Attachment transfer from E Rec to PA

Hi Experts,
While doing data transfer activity we also want to transfer attachments for  a candidate from E Rec to PA. We are using ECC 6, EHP 7 E Recruiting.
Currently we are transferring the data part only but now attachment transfer is also a requirement through Data transfer activity only from E Rec.
Pl guide.
Regards
Puneet

It's not in the standard so you'll have to create it yourself (for example with a z function).
A possible way to store the attachments is for example using Digital Personal File (DPF)
Digital Personnel File (DPF) - HR Administrative Services (PA-AS) - SAP Library

  • New Hire Data Transfer from E-Rec to ECC via PA48

    Hi,
We have requirement where we need to use the basic new hire data transfer from erec to ecc using PA48.
Could someone help me by listing the step by step process that is required to configure in both EREC & ECC?

  • Attachment transfer from PR to PO

Client requirement was that the attachments in purchase requisition should get transferred to PO automatically, whenever the PO is created with reference to the PR
We have written a program for such automatic transfer of attachments and tested, it was working fine.
Now the problem is that in production sometimes the attachments are not getting transferred to PO.
There is no specific pattern of this issue. That means sometimes the attachments are transferred to PO but sometimes they are not.
We hve already checked following points.
    1. Tried to replicate the issue in test environment but in test environment we are not getting any problem. The attachments are
        transferred successfully in test environment.
    2. There is no change in process of creating the PO by user
    3. The attachments in PR are attached in ME51N and sometimes ME52N, but the issue occurs for both types of attachments
    4. There is no security role change for the users.
    5. We tried asking the user to change the computer that he is using (Although it doesnt looks very logical).
    6. The issue is not relevant with any document type
Please let me know if you have faced any similar issue OR if you can think of any different reason for this issue
    Thanks,
    Yogesh

    Hi Guys,
We have a requirement to to transfer the attachments from PR to PO , and as per SAP Note 1140398 there seems to be a BADI that needs to be implemented. Can anybody help us to get the badi name that must be implemented.

  • Attachment transfer from SH (SRM) to PReq (R/3) failed in one instance

    Dear Expers,
in SRM 7.0 Classic, I have come accross the following problem with the transfer of the attachments from the SRM Shopping Cart to the R/3 PREq:
This functionality is normally working absolutely fine but now there was one instance observed, where the attachment as such did not get tranferred from SRM to R/3.
In the PReq, that was created from this shopping cart in R/3, the document number for the attachment got created by the DMS, but if i look into the attachment window, than the actual file is not there.
I have checked the other R/3 documents before and after this one PReq and in those documents, the trasfer of the attachment worked fine.
Can anyone think of a reason for this unexpected behauviour?
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
it is assumed, that at the certain point of time, when the PReq was creating from the Shopping cart, the document repository for attachem (KPRO) was down in R/3. I assume, that that was the reason for this one time unusual behaviour.
    Thank you.

  • Attachment transfer from SC to PO

    Hi Everyone,
We have a requirement of transferring the attchments attched in SC to the PO or PR, i.e. to follow-on documents being created.
We are using SRM 7.0. Can anyone pls guide what are th steps for that. Is it a customization or we need to customize via a BADI.
I have found out  that the documents can be transferred to PO from SC using DMS. Does anyone have a guide or document that can help me to configure the steps for the same???
    Pls help.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Jagadish,
you must configure the R/3 Document Management System (DMS) in transaction
    DC10:
    1. Create document type SRM. Note that no flag is set in any of the columns.
    2. Double click in the detail view to define the new Doc. type desc. = SRM Documents.
    Set the Use KPro indicator.
Enter 1 in the Number assignment field.
Enter an internal number range interval. You can use an existing interval or
create a new one in transaction CV90. The internal number range must be used,
because the GUID of the SRM attachments has more digits than the number in
    the backend system.
Maintain the number exit. The number exit is a program exit for document
number. It controls number assignment and version numbering for documents.
The default setting is MCDOKZNR. If you want to control the number assignment
or the version increment via a USER_EXIT, then you have to replace the
program MCDOKZNR with a company-specific program. You can find further
information in the field help for number exit.
In the screen area Field selection enter – in the field Document Status.
    3. Go to the Dialog Structure and double-click on the entry Define object links. Define the
new object links EKPO and EBAN. Maintain object link descriptions for EKPO
(Purchase order item; Scr.no. 248) and EBAN (Purchase req. item; Scr. no. 247)
    4. Define the workstation application in transaction DC30.
All required file types should be included in this list.
    5. Activate Document Transfer
SPRO> Integration with other mySAP.com Components> Supplier Relationship Managemen> Message Control> Activate Document Transfer --> Execute
    6. Assign the Document Type Define earlier and the Category to the Object type  ex: BUS2012 (PO)
Ensure that you maintain a relation between BUS Object/ DMS Document Type/ Category.
Note: Check XML Monitor, make sure the attachment exist in Binary format.
Let me know if any questions!
    Thanks

2.How do we handle attachments to integrated suppliers?
3.What formats are applicable in the attachment? (.xls, .doc, .ppt, .mpp, other?)

