ATV "Not Connected" in iTunes After V2.0 Upgrade!

Before the update was available my ATV was not showing up in iTunes ... Many had this problem.
After installing the upgrade ATV shows up in iTunes 'Devices' list, in Prefs Sharing status is 'on, no users connected', ATV shows as 'ATV streaming'.
There are no other setup items to remedy this situation that I can find ... I've reset, unplugged, and restarted everything.
Any help would be appreciated.

  • IPhone will not connect to iTunes after ios 7.1.2 update

I was updating my iPhone 4s to the new software update (ios 7.1.2) and my computer fell asleep. My iPhone now is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen and when I plug it into my PC iTunes will not connect to it.
I've tried putting it into recovery mode (won't allow me to slide to power off), and I've tried iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
I've also tried rebooting my computer, updating iTunes and enter DFU and Recovery modes
When plugged in my device manager recognizes that an apple device is plugged in that is in recovery mode....
I'm trying to back up my phone while it has the most recent software so I can transfer it onto my new 5s
    Please help!!

    Windows 7

    You've tried the following procedure?
Turn your device off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your device and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a device in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
If this still doesn't work, you should make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have your device evaluated.

  • No Connection to ITunes  after 4.3 Upgrade

Upgraded to 4.3 and now I can't connect to ITunes and the "Not Charging" warning is on during the charging cycle. The iPad is truly being charged but at a much slower rate. The "not being able to get to ITunes " is a real problem. I've tried two different authorized "PCs" and neither work. The USB connection is not being made so the PC doesn't attempt to connect to the ITunes site. Any thoughts??????

Reset your iPad by holding the Wake/sleep button and the Home button simultaneously for 10+ seconds. Ignore the red power off slider. After your iPad restarts try connecting with USB cable to iTunes.

  • Apple TV not connecting to iTunes after  computer sleeps FIX

I've tried everything over the course of several months and this one looks to be the FIX.
    Fix:
    1.   Open "System Preferences".   ( computer only), (Windows computer unknown)
    2.   Open "Network".
    3.   Click on the "Sprocket with down arrow".
    4.   Select "Make Service Order"
    5.   Move the connection your using (Wifi, Ethernet, etc.) to the top, and click Apply.
    6.   If you selected Ethernet, then turn OFF Wifi in the top menu.
    7.   Shut DOWN your computer and then restart after completely shutting down.
7a. Either restart or unplug and plug in the Apple TV (insure your logged into Home Share after restart).
7b. Start iTunes (insure your logged into Home Share).
    Done, and your welcome!

Same here, not sure what the problem is...

  • Ipad2 will not connect to itunes after newest update

Updated Ipad2 and now itunes says it cannot connect to the Iphone??

    Update!!!
Hope this helps - after spending hours on the phone with the Apple support line, I was connected with an AT&T engineer.
As it turns out, I have an original Iphone....original phones were supplied with a BLANK sim card and needed to bae activated by Itunes only.  Once aan original Iphone SIM card is burned with your phone number it can your phone can NOT be updated with new soft ware via itunes or this problem will occur.
Solution - go to AT&T, they will supply with a BLANK sim card (it can NOT be tied to your phone when they issue it) and then you go home and log into itunes.
I was advised by the engineer that I should never update the software on my original iphone or this would occur.
I will post one more reply after installing a blank SIM and activating via itunes - Hope this helps others others(i am surprised that no one else has went through this and posted)

  • I have an iPod Nano 5th Gen and it will not connect to iTunes after I insert the cable.

I just received this iPod from a friend and iTuneswill not detect it after I connect it using the cables. All it does is charge the iPod.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue?  Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?
    How to reset iPod
Has this iPod ever worked on this PC or is this the first time you have time you have tried connecting it?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?

Now, when I connect my iPod Nano 7th gen device, iTunes gives me a message stating that an iPod has been connected but could not be indentifed properly, try reconnecting, unistall then reinstall iTunes, blah blah. Tried all that and none of it works. iPod worked fine on this computer on iTunes until this update. Windows 8.1 system.

  • IPhone 4 will not connect to iTunes after getting wet three days ago

What can I do to fix this problem that doesn't involve going to Apple Store or paying Warranty?!

You could put it  in a bag of rice for at least a week however if you have tried to turn it on since immersion you have probably fried it

  • Express will not connect to network after Extreme firmware upgrade to 7.2.1

I got the auto update notice for a fimware upgrade to my Extreme to 7.2.1. Once I upgraded I am no longer able to connect my Express. I have done all the resets and have gone through all configuration each time, but after it resets itself after configuring it, it no longer shows up in the AirPort Utility until I reset it again. The only thing unique about my Extreme config is that I have the Radio Mode set to 802.11b/g compatible. This was necessary to connect TiVo wireless USB adapters to the network.

I can tell you that you are not alone - I have tried to crack this one for some days - Im just following the instructions from the Airport assistant and it dosn't work
