ATV2 + Photo Stream = Nothing

Hello.
I have an Apple TV 2 and want to use Photo Stream for the screen saver.
ATV tells me the Terms and Services have changed and to visit www.apple.com/support/icloud
Nothing that that link addresses this topic.
I have reset the ATV to factory and latest software update, reset all settings and still recieve the above error.
I can access mobileMe gallery, netflix, etc... Home Sharing is on, Remote app works, Air Play and Air Foil work, too.  Everything seems to be in order save the Photo Stream feature.
Photo Stream is working on my phone and iPad.
It seems like I should be able to go somewhere to accept 64 new pages of Terms and Conditions yet I cannot locate this agreement.
Any solutions for this out there?
Thanks for reading!

I hope this helps someone out, I was having this exact same problem and it seemed to be boggling me, but, as it turns out, most simple problems have simple solutions:
It turns out that my iCloud account had been merged over from my MobileMe, so what was happening was that Apple TV was defaulting to my iTunes Apple ID, which was not the Apple ID I use for the photo stream/iCloud. Long story short: I have two Apple IDs, one for Music/Movies without Photo Stream, and the other from Mobile Me and didn't really take this into consideration.
I sure hope this helps someone out. If you want to verify your iCloud ID, just go to settings->icloud->account details and that should sort out the username you should be logging on with to access your Photo Stream!

Why can't I sign in on ATV2 photo stream set-up.  After entering apple ID password I get a message aging unable to sign in and that iCloud terms and conditions have changed?.

As I read this it should work. http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
However it has nothing to do with iPhoto for Mac. Try the Apple TV forum fir ATV questions. https://discussions.apple.com/community/appletv/appletv

  • IPhoto '11 (version 9.4) Is Not Working With "My Photo Stream"

    OS X 10.8.2
    iPhoto '11 version 9.4 (701.64)
iOS 6 on iPhone 4 and third generation 64 GB WiFi iPad
All iCloud services I require are enabled on all three devices - most important for this issue being Photo Stream on my MBP (and, of course, my iPhone and iPad).
So, I am out of ideas and things to try here. I just want the photos in "My Photo Stream" to show up in the latest and greatest version of iPhoto. So far I have:
Disabled and re-enabled Photo Stream via iCloud preferences panel and in iPhoto itself using every possible combination of disable and enable between the two and ordering those disables and enables in every possible way with many MBP restarts.
Reset Photo Stream via iCloud.com followed by the futility of repeating Step 1.
Logged out of iCloud on my MBP, restarted, signed back into iCloud, restarted, launched iPhoto. Repeated Steps 1 and 2.
Performed every repair and rebuild option for my iPhoto library's permissions, thumbnails and database. Repeated Steps 1 and 2.
Went so far as to download and apply the 9.4 update manually hoping that maybe a reinstall of the update would correct something that might have gone wrong during some Software Update process when 9.4 was first made available. Repeated Steps 1, 2 and 4.
In the end, when I launch iPhoto and go to Photo Stream and open "My Photo Stream", sometimes I see it downloading a given number of photos and then it ends up saying "No photos". So what was downloaded? Where did those photos go? Sometimes when I launch iPhoto and go to "My Photo Stream" nothing happens at all and it just says "No Photos". And another strange thing is that "My Photo Stream" in iPhoto on my MBP indicates that it was updated March 5, 2012 and I can think of nothing special that happened on that date. I don't get it.
Why does my Photo Stream work perfrectly between my iPhone and iPad? What is the problem with iPhoto on my MBP? Am I the only one dealing with this specific issue?
I did not buy iPhoto from the App Store. I bought it outside of the App Store and have kept it updated. Is that a problem? If so, why? I do not see what reason Apple would have to make me pay for the same product twice.
I have not tried creating a shared stream yet. I see no reason to try that if I cannot get my own photo stream to work in iPhoto on my MBP.
Is there anything I am missing here. I have read the Photo Stream FAQ and myriad other support documents and community threads. I am a pretty savvy Apple guy with years of experience behind me and pretty much know what I am doing. But, I am human and maybe I'm missing somehting here. So, any help would most certainly be appreciated.

I guess I will wrap this up. I have abandoned iPhoto and viewing my Photo Streams using it and moved to Adobe products (Bridge + PS). So that's that.

  • TS3989 how can I share a photo stream from my mac? there's no check box in system preferences to turn it on

I've been having trouble to share my photo stream with other from my mac. Once I selecte the photos and click share>photo stream, nothing else happens. The option for "new photo stream" does not appear, neither the field where you type in the email addresses from people you whant to share it with. I all ready checked in iphoto'11> system Pref.> photo stream and there's no "shared photo strem" check box to turn on or off... I also checked in my mac system pref to be sure that my icloud is enabled and it is.
If I select photos and then go to my tool bar and press share. the option of photo stream is not available.
I also can't accept any shared photo stream from other and view it in my iphoto. I can only access it via web.
I DO can use my photo stream correctly and share it via my iphone. and every picture that I take uploads into my mac and every photo I import from cameras into my iphoto also uploads fine into my Ph stream. THE PROBLEM IS THAT I CAN'T SHARE THEM FROM MY MAC.....
    Please can someone help me?

