While attempting to install PS Elements 10 I received a corrupt file message and instructed to abort installation. The installation was undone...what do I do next?
Download the PSE10 trial version and use that to install. You can use your purchased serial number to activate it.

I am getting the msg "data corrupted" from windows installer, attempting to install photoshop elements 12. have wiped drive of file and redownloaded but get same results. have run regedit and removed Photoshop elements 12 also with no luck. Went back and installed photoshop elements 10 and prerimer and installed good, I have also installed prerimer elements 12 and the install was ok. I also ran trial version of photoshop 13 without any issues. I am at a lost to what is causing this issue. Any suggestions please.

The error indicates that one or more of the following Shared Technologies failed to install:
Adobe Player for Embedding
Adobe Help
Camera Raw plug-in
Camera Raw profiles
Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit
Adobe XMP Panels
Microsoft Visual Studio runtimes
To resolve these issues, use the Adobe Support Advisor (ASA) to analyze the installation log file. For instructions, see Analyze install logs with Adobe Support Advisor (ASA).
Note: If you are using a downloaded installer, or running the installation from the hard drive, the Shared Technologies can fail because of the installation path. Copy the installation files to a folder to the root of the drive, such as C:\PSE<versionnumber>Installer\, and rerun the installation.

I have installed Photoshop element 12 trail version in my system and i worked also for some days but it given error that "cannot load default brushes because scratch disk is full " but scratch is 158GB free why whats the problem am not getting.That thread helped for a time. But now it seems as though my computer is back to slow again. But, some of the jargon is over my head as well. Not sure I knew quoite everything they were talking about. But thanks a lot for that, it helped I probably just need to reread it and follow the instructions again. Thanks so much.

I have the system "windows 8.1". When I try to install Photoshop Elements 9 I became the error Message; Photoshop can't be install, I need the Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. The setup will be closed.
There is a problem with IE10+ in that it is mistakenly seen as being IE1. To get around this either use a different browser or use compatibility view (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-10)

My current iPhoto'11 version is the 9.2.1 one. I just attempted to install the 9.2.3 update, but all I got was an Alert sign stating that "iPhto 9.1.0 or later is required to install this update." I then tried to download the 9.1.0 update, with the same fruitless results. What can be wrong here?
Put iPhoto back into the Applications folder, not in any subfolders, and ensure it's named iPhoto or iPhoto.app.

Are you using the new Mavericks OS? If you upgrade to 10.9 with the application already installed the old prefs will have been left behind; so you need to clear them. Start by quitting PSE9.
Launch Finder and click the Go menu whilst holding down the Option (alt) key. Then go to Library >> Preferences and clear everything relating to PSE9 which usually means deleting the following files:
com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist
Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 Paths
Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 Settings

Installed Windows 8 on a late 2011 MacBook Air and was working fine now keyboard not working so cannot enter password? Caplocks key works but I am locked out on my own PC and cannot seem to get it to recognize built in keyboard,bluetooth,generic USB one.
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -
after downloading i-clouds I keep receiving a no service message and phone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.
I have read several questions on this but dont see a solution.Activation requires a SIM, assuming the SIM is functional it should simply activate.
The vast majority of activation issues are the result of devices that have been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here. -
I'm on Vodafone, but can't make or receive calls. Viber, messaging and the Internet work fine. I've an iPhone 4. Any ideas?
Did you activate roaming before going abroad?
Click on EE & ME and where it says My Account, click on Devices and Usage and enable it from there, cllick on EE & ME and where it says travel and shopping click on using phone abroad.

This might just be a typical Mountain Lion network glitch..
Reboot the TC.. that is usually enough to fix it.
Otherwise restart the whole network from off.. Reboot items in correct order.
Modem.. TC.. computer. 2min gap.
Tell us if that doesn't fix it.
