What kind of error is this. Somebody Knows? After copying two GB of music in my IPOD. Today I have problems with the last song, so that I disconnect my IPOD from Windows. When I connected it all my music was erased! Unbeliveble. Now I'can't copy other song, because always appears this error message -36. It's so difficult to manage this IPOD? I somebody help me. This also happened to me and I was fuming especially after they got me to send it in for repair only to send it back in exactly the same condition, saying it was MY computer that was the prob not the fault of the iPod (after having 4 out of 5 iPods break down through no fault of my own I was somewhat sceptical). After realising that Apple do not care one jot for their customers once the deal has been done, I went to an electrical store and bought a firewire with USB 2.0. This sorted out the problem althought it only took the new USB rather than the firewire to resolve this. So, although I had to pay another £30 on top of the £300 odd originally, I finally have a 60 GB photo that works. Good luck ...

It's usually a corrupt file. I experienced this just today when trying to burn a disk of iTunes purchases. I kept getting that error and when I looked more closely, it kept stopping at the same song file. Turns out one of the downloads was corrupt.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

I'm investigating cause of a wedged wiki this morning. The MacMini (10.7.5) was working well for the last year but we're not sure when it gave up the ghost.
I've already applied the fixes detailed at Mac OS X v10.5, Mac OS X Server v10.5: Web, Mail, Wiki, Personal Web Sharing, Parental Controls services may not start after restoring a Time Machine backup but it has't helped.
The error we see when we visit the top level of the server is:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Apache/2.2.22 (Unix) PHP/5.3.15 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.22 OpenSSL/0.9.8r DAV/2 Server at sacmini.local Port 80
The message in the httpd error logs is:

Copy File Fails error

I have a Pavilion dm4 and it is telling me that my Hard Drive is going to fail.
The original operating system was Windows 7 (64bit), but I 'upgraded' to Windows 8
I have backed up everything on an external hard drive
I purchased a new hard drive: WD Mainstream 500GB SATA 3
I ordered the system recovery disks from HP
Durning recovery I keep getting a 'Copy FIle Fails' error about half way through disk 2 of 3
I have tried several times and it keeps getting stuck
Someone suggested that it might be a BIOS problem, but I don't know how to navigate this tool. ( I have version F.26 I think)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand you are getting a "'Copy FIle Fails" error on the second disc when you are trying to recover after a failed hard drive. I have checked the HP Pavilion dm4 Entertainment PC Maintenance and Service Guideand on page 2 it lists a 500 GB, 7200 rpm hard drive as compatible with your system. I am more inclined to believe there is something wrong with the recovery disc. If this is the case I would encourage you to contact HP technical support to see about getting the second disc replaced. Be sure to explain to them as you did here. Below is the contact links for HP Technical Support if you need them.

When a file url is clicked instead of asking for Save or Open or Cancel options, the file gets opened on IPad by default.
Is this default behaviour which cannot be changed or can it be configured to ask user preference?
When we try to download a file(.pvw file -> a model file) in the above application, safari throws "Download failed" error.
Please suggest what needs to be done.

Safari on an iPad in general does not allow downloading of files. That's a safety precaution in the iOS SDK to keep unauthorized content off of iOS devices. Safari will open from the web site file types that it can handle, but direct downloading isn't normal behavior, and I don't believe the behavior can be changed, though you can try asking in the developer forum, either here or the one to which you have access as a member of Apple's iOS developer program.

You might try reading the entire help document you linked from:

Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. FollowiTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

The log file indicates there are permissions issues on a couple of files and they are not being removed. This is preventing the installation of the new version. Please run the uninstaller, posted here Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, and post an updated FlashInstall.log file, and a screenshot of the files remaining in the /Macromed/Flash directory after running the uninstaller. Please only run the uninstaller and do not attempt to re-install at this time.

While YOU may not have attempted to jailbreak the phone, SOMEONE ELSE did. Error 1015 occurs by attempting to restore a previously jailbroken phone.
It's very likely you may NEVER get your phone out of recovery mode and your phone may be rendered permanently bricked.
Terms of Use of this forum prohibit the discussion of jailbroken phones. You'll have to scour the internet for a solution to your problem, if indeed one exists.

Try this:
Open your picture file
Access the clone stamp tool
Hold down the ALT key on the keyboard and left click on the area from which you wish to clone, then release the ALT key, and click to place the pixels at the destination
TIPS:
It is a good idea to open a blank layer at the top in the layers palette, and do the cloning on this layer. Be sure that "sample all layers" at the top is checked. You can change the layer opacity if necessary
Use the bracket keys next to the letter p on the keyboard to increase & decrease the size of the cursor
Let us know how you make out with the error message now.
