Attachments from SRM to SAP R/3

Hi,
We are currently setting up the DMS for document attachments from SRM5.0 to the SAP R/3 backend, and have followed the customising steps for both SAP R/3 and SRM accordingly.
In the process, we attach documents to the SC. The follow-on document created is a PR. The problem that we face is when we view the PR from ME53N, and select the ‘Services for Object’ – the attachments link is ‘greyed’.
However, in transaction CV04N, we can see the attachment/s via the object link (referencing the respective PR and item no.)
Also, if one creates a PR directly in the SAP backend, and then create an attachment via the ‘Services for Object’, you can see the attachments and the link is not ‘greyed’ out. This attachment can also be viewed via CV04N
I have been through many of the links on SDN, and can not find any possible solution that describes this problem. Is there any additional customising that is required for this link to be visible and not greyed out when viewing PR’s created from SRM?
Anyone experienced the same issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
Many thanks and best regards,
Alan Brouard

Hi Nacho.
Sorry the bad news, but account is not transfers from SRM to ECC or from ECC to SRM in contracts.
The Contracts goes between systems via IDOCs (BLAREL)
As you can see in transaction WE60, IDOC BLAREL02 has not account data.

  • Contract from srm to SAP R/3

I made a account assigned pr(with cost centre) in SAP R/3, then i transferred it to SRM, and made a bid in SRM, after all I selected one bid and triggered a contract in SRM so that contract gets made in SAP r/3.
Now the contract automatically picks account assignment as "U" while account assignment is mandatory for that material so it does not make a contract and gives error that account assignemnt mandatory for that material.
Basically account assignemnt data is not being picked up when i transfer pr feom R/3 to SRM.
So when I make a contract it also does not get transferred from SRM to R/3.
    Pls. help and guide.

    Hello Kumar,
    Please find the SAP documentation:

I have not tested the functionality but as per documentation Under Business Partner Monitor transaction, you can synchronize SRM vendors with ECC vendors directly using a pushbutton Transfer Change to Backend.

  • Work Items are not pulled from SRM into SAP Fiori

    Hi Friends,
We are using Application controlled workflow in SAP SRM. As Fiori won't support application controlled workflow, I have followed the guide to configure the task as custom workflow in scenario definition. But its not pulling the work item from SRM in Fiori tile. My tile shows 0.
When I  click on the same to go in, I am getting the below error.
A problem occurred while reading the data
Check the URL parameters and the scenario definition. To check the scenario definition, go to customizing for SAP NetWeaver Gateway and choose SAP NetWeaver -> Gateway Service Enablement -> Content -> Task Gateway Service -> Scenario Definition.

  • Vendor syncronization from SRM to SAP R/3

    Hi all,
We are working with one SRM system (5.0) with several R/3 back-end systems (4.6C) and would like to have SRM as the master system related to supplier information. The question is whether this will be possible without MDM (or even with). It seems as standard you are only able to syncronize data from R/3 to SRM (BBP_VENDOR_SYNC) and not the other way around.
Has anyone help us out on this?
    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
You're right, you cannot synchronize vendors from SRM to R/3 (or from SRM-MDM to SRM for that matter) in the standard.
I think it's quite possible to distribute data from MDM to multiple target systems. This is the whole point of MDM - to unify data maintenance. The only caveat is that you'll need to have the full Netweaver MDM license for that. The MDM components delivered as part of SRM-MDM Catalog will not be enough to do the job for you.
You will also need some serious MDM expertise plus, of course, people who know the ins and outs of master data maintenance on the target side (e.g. R/3). Plus you'll need to figure out your scenario: 1) maintain data in SRM > replicate to MDM > distribute to R/3. 2) maintain data in MDM > distribute to SRM and R/3. 3) you name it...
    Basically, it's a project

  • BAPI to transfer PO data from SRM to SAP

Hello, i have modified my Purchasing org. in SRM . Is there a BAPI i can use to transfer this modification to SAP.

    Hello Antish,
How did you modify concerned PO ? With a specific report ?
If this modification was not transfered to R/3, run function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC using PO Guid as importing parameter.

