Attn: Adobe Received CS6 license Key - Never purchased CS6

Hopefully this is the right forum group to post this.
I tried calling Adobe Support today three times to alert them to either Adobe sending out Free CS6 license keys or a scam email and gave up after 3 telephone disconnects:
1st call was quickly disconnected. 2nd call I spoke to a gentleman who transferred me to customer service where I was disconnected before reaching anyone. And a 3rd time when I spoke to a woman in Adobe customer service and was disconneted after explaining the problem. I wish Adobe would fix their telephone disconnections.
Problem is: Today I received a email from a sender simply listed as ADOBE. The email which I did not open contains "License Key" attachment. If I hold my cursor over the email it is thanking me for purchasing CS6.
I have not purchased CS6 yet (I still have CS5.5 Production Premium which I purchased last September).

                     Subject line reads "License Key"
                      Email shows attachment to it.
                      when I hold my cursor over the email in my inbox it shows preview text thanking me for purchase of CS6 and states my license key

I have CS6 Master Suite installed along side my now-expired Creative Cloud apps (I am evaluating whether to renew my subscription at this time). Figured this one out from another thread, after which I was able to sign in again with my Adobe ID and my software was ready to use:
Windows:
Delete these folders
SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Mac:
Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Lost InDesign CS6 License Key

I had a web designer's desktop crash on her. She had all CS6 applications. I can find keys for all the applications, except InDesign. The previous IT staff didn't do a very good job of documenting or saving keys and did a lot of "one off" retail purchases, so I haven't been able to find a login that has this license attached. Is there ANY way I can find that key stored on the filesystem? I'm going to have some really angry people if I have to purchase a whole new license.

I am unable to recover the license key of Dreamweaver CS6. I lost the box and I can't remember the account that was used to activate the software. Basically, I need to transfer the current license from one computer to a new computer, but since I can't find the license key I am not able to do it.

Adobe PSE 9 license id if purchased via app store?

I bought Adobe PSE 9 via app store on my macbook. Where can I find the license id? I need it to also use Adobe PS Organizer.

Thanks for your reply. Organizer, downloaded from Adobe, would be satisfied with a PSE license id. I think having paid for PSE, it makes sense that Organizer would work, even though it is not part of the app.

Sorry you can't send your keycode out, it's for your use only. On the Crystal CD in the Doc's folder and should also be on your hard drive you will find a license.pdf file. Here's the part that affects you:
4.2.4 Distribution of Client Applications. Business Objects grants you a personal, nonexclusive, limited license to Distribute Client Applications to end users, if you comply with all of the terms herein, including without limitation section 4.2.6. If you Distribute Client Applications utilizing the RCAPI (u201CRCAPI Applicationsu201D), you must also acquire a licensed copy of Crystal Reports Developer for each customer to whom you distribute that Client Application.
Bottom line is they must purchase a copy of Crystal Reports Developer for themselves to be licensed to run your application. Other option is you can call our Sales department and discuss purchasing the same for distribution, if your expected numbers are high enough you could join our OEM Partner group. Sales team can discuss more if you go that route.

I should mention before you go that way that XI is no longer being shipped so you should upgrade to XI R2 and the next problem is the Embeddable Report designer as well as it's conterpart has been deprecated meaning as of CR 2008 craxdrt (RDC) is no longer being shipped and the craxddrt ( embeddable designer ) which you are using is no longer supported as a development report engine. It's shipped but will not be licensed for anyone to use. It's only there to create reports in the .NET IDE.
Your option is to move to .NET and RAS ( Report Application Server ) which has report creation capabilities but the "Designer" part you have to create yourself.

License key is invalid or has expired

I am trying to add a user via the CMC and receive the following error:
There was an error while writing data back to the server: Your license key is invalid or has expired. If you received a temporary license key by purchasing another BusinessObjects product, you must register BusinessObjects Enterprise to receive your permanent license key.
This is a new installation and I am trying to create my first user. I am brand new to Crystal Reports server and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

customercareamericas @ businessobjects.com (no spaces) should be able to assist you with acquiring a new keycode. Once received, remove the old one and enter in the new one. Please be sure to specify the product version you have deployed.

Replace one InDesign license key with another

I work for a software integration company that has helped a customer install InDesign CS 5.5 in a terminal server environment.
InDesign CS 5.5 was installed with a license key obtained from Adobe for X number of users.
Now the customer has obtained from Adobe a new license key for Y number of users.
I cannot find any information on this website or searching the wider web on how, exactly, to get this installation of InDesign CS 5.5 to run with the new license key instead of the old one.
Does anyone know how to do this?

As a practical matter, I don't think it matters too much. There's a certain amount of the "honor system" in volume licensing keys, and the real point is that you paid for the number of seats you are using. If the program doesn't complain about it, I would not spend too-too much time worrying about it.
It's not clear to me if your Y includes your X or not; that is, was X=100 and you added 200 seats and now X=100 and Y=200? Or X=100 and Y=300?
Volume licensing key activations aren't any different from regular license key activations, you can still uninstall (or deactivate, I believe) and install with a new key.
But your "terminal server" environment may complicate the situation if Y does not include X. You could have two seperate installs of ID, or you could have ID installed with either X or Y but not both.

License key request for Minisap Trial system

Hi everyone,
I was trying to receive a license key for my minisap NSP - SAP NetWeaver 7.x (Windows /MaxDB) using the link http://www.sap.com/minisap. I do get the message that my request has been submitted successfully but I don't receive any email. I did try several times in the last few days.
Does anybody know if there is any problem with that link currently?

I have received the license key for MiniSap. I have downloaded the license key file to my local system. Please tell me how to upload this file to the SAP system. I am using Windows XP (SP2) and the MiniSap edition is 6.10 WA1.
I have to tried to directly enter the license key through transaction code Slicense but got the error "Incorrect Parameter Specified". I also tried to install through OS level but even could not do so. I have ordered key 5 times, none works on either SAP level or the OS level.
Somebody told me to upload the file, Please Guide me how to upload license key file to the SAP System.

Very late into the reply. But I am sure someone will run into this issue again -
In windows cmd prompt, navigate to c:\mbs.
Then type saplicense.exe -install then follow the prompt.
NOTE: If you get the following error -
C:\MBS>saplicense.exe -install
*** SAPLICENSE (Release 46D) ERROR ***
    ERROR:   Can not set DbSl trace function
    DETAILS: DbSlControl(DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNS_SET) failed with return code 20
    RC-INFO: error loading dynamic db-library - check environment for:
             dbms_type = <db-type> (e.g. ora)
             DIR_LIBRARY = <path to db-dll> (e.g. /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run)
Type"C:\MBS>dbenv.cmd", once it is done. simply retype
saplicense.exe -install then follow the prompt.

I have downloaded the trial version of e-Test from empirix website today but haven't received any license key for the trial period. No emails have been sent to the specified email address. I have sent a request to [email protected] (with the host id ) requesting a trial key.
Is there any other way to get a trial key?

Your serial number is for version 5 and not for Lightroom 6. If will install LR 6 you have to buy a update and the you get a new serial number.

If I purchase Photoshop CS6 Extended (student edition) from B&H website, will I receive the Adobe license keys? I tried this at another university bookstore locally and could not make this work. Got the impression Adobe is no longer providing keys to download this package. Help please.

If that is the case and Customer Service has no idea of what you were given as a Product Key and how to use it, have you considered asking
your question in the seller's forum (PC software section)?
But, I have another idea for you to try first....are you involved in a student teacher purchase with prepaid card? If so, please click on the following link
