Attachment is not seen in the approval process in HCM P&F - EIC

Hi All,
Issue..
1) Defined the attachment type in IMG.
2) Added the attachment type "SFREEATTM" by selecting other attributes---> Attachment Types.
3) Attached the excel file in the form design.
See the screen shot below:
The Issue is when testing through tcode nwbc in the inbox the attachment tab is not visible after selecting the particular form.

Did i miss any Configuration?? Please suggest...

The first dialogue attachment you are seeing is of the Design time window.....and
the second screenshot is after executing the form from the manager's inbox(where the attchment is missing)---> this is the issue.
Can you please let me know where exactly to check the switches *asr*??

Hi ,
I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
Details of the problem:
The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows WS10000060 Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
1.     Shopping created
2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
3.     Shopping cart is saved.
4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status awaiting approval
5.     The section approval shows No workflow started , application error occurred
6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
7.     The work item container does not show any agents
I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.

Hi Disha,
I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
What should I do.. , anything am I missing .

Buyer not appearing in the Approver LOV for a PO

Hi,
When submitting a Standard PO for Approval, my name(Buyer) was not visible in the Approver drop down list. It should have been there, and was there all last week. But today it was gone.
This happens intermittently and if I close all IE sessions and clear all cookies and temp files, it comes in the Approval list.
What could be the possible reason for this and permannent solution if any?
Quick help would be highly appreciated.

Ok I create my library in my other HNSC and upload a test document which I attach to the same Content Type as above .....

Is it possible to trigger the approval process programmatically?

When a user attempts to add a form the add-on can intercept this but is it possible to check in the code whether this particular Form (document) would pass the approval process or not. The add-on can keep an eye on the loading forms and it can spot the authorization form, but if the approval process does not start for the current Form it would be added and that's too late for the add-on to do its stuff.

Hi Svilen,
I don't think you can trigger the approval from within your add-on. However, you could check which approvals are active and retrieve the same query to run within your add-on. The results of running the query should tell you if the current document will pass the approval checks. I think there's a fair bit of work in getting this to work though :-\

   I'm running flexunit4.1.0-8 and I have an ant script running the test suite.    I recently upgraded from FB 4 to 4.5 and now I'm getting
failures on junitreports. Here's the full error:

To Activate the Approval Process when document is in update mode

Dear Expert,
I have applied the Approval Process for UDF using the query "Select Distinct 'True' From ORDR T0
Where IsNull($[ORDR.U_Rebate.number],0)>0 and $[ORDR.DocType]='I' ".
Now as the field is UDF user is able to modify even after approval procedure.
Please help me to apply the above query for the Approval process even when the document is in update mode.

Dear Pankaj,
Current B1 design only support approval for adding document. Update will not trigger approval.
You may use SP_TN instead to block user updating it. If you are not familiar with the SP, search the forum first.

SmallSearchInputBox not seen in the Migrated site from SP 2010 to SP 2013

We did the content database attach migration and didnt use any tool.
We reworked on the Master Page by taking the seattle.master page and put the custom placeholders.
The design came out well, but the SmallsearchInputbox is not seen in the "View All Site Content" and the Home Page.
Please help to fix this. Thanks in advance

What did you mean by “We reworked on the Master Page by taking the seattle.master page and put the custom placeholders”?
Did you set the seattle.master page as the default master page for the migrated site?
If yes, I recommend to set the master page to be v4.master and then do visual upgrade for the migrated sites.
After that, add the custom placeholders to the seattle.master page and then check the results.

BB Passport: After upgrading to 10.3.1, the USB key are not seen by the OS

After upgrading to 10.3.1 Any kind of USB key is not seen by the OS, even after restarting the operating system.
With original OS 10.3 could connect USB key to transfer my photos with file manager.
Any suggestions?

There a lot of issues being discovered by users doing the upgrade OTA or using Link. And they are varied. It's had to say whether your problem another of these issues or something else. Those I trust are recommending a clean OS install using an autoloader as so far there are not the same problems afterward.
You could try the autoloader route. Do a backup first. After the clean OS install, test before you do a restore and install app. If problem is gone, then you know the clean OS works. The next question will be if the problem returns when you restore or add apps.

1 . I have to remove 'ITEM' tab in the approval process overview screen which is apprearing in Portal. approval process overview screen will be appeared when 'Display / Edit Agents' Button in the Header level of the Shopping cart screen.
2 . Remove Approval Process overview tab in the detail screen of the shopping cart.

I know the webdynpro for this tab but to change this visible property do I need have access key( Core modification ) or any other way to do such as enhancement spot?

if you prefer not to see the contents of your attachments embedded in your email...
Open Terminal in Applications>Utilities and paste this in. Then hit return.
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing 1
To reverse the setting, change the 1 to a 0.

Decimals not seen in the query...

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with the query..
I have loaded a KF with 2 decimal places in the cube.
But when I run a query created on the cube, the digits after the decimal place are not seen in the query.
For e.g. the value of the KF in the cube is 9.85...but in the query, it is seen as 9
please let me know where do i need to make the changes.
FYI..the unit of the KF is %. Has this got anything to do with the problem ?
