Attributes are not saved in CRM using APD

Hello experts, I have trouble recording the attributes marketing from BW to CRM. APD use to record data, the log of APD ends in green but when I go to transaction BP in CRM data are not.
Anyone can help me, thanks!

Extended VO Attributes are not saved

Hi,
I build new Extend VO based on EO.
I add 2 attributes in the VO query.
The problem is that those attributes values are not been saved.
when i look in the attribute mappings Tab i can see the mapping is incorrect.
I try to fix it but it always keep mapping them to wrong attributes.
Please help with that issue!

Thanks for your replay.
My need is to add 2 attributes to VO based on EO, to enable entering additional info, with some fields validations.
My plan is to Extent the VO adding those 2 attributes, create items through Personalization and eventually add validition in the Exstended controller.
i verify that the VO EO includes the new attributes.
so i did the following:
1. Extent the VO - Create VO Sustitution, adding attributes in the VO Query.
2. Deploy the VO
3. Create Page personalization - create 2 items, connected to the Extended VO
When i Enter the VO in the application i can see the new attributes with db selected values, But when i try to update them the change not been saved.
I check the attributes mappings and see that the mapping is incorrect.
I try to remapp the attribute to the correct ones from the EO but is always keep the wrong mapping.
i assume that i can add some logic in the controller to set those attributes but i think that this can be done in the VO attribute mapping?

Changes in object spesific z attributes are not saved

zz_created_by TYPE crmt_created_by
zz_changed_by TYPE crmt_changed_by
zz_creation_time TYPE comt_created_at_usr
zz_change_time TYPE comt_changed_at_usr
The change accures in the save event of the overview in bt116h_srvo
I'm getting the context node itself of the details view using the subcontroller method and then getting the bol itself from the view.
I'm changing the data in the bol before the save take place.
The problem is that my change does not succed, the value stays blank. what even more weird is that when I use the setter
of the attribute on the screen it is changed and being saved succesfuly.
Can you please guide me the right way?

Yes they were made from UI itself (and not by me which makes it more difficualt to know if the problem cause is from there).
I looked in the GENIL_BOL_BROWSER on the attributes and they seem to be exactly as other attributes (Z created and SAP created).
I didn't understand what you mean by modify & save, I'm modifying the object before I call the super class to save the changes. (The save event of the overview)

What modification are you talking about? I didn't quite understand, can you rephrase it?

The object returns true that it is changeable and I can see the attribute changed. but as soon as the save take place and I'm back to the UI the changes does not appear. And when I check the object again (either from the gneil_gui_bol_browser or from a stop in the UI event) it is still have empty fields.

Hi Shijo,
Is this affecting only one 7942 IP phone or all of them? if this is affecting all then you may try ta firmware upgrade. If this is only affecting one of them then you can compare the settings of this phone with the working ones or try setting the phone to factory defaults.

I too experienced the same issue. Here are my details:
Recently I bought a 15” Macbook Pro and last night I tried to connect and use a Edirol FA/66 Firewire 400 connected outboard audio interface using a Firewire 400 to 800 adapter then connected to a Firewire 800 to Thunderbolt adapter since the MBP doesn’t have a native Firewire port. What I observed is that the Edirol was not getting power from the bus nor did the MBP (running Yosemite) recognize the Edriol. At first I thought there was a problem with the Edirol since I haven’t used it in a while but when I connected it to an older MBP that has a native Firewire port, it worked normally. Is there a known issue with these sorts of external audio interfaces working properly with newer MBP running Yosemite? I’m hoping that a software update will fix this issue.

Please ensure you click on Tables and Synonyms check box and select proper schema.
Try to select the table from the list after this instead of writing as in 10.1.3 when we write table name it automatically selects from the list if it exists in the list.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
If you have software like Advanced SystemCare (Surfing Protection feature) that might reset some files to older versions to protect these files against changes then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Customized Setting of External Applications are NOT saved if using templates

We are using templates and on the template we have put the "External Application" portlet .
Now if normal user tries and customize this portlet then these settings are not saved.
Like user want's to see only 2 applications so he checks only 2 applications but these settings are not saved and portal still shows 5 applications to that user.

I haven't seen this problem. Please report it to Oracle Support.

Delta changes in R/3 sales document are not coming into CRM

Hi Middleware experts,
We are on CRM 5.0 SP 005 with ECC 5.0 SP 007 and using the scenario X for sales documents replication.
Now the order is created in CRM and successfully transfered to R/3. I can see 3 Bdocs in SMW01 with green lights. First Bdoc says 'R/3 adapter is called', second Bdoc says 'the order is successfully saved' and displays a warning 'The sales document is not yet complete: Edit data' and third Bdoc has no messages. Also I do not see any struck queues in CRM and in R/3
I am able to edit the sales document in both the systems as per the scenario X. Now I have completed and saved the document in R/3. Surprisingly these changes are not coming into CRM and no new entries in SMW01. Also R/3 SMQ1 and CRM SmQ2 doesn't show any entries. I am also not able to debug, since I do not see any Bdocs in SMW01.
Now, if I changes the document in CRM and these changes are coming into R/3.
Also all documents created in R/3 are successfully going into CRM including delta changes in R/3.
I do not have any clue on what is happening? Highly appreciated, if you can help me.

