Attachments in Outlook not converting to PDF through Toolbar

I'm running Outlook 2003 (SP3) and Acrobat Pro 9.0.0 on Windows XP (SP3).
I wish to use the Acrobat Toolbar in Outlook to create single PDFs of messages and their attachments.
Although I've selected 'Include all attachments in the Adobe PDF' in PDFMaker, only the message is ever converted to a PDF. Any ideas?

Don't have a clue about the issue. However, updating Acrobat might resolve the problem if it is one of Acrobat. You indicate AA9.0.0 and the current version is AA9.1.3. You should install updates in order (they are generally not cummulative). If that resolves the problem, let us know. If not, then you might want to elaborate further for others who might be able to help.

  • Can't retrieve all attachments in Outlook message converted to PDF

Attempting to use Acrobat X with Outlook 2010 to convert groups of emails with attachments to PDF.  Some of the email messages have more than one attachment.  In those cases, once the email is converted to PDF we can only seem to open one of the attachments.  We can't figure out how to get to all of them, or if this is a bug ( or by design ).  Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.  Googling this was useless.

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 will not convert a pdf to a jpeg

Adobe Acrobat 8 will not convert a pdf to a jpeg. It just gives an error message and shuts down every time I to save it as jpeg. Any advice why this conversion will not work?  I use a PC and run Windows 7.

The Acrobat 8 product family passed into End of Support years ago.
Acrobat 8 is not compatible with today's OSs.
    Be well...

  • I have payed for Adobe acrobat pro but now i can not convert a pdf document to a word format, why?

I have payed for Adobe acrobat pro for one year and it is valid to november 2015, but now i can not convert a pdf document to a word format, why ?

    Hi m_karhulinna,
If you have Acrobat Pro, you can save directly to Word format from within Acrobat by choosing File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.
(It sounds like you may be trying to use the ExportPDF online service, which is separate from Acrobat, and not necessary in your case.)

  • Some fonts do not convert to PDF

I'm using Pagemaker 7.0.1a on WinXP. Some fonts such as Sanvito (open type) and Myriad Pro (true type) appear fine in PM but do not convert to PDF where they appear as X placeholders as shown below. Top group is Sanvito, bottom is Myriad, Times worked OK. On the other hand, they convert just fine when converting MS Word to a PDF. My system uses Acrobat Distiller 7. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Because PageMaker has been a dead program for nearly a decade and is known not to work reliably on the newest OSs, including XP, while Word is still being developed. If I were you, Iwould move on to InDesign while the generous discount upgrade from PageMaker is still available. I wouldn't be surprised if the offer expires when CS5 comes out.

  • What to do when file will not convert a PDF to Word "properly"?

Is there anything I can do when a file will not convert from PDF to Word (for editing purposes)?
It converted some of it fine, but most of it is converted into symbols and letters of some text has been changed.

    Hi Michelle ,
You can simply edit that file in Acrobat itself .
Or if you could brief us little more about your requirements ,we would be able to assist you intelligently .

    Hi nickel13,
What is the problem you are facing?
Is this happening with a single PDF file?

  • Outlook not printing all PDF documents

    Hello,
When I print an e-mail with multiple PDF documents in the attachments, it's not guaranteed all documents are printed.
For example: I get an e-mail with 6 PDF files. I print the e-mail and include the attachments. The e-mail is printed, but not all 6 PDF files. It could be 3, 4 or 5. This means I have to check all pages everytime I print.
Weird thing is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My colleague has the same issue. The problem occurs on multiple printers. Other files like .jpg or Word print with no problems at all. We work with Outlook 2013.
When I print the e-mail I get a pop-up that the document is sent to the printer (this is the actual e-mail). After that Adobe Reader opens en I see multiple messages that the document is sent to the printer. I'm guessing that not all documents are opened properly and that's why they're not printed. Is this a known issue? Because I found a previous discussion for Outlook 2010, but that one remained unanswered.
    Please help me out.
    Kind regards,
    Rense H.

Here's a link to the page in question (although there are other pages as well):
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1787993/Guitar/Page_7_from1.L%26M_Guitar_Manual.pdf
What I found is that if I print to my main printer (HP 4300), the gridlines of the pictures in the middle of the page don't show up.
If I print to the Xerox 6360DT that I have, the picture shows up fine.
There must be a setting in the HP properties that's making it not work but I haven't been able to figur out what the setting is.

  • Will not convert a PDF file to Word

Since Wednesday, 12/10, I have not been able to convert a PDF file to Word.  We have a paid subscription to do that and it looks like our account is active and in good standing.  This is very frustrating.  Who do I contact for technical support.

Sorry, not sure what that means.  Do you mean to convert on the website?  If that is so, it won't convert there either - as I tried this morning.
If mean something else, please forward the website address.
    Thank you, Kathy

  • Acrobat 8.1 Pro .mht And Some .html files Do Not Convert To PDF

Acrobat 8.1 Pro with Windows Vista. .mht files are saved complete webpage single files similar to complete html files except they're as a single file instead of a file and a folder. When using Create From File, Acrobat does not recognize .mht files and will not convert them to PDF. Some complete .html files will not convert using Create from File, even though Acrobat does recognize them.
Also, when I'm logged into a website and want to convert a webpage to PDF using Create From Web, often the resulting PDF document is of the login page and not the page I selected with the error message "can't locate file". These difficult webpages can be converted to PDF using the Print Adobe PDF function, but hyperlinks are not preserved with this function.
I would like to be able to convert all files (including .mht) and webpages to PDF while preserving hyperlinks. Can anyone help me with this?

    Bruce,
mht files are not standard html files. Acrobat will not handle those. If
you are on a website that most be logged into, then Acrobat cannot get
to those files since it is not logged in. You can print to pdf, since
    your browser is logged in.

I have an "Unexpected Error" that means I cannot convert a PDF to XLSX.
Only Day 2 of my subscription. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Any clues? I have converted files successfully. Maybe this one is too big at 2.6MB?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!
Try disabling OCR and converting the file again: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3062

  • Info Field is not shown in PDF by toolbar Print Version button

    Hi Everyone,
    I need your help:
I enhanced 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN to include UserID / DateTime information when Export to PDF and excel.  I added Info Filed in this template and added this new web item in BUTTON_TOOLBAR_2 Button 3 (Print Version) and 4 (Export to Excel).   UserID / DateTime displayng on web is fine and Exporting to Excel is fine also.   Only problem is when clicking on Print Version the UserID / DateTime information is not showing in PDF.   I created a new button to Export PDFand it's working fine.  Somehow just this toolbar button Print Version has issue with Info Field.
Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?
    Thanks, Jin

    Hi Jin.
I have tried using the separate print template method but didn't manage to get it to work (and not very excited about the concept anyway as it means even more web templates to manage).
But I got it to work without using a separate print template, by inserting the InfoField as part of the Filter Area (because I didnt want it displayed in the face of the Web when the report was run initially). But it seems to be that as long as the InfoField is displayed somewhere in the Web, then it can be exported/printed. Having done the data binding step, obviously.
You mind if I pick your brains (offline) re the print template method?
    Patrick
    (points if that helps?)