  • Transfer attachment from SRM SHC to ECC PO

    Hi,
Im working on SRM 7.0.Classic scenario.I need to enable the transfer of attachments from SRM SC to R/3 PO.Can anyone explain the steps to achieve the above?
Also in case of extended classic scenario,is the attachment transferred automatically from the SRM Local PO to ECC PO?
    Thanks!
    regards,
    SRM Tech

    Hello SRMTECH,
You have to do some configuration settings in SPRO
    SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Define Settings for Attachments.
We are also working for the same requirement. We have did following configuration / customization to achieve this.
    - Activated BADI "BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW" in SRM and set the indicator as follow:
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_storage_cat = 'DMS_C1_ST'.
    cs_ctrl_att-TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'.
    - In ECC Side T.code DC10 and defined document type for SRM with following
Add a New Document Type SRM (if not already exists). Set 'Use KPro', 'Version Assign' and 'Change
Docs'. Set the Internal and External Number Range (02 and 01). Use MCDOKZNR as Number Exit.
Ver No. Incr = 1 and Set the File Size (Usually 10000000 bytes).
Once the Document Type is created, define Object links to PO Item and Pur Req Item. Use - Screen
Number 247 and Screen Number 248 with Valuation Object of EBAN and EKPO for Objects EBAN
(PReq) and EKPO (PO) for Doc Type SRM.
After doing this changes we were able to transfer attachements but we are still facing one issue as we were not able to open that particular document in ECC / R3.

  • Document transfer from SRM to DMS through content server

    Hi Everybody,
In one of scenarios we need to transfer documents attached to the shopping cart line items in SRM to R/3.
For that we followed the following procedure.
1.In the SRM to R/3 system, the attachments are driven by the BADIs.
2.In the BADI, if we define DMS_C1_ST as the storage category for R/3 Database, the DMS should work
3.The existing DMS, the customized content server is Z_DMS.
4.Using SRM (with Z_DMS)we are able to create the Document Info Record
5.The attachments are not reflected in DMS (driven through SRM)
6.When the attachments are added in the DMS manually, DMS works perfect
I am thinking there might be some configuration required in content server for the conversion of original application files.
If anybody have the solution for this please post here.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh.

  • Attachments at header level from SRM BI/BID  to ECC PO

    Hello All,
Our landscape is SRM 5.0sp09 & backend ECC 6.0.
    SRM tech scenario - CLASSIC
SRM business scenario - Sourcing with Bid Invitation
We have set up DMS in ECC and are now able to transfer item level attachments from SRM BI and BID to ECC follow-on PO.
Our customer desires header level attachments since they want to avoid DMS maintainance.
We have checked this with sap OSS and the responce was---
<b>this is a limitation/desired behavior. SRM is not
passing the attachments as the same cannot be viewed at header level in
PO(as indicated by you). Hence only the item level attachments are
passed. I am not sure if the same is taken care in SRM 6.0.</b>
Our customer is still insisting for header level attachments.
    Can anybody give relevant inputs?
    BR
    Dinesh

    Hi Dinesh,
I am not sure about the exact technical details of the same. But i just know that SRM50 will not support this functionality. Sorry that i am not able to help you in this regard
Hope we will get some other reply here....

  • Reading attachments from CFolders(SRM) to ECC(PO)

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to read the attachments from SRM to ECC.
When the bidders bid, they attach files in SRM, these files are saved in the C-Folders in SRM Box.(No DMS)
Now, when the PO is created from the RFx, the attached files should also be transferred.
    1. Is there a direct way by configuration?
    2. If any development has to be done? where should it be done? SRM or ECC?
    3. Can we read the files on runtime or do we need to pull files from SRM and store it in ECC?
    4. BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW: BAdI of any help?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks
    Johnson George.

    Hi,
UNSPSC code is generally passed to R/3 in the MPN fields EBAN-MFRNR (Manufacturer), but you need to take care here as the MFRNR field is 'hidden' and unchangeable. (See note 615722)
So perhaps the usage of a custom field in your case would be easier.
    Regards.