Hi PK,
In R3AC1 only we put the filter. So if you do not have any other filter then make sure that you are changing the order which was created not before the date mentioned.
I would recommend you to just deregister the CRM system in R/3 Transaction SMQS and do some changes in the orders and check any queues are getting created corresponding to that order, If yes that means filter is not an issue. Then debug the queue and find the exact problem. Also make sure that the order you are changing in R/3 is of the same order type what you have mentioned in the filter.
Make sure to registor back the CRM other wise all the queues will get stuck in R/3 outbound.

CRM sales order is not saved in CRM but in ECC

Hi,
I am new CRM area and will not some hints on where to check.
When the the Sales orders are successfully created in CRM, they are replicated to R/3 but the sales orders are not saved in CRMD_ORDERADM_H table of the CRM system.
Also, I dont know see any details of the sales order in the interaction record document flow.
Can you please help me with any hints on where to check to fix this issue..

In CRM you can have two scenarios for ERP Sales Order.
1. ERP Sales offer and Sales order, using the CRM User Interface to create directly the ERP Sales Documents with LORD interface. The document is only saved in ERP. I believe this the scenario you are using.
2. CRM Sales offer and Sales order, the document is saved both CRM and ERP. The documents are replicated via Middleware.
In both scenarios the interaction record should add the document in the doc. flow, it's probably a missing customizing in the interaction record.

Sent Messages are not saved in Sent Mailbox

It was working correctly but suddenly all my sent messages are not saved in the Sent Mailbox. I follow all the Mail Help instructions but nothing seems to work. Hope that someone can help me. I asked for help on december 14 but it was not helpful

The mailboxes drawer contains all mailboxes under In, Drafts, Sent, Trash and Junk (if you have Junk Mail set to automatic).
If you have a .Mac or IMAP type account, you also have an account named icon for the .Mac or IMAP type account at the bottom of the mailboxes drawer. It is named by the Account Description you provided/entered for the account under the Account Information tab for the account preferences.
If you select save Sent messages on the server for a .Mac or IMAP type account, the account's Sent mailbox will be available under the account named icon in the mailboxes drawer along with all other server stored mailboxes.
To open the account named icon for your .Mac account to reveal the server stored mailboxes including the account's Sent mailbox, select the black triangle beside your .Mac account icon in the mailboxes drawer pointing it down.
Select the account's Sent mailbox and at the menu bar, go to Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For and select Sent.
If you deselect store Sent messages on the server for the account preferences, the account's Sent mailbox will be available under Sent in the mailboxes drawer and you can't use "Use This Mailbox For" for mailboxes stored locally on the hard drive. It can only be used for .Mac or IMAP type account mailboxes that are stored on the server.

Some Sales Orders are not replicating into CRM

when I check SMQ2 in CRM, I find that some sales orders are not replicating into CRM, then check the error, its says check SMW01..
when I check the SMW01 it says validation error and BDOC status is F05 (information no processing). I tried to search the sales order in CRMD_Order transaction could not find the sales order...

It's not giving much clue what's the error is...
I tried to setup a request to replicate those sales orders.. those request also end up in the same error...
any help on this?

Hello Ken,
When reprocessing a BDoc(via SMW01) you might need to set a flag.
Goto trxn. SMW01. Start the debugger using command '/h' and reprocess the BDoc. After going into the debug mode press SHIFT+F7 and put a breakpoint at 2nd Tab in : class:cl_smw_flow and method 'restart_processing'. Keep debugging(F5 or F6 accordingly) until you find the requisite flag l_retry_allowed and set it as 'X'. This will allow you to reprocess the Bdoc.

I have a bluetooth device to connect my phone (Nokia 6233) to PC. When I'm trying to send a message everything goes perfect (the message is sent) only one problem appear: the message is not saved in my phone.

there may be differencies between phone models here (S60 devices or S40 devices, you have S40). Also if I recall right, it used to be so that some older versions of PC Suite did not save the PC sent sms's to phone.
However, with my N95 the messages are saved. So make sure you have the latest Pc Suite and then try again. If it fails, then it might be that message saving is not supported with S40 phones (Anyone having a S40 phone could verify this)

Some sent mails do not appear/are not saved in "sent messages" and are lost

i work with mail and 4 different imap accounts. about every 15th sent email "gets lost". i.e. i can follow the sending process in the activity window, and i hear the sending confirmation tone. and, usually, the mails even reach the receiver. BUT, the mails do not appear/are not saved in the "sent messages" folder and are lost. this is very unsettling, as there seems to be no recognizable pattern. can anyone help, or should i change to "entourage"? big thanks for replies

I, too, have had this intermittent issue and wonder if you had found a solution?
In the past 3 weeks, two messages have been sent from my mac mail account, using the mail application (the only apparent common factor being that both messages had iphoto attachments), the recipients have received them - only I do not have a copy in my 'sent' folder.
They are not stored on the macintosh server either...
I have not altered any settings and this intermittent issue has just emerged.
Any help from 'Top Users' would be welcome. Thanks.
