Attempting to use previously purchased product

I purchased Dreamweaver at version CSS. 5 several years ago, and went to reinstall it and found that I was unable to enter the product code. I have to install it as a trail. I know many will say purchase the new version, but I'm on a fixed income and it is cost prohibited for me do do so. Since Adobe has no support number or email support, I thought my best bet was the forum. Can someone please help! Thank you in advance,

First of all, there is no compulsion for you to buy the latest version if you do not want to.

I purchased several Creative Suite products on line to deploy on various desktop and laptop computers, one of which was inside paralels on an iMac. When the iMac system software was upgraded, it ate my parallels. I've now upgraded to a macbook pro and reinstalled a completely new version of the latest parallels/windows and want to restore my windows CS 5.5 -- and it's not there. Having just sprung for new parallels and windows, I was going to wait before upgrading to CS6 -- not to mention that if it's showing that I haven't any previous purchases, how can I just "upgrade?" The "product" site doesn't show any of myprevious purchases for both macs and pcs. Has anyone else encountered this and how did you resolve?

I purchased and downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 in 2008. I have to wipe my harddrive this week and want to be able to reinstall Photoshop when I'm done. Is this possible?

Savage*Cats I am not aware of any sources for Photoshop Elements 7 installation files. If you no longer have access to the installation files then you will want to look at upgrading to the current version of Photoshop Elements. Have to purchase new license to use previously purchased CS2

I'm surprised that nobody was shocked or had anything to comment about my issue with CS2. I know it's 2 versions back, and I'm currently running CS3 production studio and CS4 design premium, so it's not like I don't like to update. I called about a licensing issue, and the nice lady in India told me I would have to purchase CS4 becuase that is the new version and I'm currently 2 versions behind. In other words, I would have to buy another license in order to activate the license I already purchased? Yes was the response I recieved.
I know it sounds all very crazy, and I wish I were calling from my cell phone so I could have recorded the conversation, but if this is something that anyone else has had an issue with, wil you please let me know how to get around it. I have friends who know how to crack the license, but I'm not like that. I would just like to run this software that I've purchased.

I suggest you get that AppleCare plan cancelled and refunded because you shouldn't have been able to buy it for an iPod that's out of warranty. It must be bought during the initial 12 month warranty.
Then, you'll need to get a new AppleCare plan for the new iPod.

I need to redownload adobe photoshop elements 6.0 and adobe premier elements 4.0 after installing windows 8. The product shows up in my registration page but notin the order history.

I don't think they have the info that far back, though. and that brings up anotehr point: Your software is - erm, well - extremely retro, to put it mildly. It won't work on Win 8. So just to spare you trouble and aggravation you might consider simply downloadin the current Elements products and then buy them when the trial runs out...

Transferring a Previously Purchased Product to a New Computer without Disk Drive

I've recently upgraded computers from an iMac to a Macbook Pro with Retina (which has no disk drive). I need to transfer my Adobe Photoshop CS5 to my new computer - but have no way of installing it since there is no disk drive. Where can I find a download of Photoshop CS5 so I can complete my transfer?

Yeah I do expect some of that as well but I had this program running happily on my last laptop and it is all the same OS (Win 7) and all but just no disk drive to load it from. If I was moving to a new OS then I could see it but this is just a fact of downloading a file. I tried to copy over the program from my back-up drive but it will not accept it. Its a planned obsolescence I suppose but a program from a reputable company that is still working on current OS systems should be supported or at least available for download. They just want our money.

I then installed a purchased product from Adobe disc using the serial number on the case. But when I try to launch it, I get a screen headed Photoshop CS5 Extended Trial. It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired. It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product". It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed. How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

That way, should you lose it or you need support, it is on record that it's yours and you can fetch your s/n it from anywhere.
There are too may sad stories here, where people forgot and the box is buried or lost.

Now that hotmail is joined with Skype, I changed my email address to Gmail and then updated the information for my AppleID. Now when I view the purchase History using the new email

I can only view recent purchases and furthermore I cannot print the list of items purchased. I have been able to download / update previous purchases and download them again by signing in with
my previous AppleID information but I want to know how I can transfer the information to my new account. Another problem I am having is that it shows there are 3 pages of purchases but I cannot view the 3rd page.

You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.
If your old ID was compromised and you can no longer access it, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance. In attempting to "update"/reinstall many of my previously purchased apps, a "download" feature does not appear, only an "open." I am only be able to access them via the iTunes/App store - I can open them, but not reinstall them. Am I doing something wrong? (I have a 4s, which was just updated to 6.)

All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps.
In order to install an app update with the iTunes account that was used to download the apps, you must use that iTunes account and password.

You don't have to repurchase CS5. If you still have the old computer, you should open one of the CS5 applications and choose Help > Deauthorize to remove using that computer from your license.
