Attributes not deleted int the Connector View

when an attribute is deleted in the data source, the corresponding attibute is not deleted in the connector view.
For example :
when a mailforwardingaddress attribute is deleted in the datasource entry, it remains visible in the connector view.
Config :
The UTC uses an attribute flow including mailforwardingaddress,
updates are made only from datasource to CV.
no default values, no filter.

MEtadir is not attributes owned but entries owned: to do so, you must create a new AF where the criteria is %operation% = DeleteFromCVtoMV and in flow, you choose attributes you want to see deleted

I create a lot of project folders where i keep all my conversations regarding the project. Once the project is finished i would like to just delete the folder and get rid of all the emails associated with it but when i delete the folder i've noticed that only received messages are deleted. Now I am stuck trying to sort through my sent folder for messages that were returned there after the conversations was supposedly deleted.

Mail/Preferences/Viewing - un-check include related messages, delete the folder, then go back and reset yo include.

If you recently added back your email account it was most likely set up as an IMAP account - renowned for the seamless sync across your device - yes I am being a little sarcastic there - at the technology not at you
The oft recommended way to "force" the email to be POP is to add your email address in there incorrectly - misspelling works fine - and then it asks whether you want a POP or IMAP account
Try that - delete the account - you will not lose your emails in there
Then re add and follow the steps I recommended and see if that solves your issue

It's a POP account. I decided to clean up my mailbox today after noticing the computer was real slow after USA Today started sending their daily top stories with new graphics. Also before I noticed the problem with mail deletion - two things happened. 1) I updated security sofware as prompted by Apple and 2) downloaded Mackeeper and went throught some preliminary scans but did not buy their package. Thanks forn nstaying with me.

OAM-Files do not run in the Content Viewer for Desktop anymore

After updating DPS today animations made with Edge Animate (OAM-Files) do not run in the Content Viewer for Desktop anymore!
What happened there? Any ideas?

I'm using mac OS 10.8.2 and InDesign CS6 CC

I have updated Edge Animate today also with all files working & previewing perfectly within Edge. Upon publishing as OAM files for use in inDesign, the Poster loads as per usual, mark Play on Load interactivity on highlighted content holder as usual BUT when testing in Content Viewer file remains as a static poster image - unable to load animated atributes! I thought perhaps it may be a new viewing option so also uploaded page to DPS Acrobat Workspace & tested & the OAM file has not been assigned as inDesign. This is a massive issue! Our Magazine front cover needs its usual animation. Also tested previous files already live and they too do not view correctly in Content Viewer since update, as well are just a poster image! Adobe need to fix this fast!

Changes in the Dimensions not reflected in the Current View and Excel Sheet

Hi Experts,
We're using BPC MS Platform Version 7.0.112 and we're having problems. When we make changes in the dimension members like adding members or making changes in the hierarchy or groupings, it takes time for the changes to reflect in current view or in the excel sheet. After full processing of the dimension we can see the changes we've made when we reopen the dimension member but when we try to use the member we've added in the template, it's not yet in the current view. I've already tried, full processing of all the dimensions, processing application and reassigning aql index, refresh dimension members and yet the changes we've made doesnt appear in the current view. And what's odd is that sometimes the changes we've made would appear after a day or two or nothing at all.
What could be possibly causing this issue?

Thanks for your response, I'm just wondering whats causing this? We never had this issue on older versions of BPC though, so it would really help if we would know the cause of this. Basicaly when do changes in a dimension, after processing (Full Process, System Offline and Process through member sheet), we just had to set the AppSet status to available and refresh the dimension members in Excel and all the changes would already be visible.

How come when you delete a photo in photo stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the photo stream (iPhone)?

If you upload a photo in the 'Photo Stream Uploads' folder (PC), it is automatically imported to iPhone (via Wi-Fi). How come when you delete a photo from the Photo Stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the Photo Stream (iPhone)?? I mean doesn't iCloud automatically update the changes? thanks.

You cannot delete photos from the photo stream. You can only log into icloud and in your account, you can delete photo stream and start fresh. It is rumored that the next upgrade to iOS will allow deletions of single photos from the stream, but not yet.

Cost Center not flowing in the GL view

Hi Friends,
The users have made the entries in the system and defined the Cost centers in the respective fields, while posting the documents. However, when we run the GL Report thru FAGLL03, we notice that the Cost Centers do not get displayed in the Report. On further checking the documents posted we find that the cost centers are maintained in the 'Entry View' but these do not flow to the GL view. This is resulting in the values not getting picked up in the Report Painter Form which is based on the table FAGLFLEXT. How can we chek and waht needs to be done on the config side to enable the values to be flown in the GL view as well and get maintained in the table FAGLFLEXT.

As advised by Guarav earlier, the cost center scenario has been maintained and in the GL Cost center field has also been included. But still the cost center is not displayed in the GL view.
Is there anything else to be checked in this case.