DC10 - create a Document type for SRM
DC30 - Maintain all relevant extensions
In order to store shopping cart attachments in the backend system, you must first activate the transfer by creating an active method and by setting the indicator for parameter in BAdI .
Then you must configure the R/3 Document Management System (DMS) in transaction DC10:

    4. Define the workstation application in transaction DC30.
All required file types should be included in this list.
    Transferring Attachments (optional)
This is offered in SPRO itself.  You can set up Web servers for exchanging documents. To do this you can define the following types of publishing:
    Publishing Internally
This is the exchange of documents between systems that belong to your own area of responsibility (intranet).
    Publishing externally
This is the exchange of documents with partners who should be given external access (from the extranet) to their own data.
If the publishing settings for external and internal access are identical, you can use a single Web server for exchanging data.

  • Attachment transfer from IR to ISO

    Hello Friends,
We have to transfer the attachments from Internal Requisition (IR) to Internal Sales Order (ISO).But it does not happen automatically as it does in while autocreating PO from requisition.
Is there any way in Oracle to achieve it? what could be the possible solution?
    We are on 11.5.10.2.
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards,

    Hi Amit,
I don't think this feature is available. May be you have to create the customization to do it. Try customization the Order line/header the workflow to copy the attaching from IR to SO.

  • Candidate Data transfer from E-Recruiting System to HR system for New Hiring.

    Hi All,
Hope everyone doing in good Spirit.
We are implementing E-Recruiting as Standalone for one of our client.
Can any please help me in regards with Data transfer from E-Rec System to HR System for hiring once the candidate has been successfully completed recruiting process.
    You inputs are highly appreciable.
    Thank you.
    Sekhar.

    Hello Sekhar,
there are three different scenarios for transferring the data of an external candidate to the HR core for hiring.
the easiest and most commonly used is the RFC connection. When creating an activity of category data transfer the data of the candidate is transferred from eRec to HR core. There it is stored in table T752F. Then you can run transaction PA48. There you can select the candidate and run a hiring action. This is the same action like in PA40 only the system will preset the fields with the values from eRec (similar to batch input).
Instead of using the RFC solution you can transfer the data using PI (this can be activated using a switch in T77S0). To be honest none of my customers is using this. Either they had no PI server at all or they did not use it for eRec
The third was delivered with a business function HCM_HIRE_INT_CI_1. This is based on HCM processes and forms and targeted towards customers using Talent Management Core (e.g. data for education and work experience is transferred into the TM Core infotypes 740X as contrary to the hr core standard infotypes 0022 and 0023 they are structured like the eRec ones). Of course as you can do a lot of customer enhancements to HCMP&F you can replace the behavior nearly completely. One or two of my clients discussed this solution but as far as I know none is actually using it.
The simple truth is most customers seem to not use any integration at all. The first solution is easy to activate but only covers around 13 fields. Compared to a real full blow hiring action this is not even 10% of the fields which have to be entered. So the presetting this small number of fields is not a great help especially as you have to check every information anyways. Furthermore PA48 is not very nice and lacks functions to structure the incoming records which makes it difficult to handle in large distributed organizations.
The other two options require a lot of infrastructure for small functionality. What we discussed with a client was using the new hire integration to preset a full hiring form with eRec data and then send to the candidate as offline form to gather all missing information and use this for hiring. But there were to many issues on data privacy aspects when sending a form with social security data, bank account data, etc. via email. Furthermore they required actual signatures.
    Kind regards

  • Transfer attachment document from purchase Requisition(ME51n,ME52n) to Purc

    Hi
How to do Transfer attachment document from purchase Requisition(ME51n,ME52n) to Purchase order(ME21n,ME23n).

    Hi Muthu,
I understand that it is possible to bring attachments from ECC to the SRM system for the new release.
However, I have a slightly different question.
If I want to bring in requirements from a legacy system to SRM 7.0 system directly, what is the feasability of the same? If I have an attachment linked in the legacy system, then is it possible to bring it in SRM 7.0 system directly or will I be forced to route it to ECC 6.0 and then use the Plan Driven Procurement scenario for getting it into SRM?

  • Material PR transfer from ECC to SRM without Account Assignment

    Hello,
When a material PR without account assignment is transferred to SRM. The scenario is determined as direct procurement and system will behave in extended classic scenario.
I would need the PO to be posted in backend ie Classic scenario.
We are in SRM 7.0 using SOA PR transfer from ECC EHP 4 system.
I believe there is  consulting note available for this scenario. If any body has the note number please share it.
    Thanks,
    Rohith

