Attachment List option in PR , SO and NOTIFICATION etc

Hi All,
The Create ,Attachment List option in generic object services (GOS)
doesn't work sometimes in Purchase requisition(ME52N and ME53N) , Sales Order , Notification etc.
The (Services for Object ) Button is always Visible however the Create
Attachment , Attachment List and other options will not be Visible to the
users.This happens sometimes with all the users, however after a while
all the options will be available.
We are facing this issue since last 3-4 weeks.

ask your basis team if they have changed some settings, maybe you loose connection to the content repository.

Attachment list option from the GOS

Hi freinds
We have a custom Transaction for which we have activated the GOS icon on the screen. We have that icon and we care able to save the document to the Content repository fine.
The issue is immediately after attaching the documents, if you use the
" Attachment list" option from the GOS menu, it brings the attached documents.
But if you leave the transaction and get in for the same document, the same function is not working.
In what basis i have to save the document...
Kindly pl throw in your ideas on this issue.

Here iam explaining how i resolved in my case
i created a database table with the selection screen values
if i attach any document in the GOS menu than keep a save button and write logic for save button to save the selection screen values in database table
than after that if u see tha attachments again give another button like GET if u give any value which is in database tabel than press get it will get the all selcetion screen values and the attachmentts
Note:Just iam explained what i did but i dont know what is ur requirement exactly

"Open in" mail attachment List option

Hi
Other posters have concluded that no matter how many apps that can open an attachment you are limited to ten open-in options !!
I have a lot of apps (more than 10 !!) that are be able to open in, so i need to change the order list and choose my preferred ten apps.
Now this isn't possible, when i install another app it take the place for example to DropBox (one of my preferred) and i lost the possibility to open in Dropbox !!
May you help me please ?

Missing menu item attachment list in GOS regarding purchase order

Hello All,
I customized the archiving for different kinds of documents.
There is all quite good for example with sales orders or invoices. I can call the transaction codes to view a speacial document - in those cases VA03 / VF03 - , click on the special GOS-icon and select from the drop-down menu the attachment list. The attachment list opens as a popup and there I see all created PDF documents.
Only with purchase orders it won't work. Calling the ME23N and clicking on the GOS-icon the menu item attachment list is not active (light grey). With administration transaction OAAD I can see that there are archived PDF documents. So, the archiving works but still not the viewing of archived purchase orders.
How can I activate the attachment list in this case? Maybe I forgot to do something?

Check if note 1506581 is present in your system,if not please implement the same.
Also check if in /SPRO -> IMG Customizing -> "Integration with
our mysap.com components" -> Supplier Relationship Management ->
Message Control -> "Activate Document Transfer"
the customizing is correctly set for BUS2012 (Purchase Order).
If not, please maintain this entry correctly and re-test the
scenario.

Delete and Change options in Attachment list to be disabled

Hi Experts,
I am working IS-U. In transaction EC20 when we see any print document, there is an icon for attachment at top. According to my customeru2019s requirement, user should only be able to attach the file, the options for Delete and change should be disabled.
When I do this through transaction SGOS and change the status as inactive of the service u2018VIEW_ATTAu2019, itu2019s deactivate the attachment list as whole .In this case user is not able to see the attachment also.
Any suggestion regarding this would be appreciated .

use FM with Edit functionality enabled for all fields and
Create one pf-status with some buttons
if user presses the button the alv output table should be saved and same table can be used to insert /modify /delete the dbtable.

The reuqirement is this:
A user attaches doucments ( using the Generic Object Services to attach document ) while creating/changing Purchase Requisition (ME51N / ME52N).
Now when any user goes to see the docuemnts attached to the PR, he selects the 'Attachement List' from the context menu, he should only be able to read it and should not be allowed to change or delete the document. For this we need to disable the 'change' and 'delete' buttons from the toolbar.

Probably you have uncommented the call to super class when you reimplement the method on child class (z class)
I just implement the same thing now and it worked for me. Take a look:
1 - Modify the SGOSATTR table by SM30, just write a Z class (in my case CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE) .
2 - Create/inheridt a subclass (not a copy) in SE24 of the standard class.
3 - Implement the method CHECK_STATUS in the z class. Note that the call to method on super class came commented. You only uncomment if you want to also execute a standard code in the super class.
Here is my code:

NOTE - In my real implementation I have uncommented the code below because I want do standard code be executed before my own check.

Enable 'Attachment List' in IW21/22/23 - Notification

Hi All,
I am trying to enable the link 'Attachment List' from 'Services for Object' in transaction codes: IW21/IW22/IW23. After clicking on this link, i need to display all the email attachment available to the particular notification in the popup which will appear on the screen. I want to enable below marked link.
Can anyone suggest how to achieve this..

