Attributes in Organisation Model.

Hi all,
I have a general question regarding the Attributes in Organisation Model.
For example: when we Set the attribute of a country to GB or US. It inpact it would
bring...?
Regards,

Hi Usman,
I have used attributes to generally identify the Org Unit.
If you set the country attribute as US, you can check in your implementation  for this attribute value and perform the desired function.
Hoep this helps!

  • Attributes in Organisational Model vs Territory Mgmt

    Hi all,
I'd like to know what is the difference between the organizational attributes and the territory attributes. For instance if I maintain the Country attribute for the function Sales scenario in an organizational unit then I have to do the same thing in attributes of the territory.
Thanks in advance ... regards Roberto

    Kiran
thanks for your response. In these days I'm working on organizational model / territory mgmt.
I'm following the best practices that I found on help.sap.com about CRM 5.0.
In those documents there is only a point of view: the "Organizational Model". I'm not able to find nothing on the territory mgmt.
So it's not very clear when I have to use the territory if I found all attributes for the SALES scenario like Activity Reason, Tupel (channel, division), Country, Ref currency for document, Sales district, and so on.
Through these attributes I'm able to reach the employee (position dependent) and the BP (through these attributes).
Do you have any kind of documentation/best practices that can help me where the argument is the territory customizing?
If I use for instance the division, channel and country in the territory for the partner determination, have I to maintain the same data in the organization model for the sales attributes? If yes, what is the function of these attributes in this kind of situation (with or without R3 integration)?
Thanks in advance for the support

  • Facing problem in adding attributes for sales  in organisation model

    hi i am murali
for my organisation model in sales organisation i want to add division and distribution channel attributes.when i am in ooattrcust
transaction,i found that they were in invisible maintenance and i am not able to change them.please help me

    Hi,
    Please read:
    Orgmodel-- Attributes
    1. Goto T. Code: SM30
    2. Enter T77OMATTR for Table/View and click Maintain Button.
    3. Now Double click on Attributes. Here create your oun Attribute by copying an existing one / Create a New Entry.
Here you also have setting like Multi Values, Default Values etc.
    4. After creating New Attribute, double click on Scenarios and select your required scenario then click on Attributes/Scenarios.
Here you include your newly created Attribute. Here you also have important settings like Inheritance Type, Reg Attr etc.
Alternatively you use T.Code OOATTRCUST instead of SM30.
Once this customization is done you can see your attribute in the Org Model Customization(T. Code: PPOMA_CRM).

  • Determining Partner in Lead transaction thru Organisation  model

    Hello,
I need to determine responsible employee in lead transaction thru Organisation model that I have created . Now I dont want to use the attributes of the organisation as we have some constraints in that I need to determine a partner out of the assignment I have done in Organisation model. eg If BP "0001" is assigned to Org unit A as employee(Holder of a position) is it possible for me to determine the same employee in lead transaction as Employee responsible if I give the input of org unit A in the transaction? If yes pls let me know the steps for doing the same.
    Thanking in anticipation.
    Ambrish

In SPRO Customer Relationship Management > Master Data > Organizational Management > Organizational Data Determination >Wizard for Organizational Data Determination > Create Determination Rule of the Responsibility Type.
There, you assign a name, scenario (Sales or service) and select an attribute for example: SA_RESPORG Responsible organization, then assign Organization unit. After you assign  profile to transaction type Lead.

  • How to show relation attribute on logical model

    Hi.
How to show child entity relation attributes on logical model?
Entity properties attribute list contains relation attributes, LM dont show they.
I have model with several subviews. I need to show some entity without related entities but need to save "semantic" of relations on this subview. When relation attributes does not visible - no information about invisible relations on this subview.
I can create my own visible attribute like "reference to customer" to make sense the relation with entity "Customer". This case problem is relation attribute presents in entity implicitly and relation model have 2 attribute - my own and generated FK column.
In logical model i can`t replace child table relation attribute to my own "visible" attribute.
In relational model i should redefine FK manually. Transformation script is posible but very odd way.
    Any advice appreciated.

    I am confused.
I think the legacy Oracle Designer Barker notation could show reation attributes optional or by default, int`t it?
    Thanks a lot anyway.

  • CRM Organisation Model datasource

    Hi gurus,
can anybody please suggest me what are the datasources for extraction of Organisation Model from CRM? points will be rewarded for helpful answers.

