Attachments are not coming through correctly on th...

for some reason, all of my attachments that come through on my n900 are winmail.dat files instead of the actual pdf/doc/xls, etc.
anyone have an answer for that one?  or, having the same issue?

yeah, did that, and just to appease the willingess for you post, i did it again, but still the same.
wierd, i have recieved a couple of email that have jpg files in them and they were fine.  but the large majority are coming through as winmail.dat files.  this includes what are supposed to be pdf's/doc/xls, etc.
maybe next firmware.
hope it comes as a christmas present from santa's usb cable!

    Open Messages. Then go to the Menu and click on Messages. In the drop down select Preferences. Choose the accounts tab. If you have already added your iCloud account then remove it and add it again.

  • IMessages are not coming through to iPad

    Recently, my iMessages have not been coming through to my iPad.  My sent messages will show up, but the received ones will not.  I have check all of my Message settings, and they have not changed from what they were before. I've checked my Wifi connection and all other possibilities I can see, but I feel I am just missing something simple.  Any ideas?

    If you mean that you are not getting notified when a text comes in, go to Settings> Notification Center> Messages.

    Many of my customers are contacting me as they are not receiving a confirmation of their order completed on adobe forms central. i have set the options on adobe to ensure that they receive an email notification reciept. But they still dont get anything. I have done a few tests and I am also not receiving anything.

    I think you refer to the "Email Receipts" feature (originally I assumed that the probelm was with "Email Notifications").
    I see that currently your form setup to send email based on the value of "First Name" field,
    looks like a typo, you probably meant to use "Email" field. I've updated the property to use "Email" value, can you please try again to see if it works now.

    Some calls are coming in and some aren't. Is there something I should do to my phone or is this a network issue?

    Try resetting your network settings.
    Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    If this doesn't resolve it, contact your wireless carrier for assistance, as the problem is most likely with the network, not your phone.

    You don't need to login to these workstations at all
    for the registry to take effect. All you need to do is let the workstations sit in the OU and "soak" the new policy , then restart the stations remotely/manually once or twice. I have about 60 OUs that work this way.
    the only other 2 things left are: 1) check if policy replicates to all DCs 2) format reinstall that client or use 2-3 different clients and 2-3 regular PC workstations to test the settings. the 2nd option will confirm if the DevotIT locked the registry settings
    down or not.
          I am using two computers to check this and one uses Windows Vista, the computer configuration settings are being applied, but when I do a gpresult /h c:\report.html and have a look there are no registry entries in there.  When I
    do the same thing on the thin client, the registry entries show up in the report.html file.  Why would that be?  Is there an issue with Windows Vista?
         Also, how can I troubleshoot the replication without creating folders on sysvol.  I don't want to mess with sysvol folder.
         Do you know what the Error message means?  I am trying to search for it but haven't really found much.  Is there maybe a listing of errors with GPOs?

               I created a new OU and new policy from scratch.  No modifications at all and all new names.  There should be no conflicts at all.  Still getting that error.  No matter how many times I reboot and
    no matter what domain server comes up, I still get the same thing.  Both my vista computer and thin client have been moved over to the new OU.
             I might create a new thread to put more attention on this issue.

    One gets a message, the other does not.
    That was implied in the first post which Eric asked you to clarify.
    Technically they are different apps  and sometime require different actions to fix them.
    In theory you can use different Apple ID in Messages for the iMessages account and FaceTime.
    However if you use iMessages on the Mac and want to switch to FaceTime using the Video icon then you may confuse the Contact as the incoming identifying info is likely to be different and they may refuse connection.
    Lets presume the Mac gets the iMessages but the iPhone does not.
    On the iPhone Settings > Messages and check the iPhone number is ticked as a Send and Receive ID in the Send and Receive part.
    Although this should be ticked (once the Messages app in On) and greyed out (the User can't access this) it can sometimes lose the setting (I have seen it twice now and the last time was the General release of Yosemite).
    In the case where someone send to the iPhone Number on the sync version will  show on the Mac.  (it does not transfer to the Apple ID and repeat back to the iPhone that way).
    Remove the Apple ID from the iPhone.
    Turn the Messages app Off.
    Set the iPhone to Airplane mode to break with server.
    On "restarting" the iPhone after a few minutes Restart the Messages app.
    Wait until it has Verified.
    Then send (from the iPhone Number as you have no other choice) to the Apple ID (So the Mac gets it).
    Return an iMessages so you know the iPhone is receiving (it will send to the iPhone number in a chat opened this way)
    Add back the Apple ID.
    Restart the Mac version and accept the pop ups about the info the iPhone is using.
    If these is not the issue you will have to be a lot clearer in your info.
    (we cannot see over you shoulder to be able to help in this case)

    Client is of the view it is because of the default value 1 in the equivalance no. column. Sap has set the default value as 1 for the column and the client is not getting the desired output. Is there any way of making this price uniform?

    Equivalent # coloum will not have any impact on that. This seems to be a unique problem after Upgrade.

    I have been having issues for a couple of weeks uploading images to Facebook as well as other sites that I use for business, like CreateSpace.     It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
