ATV1 visible to every computer except the one that it syncs with

Still having troubles with my ATV1 sync'd to a WIndows 7 machine. After numerous resets and deleting of preferences and links, I finally go tthe APpleTV to appear in Devices - re-linked the ATV to iTunes and synchronization started. Several hours later, the ATV was about 3/4 full with video and music, things looking good.
I started to play a few podcasts on the ATV, and all was good. Changing selections, the ATV froze and went blank. Nothing. On the Windows side, it still showed that it was syncing, but it was stuck on the file that was transferring at the time of the freeze, and never went beyond that. So, I unplugged and restarted the ATV, and likewise shut down iTunes on the WIndows side and rebooted.
Now, the ATV is visible as a device to any computer on my network except the one to which it is linked. I can share a library from another computer, no problem. But, the ATV just doesn't show up on my Windows machine. If I go to Preferences, under AppleTV I can see that it says the ATV1 is "syncing" but it never shows up in Devices and the ATV1 doesn't acknowledge that it is connected to the master linked library.
This has been the (intermittent) problem all along... every so often I have to wipe and start over because I can't connect it any longer to the master iTunes library. This has been going on for at least 4-6 months - have had the ATV1 connected to Windows iTunes since it first came out in the stores, but never before with this amount of frustration..

I put radio buttons on the stage drag-and-drop style, rather
than have them generated at runtime, and no I don't have any code
to remove previous instances. I'll try adding code to add and
remove those as the script runs and see what I come up with. I'm
still an incredible newbie, so even though I know what I want to

Also when I plug the phone into itunes it only gives me the option to either restore or eject the phone. Up until today I never had any problems, I sync it regularly and all the software (inc itunes) is up to date. The last time I backed it up was about a month ago when I got the phone, (a replacement as my other iphone4 had loads of problems) so I don't want to have to restore it and lose everything off it!

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

FLV plays on every server except the one I need

I have a flash video, with its swf, html, flv, playback
controls swf, and AC_RunActiveContent.js, all referenced with
relative links so it shouldn't matter where I put it. I tried it on
three different servers and locally. It works just fine on two of
the servers and locally. But on the third server--the one that
matters--it doesn't play. I just get a blank page in the browser,
although 'view source' shows that the correct code is there. Other
flash videos already on this server (created by someone else using
I-don't-know-what method) do work. The file was created in Flash
CS3 and uses the Flash 8 player. The video was encoded using the
On2 VP6 codec.
Is there something that should be set on the server level to
allow newer flash videos to play?

You state that other "Flash Videos" on the same server work.
Do you mean SWF's or FLV's. If other FLV's already work, then it is
something with your encoding, or a pathing issue. If you mean
SWF's, then it is likely that the FLV MIME-TYPE needs set up on the
server. In this case Google FLV MIME-TYPE and you will find the
information necessary.

How tocopy a CD from a different computer than the one I am synced to

My daughter got a Beyonce CD for Xmas. Her iPhone has its "synced" library on an iMac27 which do not come with a CD drive anymore.
So we go to our MBP and load the CD into iTunes there. Then connect her iPhone so we can transfer the CD onto it. But everytime time I try to do that I get the dreaded "You can only be synced to one iTUnes library - Do you want to erase your iPhone and sync to this machine" or something to do effect.
Well I don't want to sync to this computer. I just want to copy a CD onto her iPhone.
Why does iTunes insist on making the simplest little things so maddeningly complicated. All I want is a simple copy.
I have her iPhone set to Manually Manage Music and video on the iMac27 but when iTunes on the MBP says that it is set to Automatically Sync and when I try to change it to Manually Manage it says that it will erase all the contents of the iPhone.
This is sooooooooo irritating.

Now that the CD is ripped on your computer, copy the song files from your computer to a flash drive. Take the flash drive to her iMac, where you can add the files to her iTunes library.
Then, she can sync her phone to her own library, which will now include the new Beyoncé tracks.

The ntfs hasn't seem to be causing any problems, but I've always wanted to know.
in order for your Mac to write to NTFS drives, it needs some help by installing e.g. the NTFS 3G driver. apparently that or something similar is installed on your Mac already. preferably, it would be formatted for Mac but then windows machines would need to have e.g. MacDrive installed to recognize the drive.

Is the newer (the one that comes standard with bb bold 9790) operating system available to all BB bold 9700?

I've had a replacement BB Bold 9700 for a while now and only just found this forum, anyway at the moment it has the standard 9700 software (the one where it is just the five icons at the bottom of the home screen, and then you can press the bb logo and you get a dark screen with all the icons accessable on) but loads of my friends who have the BB 9700 have the newer software (I think that's the word, the one where it has the icons at the bottom but you can scroll through them sideways with things like frequent, media, etc and then you can expand each one of them upwards) but I haven't been able to figure out anyway for me to get mine to update to that. I have searched everything I can, I have the desktop software and everything but it says there are no updates available for my phone, adn when I go on the internet on my bb looking for updates to the system it still finds nothing... any ideas/is it just not possible to update on some BB 9700s? Ok, I did the thing where you can then choose your service provider and then it gives you a lit of the software, I chose to download the 6 one and it saves ine adn then does its instally thing (but not ure what exactly it is trying to install and to what) and then it's like restart your computer now for changes to take effect, so I restarted and thought then when I loaded the desktop software it mght finally update it but no, made absolutely no change, what am I doing wrong/how do I make it work? I know now for sure it's definitely available!!!

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

.swf file won't play on any in house computer except the one it was rendered on

So, I work in a company that does some animation. I handle the website and uploading our stuff to it. The animator upstairs makes the stuff. He rendered out the file as a .swf, a html and a flv. He says he did it the same as he always does it, which is fairly often and he is definitely competent. The file plays in the browser on his computer (a mac).
He transfered the file to several of us to test where the problem is. On mine (mac), two coworkers (also macs), and a pc the files do nothing when opened in a browser, blank white screen. The icons for the files are also just a blank page. We can all play the other .swf files from the website, both on the site and downloaded to our comps.
Flash player has been updated on them all. He has re-rendered them with different file names. We are transferring them over our network.
We need to get this animation on the web and I have no idea whats up with these files. Anyone got any ideas?

You are allowed two installations of Photoshop. On your old computer you want to deactivate PS by opeing PS and selecting "deactivate" from the help menu. Then just install PS on your new computer.

this happened to me with my iPhone 4. I researched the problem and found this :
"The reason this happens is because every time a downloaded app is opened it checks for your itunes password for validation that you are authorized to open that app (as it may contain personal info). From time to time the iphone 'forgets' your itunes password. You can fix the missing password by syncing the iphone with itunes or downloading an app from the app store and entering your password that way.”
And to fix it, all I did was download a new app, or delete a current one, I used Facebook, and re-download it.
