Attachment on purhase order shows on PO print.

hello,
Recently we configured the PO attachment. We use SRM and the attachment on the shopping cart is tranferred to the purchase order in the R3 system. By choosing doucment on the purchasers order purchasers can access the attachment. However, on the PO print the document (attachment) belonging to the particlular line item on the PO is mentioned. Underneath the description of the item on the PO print It says 'the following document belongs to this item'.
Can anybody let me know how I can configure the system to not mention the link on the PO print ?

In order to save any type of document on your phone you need to have an app that supports that form of document.
There are several word processing apps but I prefer Pages. Buy this app. Once it is on your phone you can tap the Word document in your email to view it then tap the Share icon and Open in Pages.
If you edit the document and email it you will have the choice to send it as a Pages document, a Word document or a PDF file.

Purchase Order shows all Characteristics

Hi Gurus,
We create Subcontracting Purchase Order for a configurable Material Sales Order. The Sales Order shows only the Class but the characteristics are hidden during the print out but the Purchase Order shows all the characteristics when Printed. The Purchase Order looks like a mess as there are so many characteristics printed along with the Order. Can anyone suggest how to hide those characteristics when we print the purchase order? Any help is appreciated and points will be rewarded to the right answer.

you can remove the flag for the filed P - Print Relevant
indicator in CL02 for the charcterisitcs assigned to the class
Enter the class in CL02, click on change, goto the Char tab page, here in Charcteristic line remove th flag for Print

OfficeJet 8500 Printer attached to Windows XP system via USB prints partial pages

I have an OfficeJet 8500 printer stationed at the desk of one of my users and is attached to her Windows XP system with a USB cable. The printer has started to print partial pages and will not complete a full page of text or images, color or black and white.
I have attempted to reset the printer by removing power from the printer via the power cord, and holding # and 6 while turning the printer on (after reconnecting the power cord, of course). The alignment process took place after this procedure, but it has not resolved the issue.
I have not yet upgraded the firmware from what was installed at the factory.
What might I do? What am I missing? Do I need to upgrade the installed driver on the system? Is the printer able to be salvaged? It doesn't appear to be hardware, as the portions which print are perfect; I just don't get the entire page.

The USB to parrallel cable will work just find if you don't mind plugging in the laptop to the printer when required. If you want to modify Win XP to be able to print to an AppleTalk printer follow the instructions below.
"To install AppleTalk protocol to Windows XP
Required files: (Get them from any system running Windows 2000 Professional or Server)
netatlk.inf, sfmatalk.sys, sfmmon.dll, sfmatmsg.dll, sfmwshat.dll, sfmpsprt.dll
If they can not be found you need to unhide hidden and system files.

Entourage: Show attachments in printed messages?

Is there a way to make Entourage show that a printed message has an attachment? Mail does this (it shows a little paper clip and, at the bottom, shows the name of the attached file) but I cannot figure out how to make it happen in Entourage. It's important that my printed files reflect not only that I sent an email to so-and-so, but that I attached such-and-such a file.
Ah, just use Mail, you say. Yes, but in Mail I cannot figure out how to automate the process of printing all incoming and outgoing messages. So I forget to print messages, which leaves my files incomplete.
Each program gets me 90% of where I need to be. Would love to get that missing 10%.

Perhaps I am not explainging myself very well.
In the Send Box new messages do not show the clip in the Attachments column. The image below is of two messaegs, both of which have an attachment, yet no clip is shown (this is also true of the Draft Box).
In all other boxes, an attachment is shown with a clip (see below).
I need the clips to be shown in all mail boxes.

Hi,
In the Sales order, go to Conditions and in the Pricing 'Analysis' , check for where the system is determining the two values of this discount condition. It may be possible that it is determining from two condition tables.
Also in the access sequence of this condition type, please make sure that the 'exclusive' indicator is checked for the condition tables.