You turn on Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane:
Check the box "Automatic Upload" to add every photo imported into the library to the Photo Stream.  Or leave it unchecked and manually add just selected photos to the stream by dragging them onto the Photo Stream heading in the left hand pane.

  • Photo Stream not working anymore

I had PhotoStream working on my iMac, iPad and iPhone. It has stopped working.
All boxes to turn it on are checked 'yes'.
When I try to share to Photo Stream, nothing happens but it says 'photos uplodaing'.
In my iCloud account there is no Photo Stream logo.
I can't drag and drop to PhotoStream either.
So everyting is checked to work but no photos are upstreaming to PhotoStrea.
    Can anyone help please?

I am sorry to hear that, I wish it would have worked for you. Often times I notice that if I take multiple pictures in sequential order or pictures with the shutter feature, it only uploads some.
If your concern is getting your vacation pictures secure, the best method is to plug in your iPhone to your computer and manually extract them, just as you would a flash drive.
    Sorry!

Try the following on your MBP:
Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • HT201317 I am trying to turn Photo Stream on - on my Mac when I get to the space where you are supposed to click the icon and go to Photo Stream - Photo Stream is not highlighted and nothing happens when I click on it -- what do I do?

I am trying to turn Photo Stream on - on my Mac when I get to the space where you are supposed to click on the Photo Stream icon -- the icon is not highlighted and when I click on it nothing happens --- what should I do?

the space that I am referring is the "screen" that pops up after I go to Apple icon - select System Preferences - the iCloud screen pops up and you are supposed to be able to click on the Photo Stream icon to turn Photo Stream on.  Well, the icon "Photo Stream" is not highlighted and has no check box so that I can select it to get to the screen that will let me turn Photo Stream on.

  • Why is it that when I text pictures, the recipient does not receive them.  I've noticed that I have a camera roll which is where I choose pics from, but nothing in Photo Stream.  Can someone please let me know what the issue might be?  Thank you!

Some phones can only send and recieve SMS messages. If the recipients phone doesn't support MMS they won't be able to recieve a text with a photo.
To get your photos in Photo Stream, you'll need to setup iCloud. Check out this Apple article for more info -> iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ

  • My photo stream contains nothing after the first few weeks. How can I get it going again?

I got my iphone on Dec 18, but it has no pictures or videos made after Jan 11.  How can I get the more recent media on photo stream?
    TIA

    Hi wbport,
If you are having issues with My Photo Stream, then take a look at the article below to ensure that everything is setup properly. Remember that the My Photo Stream only hold photos for 30 days and up to 1000 photos in that section. If everything is working smoothly now and you want some older photos, then I suggest that you create a Shared Photo Stream to get the photos that you want on your iPhone.

  • I have photo stream selected in iCloud and in iphoto and there is nothing in icloud when i sign in.  Why?

Any assistance would be appreciated.  I haven't been able to get icloud to work for me since I got my macair.  All operating systems and apps are up to date.
    Thanks.

Photo stream will only sync new photos (since it was turned on), not old photos.  Use the old USB method to sync old photos from device to the mac.
If you HAD photos in photo stream some time ago, photos are only stored on the stream for up to 30 days, so if those have been there for some time, then they are probably deleted.

  • Photo stream update - I should be eligible but nothing is coming up...

Whilst setting up iCloud, I was told I needed an update for iPhoto to be able to use Photo Stream.
I clicked on learn more, and it says
If you are using an earlier version of iPhoto 9:
If you purchased iPhoto on the Mac App Store, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Lion, you can update iPhoto on the Mac App Store.
Now, I bought my MacBook around the time that OS X Lion was released, and got the free upgrade for it, but when I go to the App store it says that all my apps are up to date, and when I try looking for the update from iPhoto itself, I'm told it's up to date also and that I am running iPhoto 9.1.5
    Any help please?

    Had the same problem...
I updated iphoto using  the "normal" Update Search  in the apple menue....then it worked

  • Using iCloud to Photo Stream but nothing else

My wife and I both have iPhones (her a 4 and me a 4s).  I would like to enable Photo Stream for both our phones but I believe that means we both would need to use the same iCloud account, correct? I do not want my contacts or vice versa (we both use our phones for work as well) to sync with hers.  I believe if I connect to iCloud with the same ID from both phones all contacts will sync as well, correct?
Is there a way to enable photo stream either with 2 different iCloud ID's or to enable only photo stream but not to share contacts?

What you said is correct.  If you both sync data such as contacts or calendars to the same iCloud account, the data will be merged and you will both end up with each others information on your phone as well as your own.  To prevent this you either have to sync with different iCloud accounts, or don't sync your data with the shared account.  Also, if you want to have the same photo stream on both phones they need to share the same iCloud account.  You can set up the same iCloud account on both phones and enable just photo stream and this will accomplish what you want.
With iOS 6, you also have the option of maintaining different iCloud accounts and still send a shared photo stream album to others.  When you do this, you select the photos you want to add to the shared photo stream album from your photo stream, but the other person can't add to it.  Your wife could similarly send a shared photo stream album to you, but you could not add to this album.  So it's not quite the same thing as sharing an iCloud account and the same photo stream, where photos taken by both of you will be added to the album and either of you can delete photos from the album, but I thought I would mention this as an option.  This article explains how to set up shared photo stream albums: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99.
