Attachment jpg

Hi,  I used the SMPT Send File.vi to send an E-mail with an attachment which is a picture,  picture format is .JPG. But in the foxmail I can't open it. I want know the reason and how can I get the picture from E-mail.
Thanks in  advance.

Hi salin
Sorry about that. Here it is in version 7.1. It is not a lot of changes, though. I just added a true constant to the "binary?" input of SMTP Send File.vi.

  • No longer able to attach .jpg images in Mail...

    I'm having problems attaching .jpg images in Mail. This problem started two or three days ago. I can attach .zip files, but I'm unable to attach .pdf or .jpg files. I have not tried other formats, as these are the two most common formats used.
    Has anyone else experienced this issue?
    Cheers. -m

    There was a discussion posted on this a while back:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1545970&start=0&tstart=0
    I get this problem on my PPC, but not my Intel machine. Instead of using Server Admin, best to set this value (maxAttachmentSize) in the /etc/wikid/wikid.conf file. The value in Server Admin will still show '0', but I was still able to attach files up to the size I specified in the wikid.conf file.

  • Can't attach .jpg files to my e-mail messages

    I have tried to attach .jpg files to my e-mail messages but nothing happens. I have no trouble attaching .doc files. I have never had this problem before buying this MacBook a few weeks ago, and I can't figure out what to do about it. Does anyone know how to rectify this? Thanks.

    I have tried to attach it by clicking on "browse," finding the correct .jpg file and then clicking on "add." The .jpg never is added to the message. I never had trouble with adding .jpgs this way on my old iBook and I don't have trouble adding .jpgs on my G-5 at work. As I said, I can add .doc Word documents on the new MacBook, so I really don't understand what the problem is. The .jpgs files are about 1 MB in size, so it's not like I'm trying to add a gigantic file.

  • Attaching JPG files

    I've searched but I am not finding the answer. How do I send an attached JPG or other pic file without the image itself being embedded or visible in the body of the email? This should be easy, but I am embarrased to say I cannot find out how to do this. I do this all the time on my work PC.

    Jim,
    You need not be embarrassed. However, what you are concerned about, is a needless (useless) concern, if the JPEG (or other photo files) are being attached, by normal means. What appears as embedding to you, is not, but rather is only what is called View in Place, and only applies to how you see the message.
    Whether the recipients sees the photos with View in Place (or also called Inline View), is not under your control. It is totally under the control of the recipient's email program -- some, such as Thunderbird, have a preference as to whether to permit View Inline, but again this is not under the control of the Sender.
    For best result, place all attachments AFTER any text, and do no typing after they are attached. Also, for some Windows email clients, such as Outlook Express and Outlook, it is probably best to send using Plain Text and not Rich Text. With all attachments following text, this will mesh best with all types of email clients used by the recipients. In certain situation, RTF, together with mixed fonts and attachments, is converted to HTML, and the recipient may see the attachments as "embedded", whether they are in the strictest sense, or not. but this is limited only to certain email programs, as noted above.
    Ask any questions, or provide any additional info that may be useful.

  • Creating PDF in Outlook 2010 w/ JPG attachment - jpg does not attach

    Using Acrobat X Std. w/ Office 2010 standard.  Have an email message with a jpg file attachment, using the "convert to PDF" add-in, PDF gets created but there is no attachments.  This works will .doc, .xls, .pdf attachments but we are having no luck with .jpg file attachments.  Interestingly, i've had jpg files attach but it seems to be hit and miss.  Most jpg's will not attach.  I've got Acrobat Convert to PDF set to allow all attachments but still cannot get most jpg's to attach.  Anyone have any ideas?

    I found this exact same issue with Acrobat 9 & X and Outlook 2007 & 2010.
    The Workaround:  Drag/Save the message to your desktop and open it there.  Then perform the conversion.
    What I've Noticed:
    It only seems to occur with JPEG.
    It doesn't fail everytime, but if a particular message does fail the only way that has worked is the above workaround.
    Outlook: Changing message download options has no affect.
    Outlook: Changing mailbox caching has no affect.
    Acrobat & Outlook: Full repairs or clean installs don't help.
    Now the most odd piece to the puzzle... this only began AFTER we transitioned from in house Exchange to Microsoft BPOS.

  • Attaching jpg images in Mac Mail - sending to a PC

    I've been looking for some current information on this problem.  Most of the posts seem to be years old.  Is there a working solution to attach images to an email and allow a PC user to download them like a regular attachment?

    I am having the same problem with only a select few of clients. Sending pdf - fine, they arrive as attachments. Send a jpg and they are embedded within the email and they have to copy and paste the image out of their email into another program - thus risking the quality of their computers capacity to provide a good image. Then another client has no problem. Read everything, click on everything. I can buy a iconizer, but why do I need to buy a program to simple get the jpg to the client. And why do I need to read every post back to 2003 on why Outlook does this so I can use my simple - attach file within the mac mail. So now I have to go within my computer - control click and save the file into a zip - sometime adding another folder to group them all together. More clutter on my computer.
    This is what is frustrating. Go on mac posts to find answers - they have you click on all these buttons and stuff. Go to pc outlook google searches and they have them clicking and doing all sorts of fixes. Can't these two computer software groups figure this out.
    If it was happening on every client - then I would think it was me. If was happening on every outlook client - I mean everyone outlook receiver - then it is outlook, but it only happens with a few. What button within outlook does the client need to click on or off - it is that simple.
    I might sound frustrated but I'm not. By the post out on the net that I read - this is happening a lot but no one specific answer seems to work. And it is all related to me with the client's outlook email service.

