Attempting to install iTunes 10.4 - when I click 'Download Now' nothing happens. What do I do?
I'm trying to install iTunes 10.4 on my new MacBook Pro, but when I enter my email address and click 'Download Now' all I get is a page that says "iTunes. That's Entertainment." The download doesn't start and there's nothing to click on. What do I do?
Not sure if this is your problem, I have come across this on a number of occasions when I put the files.
The problem occurs when I have Local view selected and the files are uploaded to the Testing server rather than the Remote server. In this case, I first select Remote server, wait until the files panel has been populated, then go back to Local view and put my files.

what version of iPHoto do you have? Of the OS? is the iPhoto icon you are speaking of in the Dock?

Somehow my "IPhoto" icon now says "Preview". When I click on "Preview" nothing opens up except the bar says Preview. When I click on the Preview on the bar, a box opens up with different items, except when I click on any of them, there is nothing there. The only thing that work is the "quit preview". However, it is still there where my IPhoto icon should be. I can't get into my IPhoto. How do I get rid of this "Preview" and how did it end up taking over the IPhoto icon???
If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?

What if you try renaming both the SLCache and SLStore folders prior to launching Lightroom?

If you'd like to change permissions first as a test, then renaming the folders and report back the findings of both methods, that'd be great!

I have ios7.1.2 on my iphone and am trying to upgrade to 8.0.2. I haven't installed 8 yet and when I try and upgrade nothing happens. It says ios8.0.2 improvements from 8.0.1 are available but not the whole ios. What to do?
It sounds like maybe 8.0.1 has downloaded onto your phone but not installed. You can check for it in Settings > General > Usage > Storage, Manage Storage. If it's there you should see it at the top of the list of apps. Swipe to delete it. 8.0.1 was pulled by Apple quickly after it was introduced due to issues and replaced by 8.0.2. Once it's deleted you should be able to download and install 8.0.2.

Those Apps listed in the iTunes Apps library will only work with iOS devices. They are not designed to work on your Macbook Air system. -
When I open iTunes, it asks me to download the latest version. When I click on "download now", nothing happens. If I download directly from the iTunes website, do I need to do anything first? Like deleting something?
In the normal course of events, you can update by just running the iTunesSetup.exe. No special precautions need to be taken (beyond those you usually take with an update, or just in general, like maintaining a current backup).

First of all, I do not have an Apple anything. I just down loaded ITUNES onto my HP dekstop computer. It went in with no trouble. I also paid, and downloaded Miss Kitty Slot Machine App. It was downloaed, it says. But, when I click on it, nothing happens. I am new to all this stuff, what am I doing wrong? PLEASE HELP !!!!!

The items that you can purchase from iTunes in the form of apps are for either an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) or for Mac Computers.
The chances are the app you have downloaded is either written for an iPhone or iPad (iOS device -although even then there can be differences) or for a Mac computer (even then it may be OS version specific)
In a search for "Miss Kitty Slot" in iTunes I found this
It says it is an iPhone App.

Ever since I installed an application (a Ringtone maker) downloaded from App Store now I can't transfer music to my iphone 4S?
I know I have to use Itunes, I could do it before but now nothing happens. Although I followed the instructions given in the Help Video for that application nothing happened, no ringtones were loaded, and all my music disappeared.
Please help!!!

Connect your iPhone to your computer. In iTunes, select your iPhone in the left bar. In the middle screen, go to the tab 'Music' and see if the Sync music box is checked.
If it is checked, you can select the music you want on your iPhone in the screen below.
If it is not checked, you can drag and drop music from your library to your iPhone.
Do the same in the tab 'Ringtones' (not sure if there is such a tab).

everytime i click on the view in itunes button/link on the itunes website so that i can download apps, nothing happens. I accendentally clicked on the button other than open itunes and now i cant fix it
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