Hi, Anyone who has this problem: This is now resolved on my phone simply by the prudent timing of the phone software update to 7.1. This update cleared the corrupt map and loaded the original - all my cares went away !! It looks like a Restore would probably work as well, on this basis.

My iPad is double downloading iTunes TV series shows and when I delete, the extra show does not delete from the available memory. I have lost almost 30GB of my 64 to this phantom shows.

I am losing available memory on my iPad (64 GB 3rd gen) and it appears to lose memory because some TV shows that I have downloaded from iTunes are appearing twice in my downloads. Both download, but when Only appear as 1 show on my "videos". After viewing the show, I delete, but the duplicate show appears to be still there somewhere (not visible anywhere) taking up the same amount of memory that showed before downloading. It reduces my available memory to download other shows. The general settings do not show any of these phantom shows taking any memory, but the total available is much, much less than what is showing for all usage such as music, videos, photos, apps, etc
Is it possible to delete a show from the download portion of iTunes if you have already seen a show and do not want to waste time or memory downloading again? The only way that I know is to let it download completely and the delete from "Videos".

My requirement is:
To create a view in the standard component : BT301i_lam (Financial service item level).
For this i followed following steps:
1> Added item component through EEWB.
2> Enhanced the component BT301I_LAM to add a custom view which will show the required details created through EEWB.
3> Now problem is , after view creation , the "CONFIGURATION" tab is not visible in the view.
    Also , in the runtime repository (where i can add my view to the overview page) i am not able to find the view.
Can anyone please tell me on where i went wrong.Please also provide the correct steps to add a custom view so as to show attributes added through EEWB.

Dimension Attribute not related to the key directly or indirectly.

I am running into an issue when trying to relate two fact tables to a dimension using two different attributes. Due to the design of the tables I must join from my fact tables to intermediate tables in order to join to the dimension table. The
problem is the fact tables use different intermediate tables to join to the final dimension table.
For example: FactTable1-->IT1-->DimensionTable<--IT2<--FactTable2
The intermediate value from the first table is a foreign key to the dimension table and the intermediate value from the second table is also it's own foreign key to the dimension table.
Below is some test code to put my problem into SQL. It's simple enough to join them together but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to properly set up the relationships between attributes in SSAS.

It depends on the cardinality between the two Fact Tables and intermediate tables. If they are 1 to 1 relationships then you can simply create a view of the fact and intermediate table and then create a direct relationship to the dimension. A more
efficient solution would be to alter your ETL to just insert the appropriate dimension key directly into the fact table instead of using the intermediate ID.
You can join fact tables to dimensions at different levels of granularity. eg you could join one fact table to a date dimension at the day level and another at the month level. You just have to consider what you want to happen to the monthly data when viewed
at a daily level, you can either repeat the monthly value or display a blank or look at overriding the value with some sort of calculation.
If the relationship between the facts and intermediate tables is many to many then there is an excellent white paper called the "Many to Many Revolution" which shows all the different ways in which many to many relationships can be used in SSAS.

Keyfigure display attribute not visible in the report

I am facing a problem. I have <b>keyfigures as display attributes</b> in my master infoobject. Earlier I was able to see those <b>display keyfigure attributes</b> in my query and was able to use them in it. After that, few changes were done to the master infoobject (addition of few attributes and deletion of few - but none of them were what I was using). Now after the change, when I open the query in design mode, it gives me error saying that it can't access those attributes (only keyfigure display attributes) and repairs the query (removes those attributes). All the other attributes are visible.
I have already tried rsrv for the master infoobject (corrected the error) and rsrt for the query. After that also it doesn't solve the problem.
What could be the reason? Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
Display keyfigure attributes are visible in the reports because I was using and running them in the reports before the change in that particular master infoobject. Only, keyfigures maintained as attributes can't be made navigational (hence can't be used for drilldown). Its only after the change, there is this error.
I had also checked the authorization for Keyfigure earlier, which I have. Therefore its not the problem.

PUBLICOBJECT_ARRAY attributes not deleted

I have defined a new Document which contains an attribute of type PUBLICOBJECT_ARRAY.
Then I have inserted new objects by using a Java application which makes use of IFS API.
I've inserted also values for the PUBLICOBJECT_ARRAY attribute.
Then I've deleted the object using the web interface .
The result was that IFS deleted the object but the database is still keeping references
to the ApplicationObjects stored in the array attribute (ODM_PUBLICOBJECT table).
So it looks like an incomplete deletion.
This behaviour constrained me to declare also the Server class for the Document,
overriding the extendedPreFree function in order to delete first the application objects stored in the array attribute.
The second surprise was the fact that the function extendedPreFree wasn't even called during the deletion of the main object.
I've declared the server class using the standard way :