    Symptom
While running Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP) purchase requisitions (PR) will be created in SAP ERP (e.g. after creating a Planned Order in MD10).
Before SAP SRM 7.0 these requisition got the field EPROFILE assigned which enabled the system to extract the PR document to SAP SRM by using report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER. As of SAP SRM 7.0 and SAP ERP 6.04 you configured Business Add-In ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST to trigger SOA message PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_Out.
After running MRP you notice that no sourcing request SOA message got generated.
    Other terms
    SOA, MRP, Sourcing, external sourcing,
    BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER, EPROFILE
    MD10, MD14, MD04
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Program error.
    Solution
Due to complexity it is not possible to provide a SAP core correction. However PP-MRP application provides a BAdI interface that gives the possiblity to trigger this functionality of external sourcing.
If you need to use the external sourcing with SAP MRP create a new implementation for BAdI MD_PURREQ_POST and inherite from the class provided in attached correction instruction.
Note 1546980 - MRP PReq: PurchaseRequestERPSouricingRequest_Out not send
1263876 - SAP SRM: Configuration of Procure-to-Pay Scenario
Note 1504247 - ME54/ME55 does not trigger sourcing SOA message

  • OM and PA data transfer from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0

    Dear Experts,
    hi
i am working on one project where i will need to design the data transfer from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0. this is not a upgrade project.
the data of PA and OM are in 4.7 which is existing system. i need to transfer entire data into ECC 6.0 so i can use that data for my E-Recruitment module ( we are doing E-rec fresh implementation.)
we will keep both the systems (4.7 and ECC 6.0). ECC 6.0 will be used for E-Rec and OM only. for PA and Payroll we will use 4.7.
    can some one tell me,
    1. what are the key points to keep in consideration from OM point of view ?
    2. which is the best method to transfer the OM structure and data from 4.7 to ECC?
    3. what are the risks?
    4. which system we should make master system and which will be the slave system? why ?
your input will be much appreciated.
    thanks and regards
    chandra

    Hi Chandra,
I was under the impression that you are planning to use PA & OM from 4.7, now I read it again.
Now its advisable to keep ECC 6 as a master system, becoz OM is the stating point of the HR processes where all Orgnization unit, job, position exists. Later the same data can flow to the slave system for PA use. As OM is the starting point, this system should be the master system.
    Abou the IDoc interface.
Check the basic type HRMS_A05, whether it has all the data you need to transmit. T-Code WE30
If you need to add something you can create a Z version in WE31. I selected HRMS_A05 as it is present in both the SAP version.
Next there are series of transaction you need to process. Check with technical person who hands IDoc interafcing.
    Steps are:
Assigning Message type to IDOC Type with extension. T-Code WE82
    Create Logical System:
    T-Code SALE-> Basic Settings-> Logical Systems-> Define Logical System
It is required to configure in the sending system as well as in the receiving system
    Assign Logical System to Client:
T-Code SALE-> Basic Settings-> Logical Systems-> Assign Logical System to Client
    Create RFC Destinations:
T-Code SM59, select ABAP connection of type 3.
    Create Distribution Model: T-Code BD64
    Generate Partner Profile: T-Code BD82
Maintain sending system partner profile: T-Code WE20
Link Message Type to Function Module T-Code WE57 in receiving system only
    Hope this will help.

  • ERec - Data Transfer from eRec system to HCM System

    Hello All,
Currently am able to do the data transfer from eRec system to HCM system but am finding some inconsistencies here.
In our scenario we are on ehp4 and no XI in place, We are doing via RFC only. Stanalone eRec system
So here are few queries and if someone can address these would be really great and appreciate the help
    1) While i do the data transfer activity, when i select activity and don not give the Hiring Date in the Org Assignment Column it throws an error "When transferring data using XI, the hiring date must be specified". But am not using XI, then why should it give this error?
Also is it not possible that i do the data transfer without any hiring date?
Also there are two options Planned and Completed. When i do the data transfer i keep it in planned status and do it it automatically saying that Complete
    Is this correct
2)Now when i do the data transfer it is getting appeared in HR system when i execute the PA48 tcode.
    Here my queries are
    a) Suppose i do a data transfer for a candidate Abc on 10.10.2010 and run the PA48 tcode it appears in the list as hire date 10.10.2010
Now as a recruiter am again doing the data transfer for the same candidate Abc for 11.10.2010 and againg when i see PA48 there is again another entry for the Abc candidate for hiring
Is this correct process. How should these duplicate entries to be avoided. Pls help me
    3) Also i case if I want additions infotypes to be transferred in PA48 how should we go for this development
Pls help me in these queries

    Dear All,
we are Implementing E-recruitment. while transferinf the data from E-recruitment to Personnel administraion, I am getting the error, No data available from the partner system table T752F). We are using the same server for E-rec and PA.
While doing the data transfer activity in E-recruitment i m getting succfulll. In R/3 while going to the Tcode PA48 i m getting the error.
    Please help me on this.

An integrated hiring (data transfer) scenario with SAP e-recruitment
and R/3 starts with creating a "Data Transfer for New Employees"
activity within e-recruiting for the candidate selected to be hired.
Data from e-recruitment is transferred to the target HR (via an RFC
call) and stored there in a holding table (T572F) for processing
by an appropriate action.  Within the HR system, execute transaction
PA48 to access the holding table.  Select the candidate you want to
process and then click the "Hire" button, and continue with the
    appropriate action.
This message occurs, if you execute PA42 or PA48, in order to perform
the personnel action RA (Integration with Recruitment in Partner
Systems) and no data exists on the R/3  or external system.
You will find all the relevant information in the IMG documents
    available. Please check;