It looks to me an issue with missing authorization.
Refer SAP note below for required objects to have them enabled

I have solved the issue Alhamdulillah by the foll. method:
1. Copied CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST
2. In ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST there is a method called: CHECK_STATUS. I overwrote with my check;
on_mode_changed( 'D' ). --- For display
on_mode_changed( 'E' ). --- For edit mode.
3. In SGOS tcode, added VIEW_ATTA to point to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST

Link between Purchase order and Attachment list

Hi All,
I got a requirement like Purchase orders are from moved from one system to another system.There was a bug in BDC program
so some Attachment list of the purchase orders are not moved properly to the another system.
                                               Now my client want a report to generate the Purchase orders which is having attachment list.
I did not find any table link between Purcahase order and Attachment list.
                                              So Plz provide me the link between purchase order and attachment list.

You mean service for object services?
if yes then u have to create one custom report for Generic Object Services   ( like notes , attachment , url )

CV01N - Attachment List and Originals

Hello everyone,
I'd like to know what's the difference, within the transactino CV01N/CV02N, between:
1) Create Attachment from the Generic Object Services Menu (icon in the upper left corner)
2) Originals Tab (where I can attach files to the document being created/modified)
In particular, I tried to attach a file through the Generic Object Services Menu and it appears in the attachment list for that specific object. However it doesn't show in the originals tab.

Hi,
basically the Attachment list in the generic object services (GOS) area and the originals area or tab in CV01N, CV02N, CV03N is not related. These are two separate functional areas.
GOS Attachment list:
This attachment list can be found for nearly all object (document info record, material master,euqipments,...) and allows you to add specific files to the object and store them by archivelink technique.
Original tab in DMS:
This area is something DMS specific and allows you to store original files to the document info records. This original files are normally stored in a content server and from DMS point of view you will have more functionalities as when you add the files to the attachment list. Dear Experts,
Please can someone provide sample code and 'How to' steps to replicate ME52N create attachment and attachment list in Web dynpro?
I've looked at FILEUPLOAD and FILEDOWNLOAD in Web dynpro and this seems suitable for only 1 file attachment.

If your are having a UI like ME52N and you want an attachment feature in each row, I have below suggestions:
Suggestion 1: If you use ALV
Add a column in list of type Xstring or which ever suits your document specificatio
Add a Button on the ALV for attachment,
On click of the button you can Popup a browse window and user can select the file.
The content of the file can be stored as Xstring for that Line item.
Suggestion 2: IF you use Table UI element
Add an attreibute to context node of type Xstring
In the Table set, you can set FIleUpload as the editor for this column.

SQ01 help for listing not used problem codegroup and code in notifications

I am making a query through SQ01 to find out how many damage codes created for a particular notification type are not being used .
In infoset I used QMEL which lists problem code group and problem code and as a bonus we also get codegroup text . When I test this query , I get damage code group and code used in all the notifications . I want solution for the following
1)How to list only distinct damage codegroup and damage code (Not per notification wise)
2)Which second table I have to use to get problem code short text
3)Which table I have to add in infoset and how join has to be created so that I get list of Damage codegroups and codes not used in notification .

Missing "creator name" and "created time" on attachment list in ordrer

Hi all,
When printing an order (in VA01, 02, 03) with storage mode: archive only, and then display the document in "Displ.Originals", the creator and creation time are blank (in Attachment list pop-up).
How to complete these fields?

Here is a step-by-step of what I did (using Adobe Acrobat 9.5.1):
Open PDF document in Acrobat
Select Forms -> Add or Edit Fields
Add two text fields: one called "Today" for the date and one called "Printer" for the printer name
Close the form editing
Select Advanced -> Document Processing -> Set Document Actions...
Then select Document Will Print and Edit
Paste the following code:

var pp = this.getPrintParams();
this.getField("Printer").value = pp.printerName;
Save your PDF
Enjoy!
The date and printer name field will be automatically updated when you print the document!

"Tap to tweet" and "tap to post" options have gone in my notification centre

I have the iPhone 5 and I noticed when I first had it that I did have the "tap to tweet" and "tap to post" options in my notification centre but they've somehow gone and I'm not sure why this is. Somehow the "share widget" option isn't in my notification section of settings either because apparently that's how you turn it back on! Somebody please help???

Check Settings App > Notifications. Then scroll down to Locate the ShareWidget. The Twitter and FaceBook aps also have to be turned on (in general, but not in Notifications).
After checking eh settings, if you still do not have those options, Ttry a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