    Hi there,
I encountered the same problems and I was told to read note no. 681722.
The problem isn't solved yet because I'm dealing with it only now but probably this note helps you, too.
It seems you do need datasource 0CRM_HR_PA_OS_1 because the extractor 0CRM_ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER does not deliver e. g. the relation between org unit and user (at the moment I interpret user as "employee"). 0CRM_HR_PA_OS_1 delivers it via transaction data. As I interpret the note you need the transferrules for this datasource and a relevant CRM InfoCube which I have not identified so far.
The note says that one has to extract the relevant master data via 0CRM_ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER, 0CRM_ORGUNIT_TEXT and 0CRM_ORGUNIT_SALES_ATTR ...
    Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Doris.

  • CRM Organisation Model

    Dear All,
I am working on a project where the Organisation model has already been set up and is now in production. The set up by the previous phase has not been done correctly (model is different in every client!)  and I am now trying to find a way to correct the model for our phase. Bearing in mind that the production system does have transaction records using the current org model, can I create a new plan version and then transport to all clients? Will existing transactions continue to reference the previous model? Has anybody any experience of cleaning up this kind of mess! Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dav

    hi there
since u said that u want to begin afresh and want the same set up in all clients
just delete the existing org model in all clients if they don have any further usability, after u delete the org model manually
    run this report
    HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE
it will refresh ur org buffer and all those previous instances will get deleted
also run the t code for indeaxing the org
    CRMD_INDEX_OM
and there give object type as O
it will clear all the stuff ,then u just transport ur new version in all the clients, also when u create ur new org model try through the FM not manually.
    best regards

  • Missing Business Attributes in Org Model

    Hi,
I am working on CRM 5.0 system...In the process of creating Master data... I have created an Org model under that created some Org units.....
In any Org unit of any Org model > under the business attributes tab..... I am not able to see the entries for Division, Distribution Channel, Tupel and some other...
And also I could not see any values for division and distribution channel under BP>Sold to Party Role>Sales Area Data.....
Could anyone tell me what would be the reason.....
Thank you very much for your help in advance....

    Dear Sr,
I hope I got your question right.
I guess the attribute entries (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are invisible in your system. You may check the following:
    Use t.code <b> OOATTRCUST </b>
In the screen that opens select your scenario for which you cant see these entries. i.e. sales, marketing , service etc.
And then double click on the attributes/ scenarios folder from the left hand frame.
You will now see a large list of attributes. See if your attributes (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are made invisible becos of the check box invisible being ticked besides each of them.
If so, uncheck it. You should now see the entries.

  • Can I create and add my own customized attribute in Org.Model?

    Hi,
I have a question on Org.Model. If I have to add my own attribute in the 'Attributes' tab, how can I add one.
    My scenario is like this:
We are using the std Org determination based on employee responsible. But an employee may exist in more than one position in the CRM Org.structure. The ideal scenario would be to have the Org Determination talking place with a combination of Employee Responsible and the Store(customized) partner function.
Please see what guidance you experts can give me. Points will be generous.
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi Fredrick,
I dont think this should be a problem as when a user is assigned to two different org units, and when you are using the rule based to determine org based on the user (standard rule 10000194), the system will pop up to select the relevant org (it will pop up both org units where the user is assigned) and you need to select one that is relevant to you.
This pop comes in transactions when you enter the employee responsible and if the org data profile is assigned to the transaction type.
Hope this clarifies as per my undersatnding of your requirement and reward points if useful.

  • Display of general attributes in Org Model

    Hi Experts,
In my Org Model, in attributes tab the general attributes like division, distribution channel etc are not existing. What is the procedure for them to get displayed in the attributes tab of org model.
    Regards,
    Aielneni Lakshith Rao

There are two possible solutions to your question:
    1.  A simple solution:  in the attributes tab, make sure that you have selected 'SALE' in the attribute maintenance scenario.  If you still do not see the attributes, click the button BELOW the 'Object permitted..' selection field, (a little + sign),  to open all the attributes.  You should then be able to see all the attributes determined for the Sales scenario.
If the above solution does not work, then
    2.  use t-code: /nOOATTRCUST and check if those attibutes exist.  For this select 'SCENARIOS' in the dialog structure and select 'SALE'.  Then open scenarios and in the list of attributes check if distribution, division... exist.
In a normal situation, the first solution should solve your problem.  If you need further assistance, please post a followup to this response.

  • On Organisation Model..

    Hi Experts,
Is this possible to create 3 different organisation( sales, service and marketing) in a single organisation unit. If Yes, then wts the process.
      Kindly reply..
    Thanks..

In ppoma_crm choose your organizational unit and go to tab Function. There you will see 3 different possibilities (Sales, Service, Marketing). just swith between them and define desired flags. there are not mutualy excluded. The same is for attributes. just go to tab attributes and switch between desired scenarios and define needed attributes.
