ATV2: Can't make iTunes purchase.

When I try to make a purchase, I get message - "must go to the iTunes Store on your computer and verify your payment information". Have done so, checked my apple id, password, changed credit cards, unplugged the ATV2, reset it but still get same message. Have the latest software update. Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had this and updated cc information but eventually noticed my 'title' had been reset to blank - changing to Mr in the dropdown cured the issue, but i had no warning message when it was blank.
May be worth checking if the title is completed in your cc info details.

I've been trying to purchase from iTunes for over a week and everytime I try I successfully log in with my password and then click on the album to buy. It then goes to my billing info where it asks for my credit card security number which I enter. Then it loops me back to my login info and I have to repeat these steps over again which gets me nowhere.
I haven't changed anything on my account info, my credit card is the same. The only thing I can think of was that I used a gift card for my last purchases and have $.14 left to use. Would that be intefering with my purchases? I don't know how to get rid of or use up that last bit of money. Any tips on this would be appreciated.

iTunes is finally available in my country! However, even though I input all the information I was asked, Apple asks for a zip code. If Apple finally decided to open iTunes for Central America, it should know the fact, we do NOT use zip codes. How can I make a purchase?

just call them...i bought my PB when it came out...but I had an issue recently and called them up and they helped me out....

Why would you think that all stores would have the same policy?
Amazon allows it, iTunes does not. That is why. Like most companies, Apple does not forward explanations to al of their decisions to the general public. It does not have to make sense to you, for it to be true. Apple has teams of experts that have determined that this is how they should conduct their business.
With iTunes, you cannot use other countries stores.

I'm unable to make iTune purchases from my phone using my iTune gift card, the gift card information is entered on the phone and I can see the credit amount.

I am having the same problem and it is REALLY frustrating.
Exact setup that you have, COMCAST, PayPal, etc....
I have reviewed my account three times with my PayPal info and received confirmation from my PayPal Account but it still won't let me log in. Let me know if you hear anything.

You should certainly be able to add content by reference to itunes from such a disk (even before the update) - so long as itunes knows the location of the file (set Preferences not to copy to local library when adding the media) it will stream it to AppleTV if the disk is available.
I hope you're right, but I'd be surprised if current Extremes can be upgarded to provide a full Home Sharing service - marvellous if they can but I'd be surprised as i've long said we need an Apple media server either based on TC or AE to do this kind of thing.
