have a SOAP <> XI <> Proxy scenario where an external WS client sends a SOAP request and receives a SOAP response along with an attachment.
The problem is that the WS client is unable to retrieve the attachment from the SOAP response although the SXI_MONITOR shows both the payload and attachment beign sent out. In the SOAP sender I 'DO NOT' tick the 'Keep Attachment' parameter.
If I tick the 'Keep Attachment' parameter, then the payload and attachment both goes as attachment.
I need help in writing an adapter module which would ensure that the payload remains as the main payload and only the additional attachment goes out as an attachment.

Seeburger Adapter - attachment handling

Hi,
we have a supplier who sends us the edi files over X.400 with more than one EDI-Attachment.
In the standard configuration of the X400P7-Adapter you can choose if you get the documents as MainDocument or as Attachment, but only one attachment.
How is it possible to configure classifier- and bic-module for working more than one attachment?
You can only set the attachment-name in destSourceMsg but is it possible to set more than one attachment there?
I hope somebody can help me.

My main problem is the question how I have to configure the modules?
How can I give the information to the BIC-module that it should work for every attachment and not only for the MainPayload or one attachment?
You can only set the attribute destSourceMessage and set the name of one attachment which should be worked on. But what have I to enter if there are more than one attachment and I don't know exactly how many?
How have I to configure the X400P7-Adapter for working all existing attachments of an X400-message? Or isn't that possible?

Hi Experts,
I have developed one process and forms for termination process in which i am using "SFREEATTM" as an attachment.
the process will flow like this.
1) HR Business Partner raise a Termination Form for an employee and submit the form which will route the form to HR Admin with the help of workflow.
2)HR Admin access the form and adds a text file attachment to the form and submits it to the manager.
3)Manager access his inbox and displays the form but HE IS NOT ABLE TO SEE THE ATTACHMENT MEANS ATTACHMENT IS NOT COMING HERE SOMEHOW MISSING .
Could you to please help me why the attachment is not coming to the manager though i already mention in my scenario step as DISPLAYED ONLY as an attachment attributes..

Please check the form scenario configuration, where the steps and attachments are configured. I think for the manager step, the attachment option is not configured.
As a result , the attachments are not visible at this stage.

Change IronPort attachment handling behavior

Is there a way to configure an IronPort 170 to automatically block any e-mail attachment which cannot be successfully scanned? For example, users are able to send password protected zip files though e-mail, and the IronPort’s default behavior seems to be to pass the files though, though they cannot be opened and scanned.

If you click on the AV stuff, it will take you to a page where you can change that...
Change the "Applied action" to what you want...

Writting attached file from SOAP message to a FTP folder

Hi everybody,
Our scenario is an interface which receives a SOAP message with a file attached. As we don't need to do any mapping into the attachment, we are supposed to deliver that file as it is into a FTP folder.
Our problem is that we cannot find how to configure File comm channel to write the attached file and no the SOAP XML message which is what we are getting now. Any help on this?

B2B attachment filename having space in UNIX server.

I am working on B2B for Rosettanet.
It also sends the attachment picked from UNIX server along with PIDX format payload.
If the file name in the UNIX server has a space, Rosettanet along with attachment errors out with
B2B-51570-
Machine Info: (hou-ecmsoatst01.swn.com)
Description: Attachment error
If the file name does not have any space, the attachment logic works file.

Can you try to escape space with %20 ? For e.g. if file path is file:///b2b file/OrderBill.pdf then provide it as file:///b2b%20file/OrderBill.pdf

Pdf Preview Handler Error outlook 2010 Server 2008

Pdf Preview Handler Error in outlook 2010 32.bit and Server 2008 64.bit. Using Adobe X. Registry app id correct. Turned on previewer in outlook in trust center. Repaired adobe installation. All to no avail. Any thoughts or fixes. Please Help

Hello i got nearly the same problem. Selecting the .pdf attachment in outlook. error code says that no preview can be showed, because the needed preview isn't installed.
Server 2012 R2 as Terminalserver, Outlook 2013, newest version of adobe reader XI.
I've already checked the following:
- outlook>options>trustcenter>trustcenter settings>attachment handling .. the box disable preview is clear .. furthermore outlook>options>trustcenter>trustcenter settings>attachment handling>attachment and documentpreview .. all
boxes including pdf preview handler are filled.
- adobe reader XI>edit>presettings?>e-mail-account ... outlook is standart.
- Registryentry: "Change the AppID value to {534A1E02-D58F-44f0-B58B-36CBED287C7C}"
- also i repaired the adobe installation and i reinstalled it a few times.
- even checked the access-rights on the temp. directorys outlook uses for attachments and the users have full access.
i have no more clue what it can be..
so may you have the solution for me or at least some tips.

Director Player Error : Handler not found in object

Hi,
I have made an exe to run a video in Director. This was done using old version of director, 8.5 supposedly.
When i try to run video through this exe, the video plays in background but i get the following error(snapshot attached):
"Handler not found in object
# openport
Script Error. Continue?"
I have installed shockwave player 8.5 and also put all the files from xtra folder to the folder where exe in lying but still i am getting the same error.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like something in one of the scripts in your project that is being called but is not working correctly for some reason.
Without seeing the code it's hard to tell what the problem may be. I'm wondering if there's one of the old-style line continuation characters that may be breaking the #openport handler somewhere in your scripts.

SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 pdf attachment sending thru mail ecc 6.0

I'm using ECC 6.0 version, I'm trying to attach a pdf file to a mail using the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. But gtting error as "wasn't decoded correctly", but the same coding is working fine in 4.6 version. What changes i should do while using this function module in ECC 6.0 to get it corrected.

PDF Preview handler error with outlook 2013 on RDS 2012R2

Anyone had any issues with outlook x64 2013 office and "PDF Preview handler", we are running adobe 11 with server 2012 R2. CHecked all the recommended reg settings are correct:
"Change the AppID value to {534A1E02-D58F-44f0-B58B-36CBED287C7C}"
However still prompted with "this file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer: PDF Preview handler"
Also causes a popup box to say an internal error has occurred.
Loads fine when you double click the attachement.

HANDLING UNIT IN STO TWO STEP PROCESS

Hi sap experts i have problem with handling unit so i need experts help.
The problems goes like this see i am doing Stock trasport order i have enter quantity and attached handling units and the PGI.And after that i am doing GR via Handling unit and i am posting stock.After that if i use HU system giving me error message that HU are in traasit and i can't use them.
For this SAP notes says we have to maintain output type SPED for shipping for delivery type and i did ,for this system creates inbound delivery here also i am facing problem that is process log it show that error during copy partner :partner role and message no is vl864.and its giving another errr message that is No inbound delivery is created for replishment delivery no.
So sap experts i need your help in this issue as this issue very high priority so i hope i get favourable response.Thanks alot