Creating an Attachment for an Order by a 3rd Party Application

Hi All,
I want to create an attachment for, say, a Work Order.
The file is in a particular directory in the Application Server and I am executing the FM with the required file information.
Now the FM has to take the file from the application server and attach it to an order. Following is the approach I am following:
I am using Open Dataset and Read Dataset Commands to read the file, IN BINARY MODE, in an internal table which has a filed of type RAW.
Till now I think I have achieved the successful conversion of the file data into binary data. Am I right?
Then I am calling the BDS_BUSINESSDOCUMENT_CREA_TAB BAPI while passing it the neccessary details.
The .txt file is getting successfully attached to the order.
With the .doc, .ppt files they are getting attached in the Order, I can see them in the Attachment List, but when I try to open them, I get this error:
Attachment list Error while opening document
So I think the attachment is working fine.. but the conversion of data has some issue.
Can you guys please help me out with ideas??

You have set Blocked in sales order , it will still show up in the MD04 because MD04 shows all the reciepts and requirement as per filetre and selection rule .
n case , you put the schedule line itme categery as CN or set reeason for rejection option in Sales Order line item (va02) , then it will not show up in MD04 .

Canon MP450 - Driver not showing up in Print Settings

Has anyone had success using the Canon MP450
I have tried every driver but cant get it to show in the Printer Selection preferences

hey man. i had the same problem and actually just downloaded some driver software at this cannon website. all you have to do is enter your processor information and download it. hope it works out for you!

PDF annotation with link, image doesn't show, only in print or Google Chrome, not Adobe Reader main

We are creating PDF files with annotations, we are using the O2 Solutions PDF Library for C#. We used to create PDFStampAnnotations, but now we want to make the images clickable, to navigate to the URL belonging to the image.
Therefore, we are now using PDFLinkAnnotations, with a PDFImageAppearance.
We set the flags of the annotation to Print.
However, the annotation won't show in the PDF in Adobe Reader. It does show in the Google Chrome inline PDF viewer.
It also shows in the print preview window in Adobe Reader.
But it does not show in the normal view in Adobe Reader. What we do see is, when hovering over the rectangle that should contain our image, our mouse cursor becomes a hand and a tooltip with the link is displayed. If we click, everything works as expected. But we don't see an image!
What can we do about this? This is really annoying, as I don't have a clue why it won't work. Actually, to me, this looks like a bug in Adobe Reader?

Indeed, I tried saving a PDF that had the "default appearance", it shows exactly the same. So it looks like it "can't" show the image.
However, of course, I do want the image to be shown. How can I achieve this? How can I tell Adobe Reader (and other PDF viewers) I really really realllyyyyy want to see that image there? I believe I'm not doing anything really exotic, right? There must have been tons of other people that wanted to do the same thing, I guess?

No. Apple only keeps the pdf file for a book for 30 days. Without the library and book project you won't be able to reorder the same book.

Financial Document attached to Sales Order

Hi !!
When we are trying to attach L/C to Sales order, if few parameters are mismatched, system gives information message before saving sales order.
These parameters can be customized.
We need that if overall status of the financial documents when attached to sales order is not OK. Then system should stop user and should not allow to save the order.
Can anybody give any suggestion, how to tackle this issue.

Since L/C will have impact on the billing, I dont think in sale order we can control this and what you mentioned is applicable for billing. If any datas what is maintained in L/C differs from billing data, I dont think system will allow to generate billing.
However, if you want to control this at sale order, you have to go for user exit.

Why do old Adobe PDF files which I attach to a document show as Firefox documents in my files instead of an Adobe PDF file after an Adobe Reader update? My saved files Adobe PDF documents also appear as Firefox documents instead of Adobe PDF files.

NO MATTER WHAT VERSION OF WINDOWS YOU'RE USING:
Right click one of the PDFs with the Word icon.
Select "Properties"
Where it says "Opens With" there is a button to change it from Word to Adobe Reader, which should be in the list of available programs that pops up.
Choose Reader, and click APPLY before clicking OK.
That will change ALL PDFs to Reader as the default application.
