Attachments: how not to be together with the body msg?

Hi,
I've had a look at previous questions, but wondering if there might be a better alternative to the answers I found so far.
I've started using recently Mail and I'm finding quite unbelievable that it doesn't have an option to keep attachments as 'attachments' and to not embed them into the message. All the email programmes I've used before (either for windows or mac) have the option to keep the attachments separate.
I don't want to send emails as plain text, because our email signatures are in html.
Might not want to compress the file(s).
Tried to choose 'display as icon'... but my colleague (who uses thunderbird) still received the file embedded into the msg and not as an attachment. He could still save it, but is not very obvious the msg has an attachment and had already clients saying that they didn't receive any attachments.
Is there any option, I couldn't figure out yet? Or should consider change the email programme?

no. you can zip the file you are sending. that way they'll show up on the receiving end as attachments for sure.
Or should consider change the email programme?

As Don already pointed out, exactly what the recipient sees will depend on how they've set up their machine and what unnecessary 3rd party apps they might've installed to display attachments the way they want.
In theory, that is true. In practice, Attachment Tamer will cause more of your messages to show up as plain-jane icons on the other end. The problem is, after all, people running Outlook 2003 and 2007. These people likely aren't doing many system modifications.
If I were you, I'd use the free solutions provided above, save my money and let my recipients decide how they will handle their mail.

To use your Apple ID at the iTunes Store
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information, a credit card will be required.
Click Continue when you're done entering your credit card and billing information.

I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.

iCloud only has content purchased (or free) from iTunes. Ripped music or music from other sources is only on your computer. As the iPhone can only sync with one computer at a time you should copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to the new one. It's in the Music folder on the old one, just copy the entire folder to the Music on the new computer. When you first sync your iPhone content will be replaced by the content of the new computer.
You can optionally enable iTunes Match. This searches the non-iTunes content in iTunes or on your iPhone and finds the original digital version on the Internet if it exists. This then becomes your backup. If you have music that it cannot find it will upload it to your cloud storage, but you may have to pay for the storage if it is over 5 GB total (along with your backup). iTunes content and Match content are not included in the 5 GB free limit.
Usually to fix mail issues just delete the account, reset (reboot) the phone by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears, and adding the email account(s) back.

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Hope this helps.

On both devices go to Settings>iCloud>Notes>On. You have to use iCloud as your default account for Notes as well. Settings>Notes>Default Account >iCloud.

It's clearly not a cookie issue..
As for cookies. Quit the App Store. Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder.
Type this exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go the move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store.