  • Attaching JPGs to Mail

    I'm trying to send 20-30 JPGs at a time to a Windows PC user. They want the JPGs as icons and not embedded as images in the email text. I've tried selecting Windows Friendly; and I've tried left-clicking on the image and selecting View As Icon. But the images always arrive at their destination as embedded images and not icons. How do I get them to appear as icons? Thanks!!

    Then I think the zip route is best. If you have a version of Stuffit installed it's easy.
    Put all the pictures in a folder, right click on the folder and under 'more' select to compress as a zip archive.
    Attach that to the email and hope fully all will be good.
    I'm sure I've seen somewhere on here about this problem before and it is actually the settings in Outlook on the Windows machine that causes this to happen. Doesn't help when they're your clients and must be right though

  • Provision to attach JPG, PDF or word file in module pool program

    Hi All,
    I am creating a Z-transaction with create, change and display options. The user needs 2 to 3 fields where he/she can attach a google map or a pdf or a word file. Could anyone please suggest how I can go about this such that during creation process the user can attach a file and then the same is displayed in the display screen and a click on that could lead to opening of the map or the pdf file stored on the system. If anyone has done the same, cud you please provide the code also.
    Regards,
    BP.

    First of all you need to create a conatiner on screen then
    for displaying word document you need to refer class CL_GUI_DOCUMENTS.
    Sample code :
    data: custom_container type ref to cl_gui_custom_container,
          word_doc         type ref to cl_gui_documents.
    *&&custom container--
      create object custom_container
                     exporting container_name = 'CUST_CONT'.
      create object word_doc
        exporting
          parent            = custom_container

      if sy-subrc <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
               WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
      endif.
    call method word_doc->open_document
      exporting
       GUID                  =
       GUIDTOUSE             = SPACE
       DOCUMENT_ID           =
       CONTREP_ID            =
        document_class        = 'WORDPRO.APPLICATION'
       OBJECT_TYPE           =
       OBJECT_ID             =
       DOCUMENT_TYPE         = 'WORD.BASIC'
      exceptions
        implace_not_supported = 1
        others                = 2
    if sy-subrc <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
               WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.

    for PDF document you need to refer class  CL_GUI_PDFVIEWER

  • 3D pdf - Poor image resolution (see attached jpg)

    I create 3D pdf's from MicroStation on a regular basis to deliver to clients,and I have never had a problem with it until using the latest version of Reader.  When I open a 3D pdf on my workstation (using Adobe Reader 9.1), it looks fine; when my client opens it, it looks like blotches of color with little definition.  I experience the same problem on my personal laptop, but like I said, on my office pc it works fine.  I attached a screen capture here....does anyone know how I can resolve this?
    Thanks!

    I have been searching for days now. I am a highly technical Graphic Designer with experience in print production and in-depth knowledge of Adobe products and MS Office products. I have been unable to solve this issue in my own files for all the settings and file/software adjustments. I have exhausted my energies trying to solve the issue.
    Could someone from Adobe please step up and address this? I have searched your forums and support files as well as Microsoft's and the internet in general to no avail. It seems to be an issue with the way MS's layouts and images are interpreted by Distiller even when settings are adjusted for success.
    This issue occurs when using the "PDFMaker" and when using printing to the PDF PS printer.
    The same PNG I have inserted in a PPT file writes to PDF with no issues but when printed defaults to ignoring the alpha channel. The same exact PDF setting I am using in PPT are used in Word, as well as the same exact PNG but the PDF results are different.
    I am at my wit's end and have opted to alter my design to avoid the transparency but I would still appreciate the topic being covered by an Adobe professional.

  • Display service attachment jpg in Sapscript output

    I need to display an uploaded service attachment image that is attached to the material master, in the line item level of a sales order sapscript.  Any ideas?

    Hi Ricx .s,
    Please try to change the highte and width of the box/cell/table whereevere you are facing the problem in Sapscript.
    It may be not printing the data fully because there is no enough space on page/table/cell/box which can accomodate that much lenght of text..
    try changing width and/or height of the table and check the result.
    Hope it will solve your problem..

  • Auto attach jpg files to image fields

    I create a form with multi text fields and multi image fields in LiveCycle Designer. Each text field will be filled with image path name. Is it possible to write a routine in form to automatically attach each image file name speicifed in text field into respective image field. This function should be automattically activated when opening PDF.
    It will be appreciated if someone has similar codes can be shared.
    Thanks
    Jackson

    Hi,
    The short answer is no (afaik). As far as I can see referencing an external image file is a security concern. See this example here: http://assure.ly/mcFrC6 (in particular page 3).
    Hope that helps,
    Niall

  • Thunderbird crashed on viewing an attachment - jpg, pdf

    I noticed that my thunderbird was crashing way more often than it used to (it actually never really crashed on me much). I finally realized that the common factor was to view an attachment - jpeg or pdf.
    I did the usual testing, running in safe mode, clearing the msf files and even trying a different profile - none of these made any difference. I can save an attachment by dragging it off to the desktop but when I view it (instead of saving) there is a noticeable delay before the item is displayed and after about 2-3 seconds TB crashes. When I start it again the preview pane for messages is on - which I normally have turned off with F8.
    At about the same time these crashes started to happen sometimes after windows start my TB comes up without the left folder pane showing and I have to close it and restart to be able to use it. Second start always succeeds.v
    Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is driving me crazy.

    Thanks for the reply, Matt!
    I tried several version of TB and the problem appeared on all of them. One of the crash report with the latest version of TB is
    https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/2559c3e8-e22e-4458-8fbe-0e2582140804
    In the meantime I found out that my firefiox installation shows the same behavior: I click on a link (for example a MS doc file) and the answer the dialog save/open with with open in MS Word, MS Word starts and displays the file and shortly thereafter FF crashes. This again is a behavior that only recently started to occur.
    I did clear the temp folder and download history, and that made no difference.
