Audacity 1.3.3, how to export OGG files? [SOLVED]

I can't find the way to export files in ogg format using the latest Audacity (1.3.3). Even in the preferences menu it doesn't appear anymore (edit > preferences > file formats, I only see mp3, no WAV, FLAC, OGG,...) Then when exporting, I can't choose mp3 or ogg, just wav and others.
Anybody knows how this new version works?

It is strange. I have the necessary libs installed, also tried deleting configuration files, but still the same. Downgrading to 1.3.2-beta solves the problem, though. Here are some screenshots so you see the problem:

And when I select File > Export, 1.3.2 gives me options (wav, ogg, flac, mp3) while 1.3.3 gives me none

How to export HTML file into MS word file without any change
in design format?
As I have been trying to do that but problem is coming in
formating. Table's witdth and height get disturbed in MS word when
I import the html file.
What I do after creating HTML in dreamweaver I save that file
into .txt format in dreamweaver. and then import it in MS Word. And
I tried too much for it but invain.
Please help me in finding the way of solution.
Please help me as my job is in trouble. It's very urgent
pleeease help me. I'll be thankful to you.

Just open the HTML file in Word.

How to export HD files and play them on Western Digital HD Media PLayer?

Hi Folks,
I'd need your help here. I shoot HD video in AVCHD with Canon HF200.
My goal is to be able to export my edited footage with minimum quality loss and be able to play it on the well known Western Digital HD Media Player:

The player supports the following formats for video:
Video - AVI (Xvid, AVC, MPEG1/2/4), MPG/MPEG, VOB, MKV (h.264, x.264, AVC, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1), TS/TP/M2T (MPEG1/2/4, AVC, VC-1), MP4/MOV (MPEG4, h.264), M2TS, WMV9
Here is what I do:
1. I convert the avchd files into .avi using Cineform Prospect HD.
2. Then I import and edit the footage in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
3. Finally I export the edited footage using the ' BD-h.264 ' codec in the 'Adobe Media Encoder'
4. I end up with two files after the export: .M4V file (video) and .WAV file (sound).
The WD HD Media Player plays 'black' screen while displaying a message 'no audio'.
I guess the exported file is not fully supported by the WD player,
Any ideas? How can I combine the two files into one and play it on the WD player?
Maybe I'm not exporting it correctly?
Please share your experience and help me out.

Let me give you an optimum example of my last HD to DVD timing. The video was shot with two cameras under good lighting conditions and there was very little color correction required and only a few special effects. The finished video was 39 minutes (1.35 GB). The AME encoding time on my 8 core (2.33 GHz) with a really fast RAID 0 array was 36 minutes 48 seconds! If you start adding in a lot of color correction and lots of other effects encoding time does increase significantly. I am convinced that the DVD was of much better quality that had we shot it in SD. I have had problem shoots (lighting) that required vast amount of color correction etc. that required many hours of MPEG2 DVD encoding.
Incidentlly I do not export from Premiere (which uses the new copy of the Project on your C:drive), I close Premiere and open AME and use the much faster true project file on my RAID 0 array.

Not sure what you mean by "Tempo Alternative", but a standard MIDI file includes all tempo information, whether it's a static tempo throughout the song, or an intricate tempo map. It's all included.
As to "how"... simply utilize the "Export as MIDI file" function, found under the Export options in the File menu.

How to export swf file in different versions of flash like (6,7,8,9) ?

    -Flash V.10
    -Xcelsius Engage 2008 ( 5.3.0.0 )
    -Xcelsius Build number 12,3,0,670
   When I export output in swf format then xcelsius generating swf file of version 9. I want to export swf file in different versions of flash like (6,7,8,9) . I tried to install older versions of flash to do this but I am not able to open xcelsius in older version. I am getting error saying 'Install latest flash player'.
Is there any way to export swf files in different versions?
Is this build is compatible with only flash 10?

Xcelsius only support Flash version from 9 on. There is no way to export to 6,7 or 8.

How to export my file to wav on hard-disc rather than burning a CD

Hi i have tried to figure this out..I guess its looking me straight in the face but here's hoping someone can help!
I have recorded a talk imported it into WB and have added tracks to make it easier to navigate. I have successfully written it to cd. Now what i really want is to be able to export my wav files to a folder and then import those wav files into my Rimage cd duplicator. It was so easy with audition but am trying to wean myself off the PC and so am trying out Logic/wave burner. Though not perfect i tried to read the files on the cd copy them into a folder..but the files have a cda extension a sort of shortcut file I think. But i cannot get the files (wav) to copy. As i say I would prefer anyway to export direct to the file rather than using the cd as it It leaves open the possibility of file copying problems due to transferring it first onto a cd. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you Paul

Yes my initial request was 2 fold really- though i could have been clearer!
1/ To export to my hard disc the wav files of the cd project i have created in wb
2/ When exporting the lets say 1 hour talk - that the exported wav files be separate wav files reflecting the cue files i have placed on the time line in wb. In this way each separate wav file could then be imported into my rimage cd duplicator software to create my cd project. e.g cue1.wav cue2.wav etc
now in Audition this can be done easily by opening the cue window selecting the cues hitting merge then hitting batch and that's it, all done. In fact i went back to audition to do this ie I exported the wb file imported it to audition that recognised it no problem and then finally exported to wav which is done automatically during the above process.
I may be missing something , but it looks like this 'slicing' of one long audio file isn't as easily done in wb.... i do want to get off the pc for all this so any further help or perhaps a simple what to do summary would be great. I a aware all the answers could be in your replies already but i am getting into somewhat of a tizzy!! Thanks Paul

I'm new to HANA and started using the HANA sandbox.
As per the instructions in the document "SAP HANADatabase u2013 Development Guide Beta Preview" page 26, I have downloaded the file in my LAPTOP but I dont know how to load those files in the sandbox desktop!
I have tried saving the file using the URL In the HANA sandbox and saved the same in the desktop but not sure as to how to proceed
"Please download the file into a directory on the SAP HANA appliance, e. g. /home/guest/sflight and unzip it using the command" as stated in the document.
Can you please guide this step to understand the same better?

How to export a file keeping the original timecode

Hello all,
I'm struggling to find out the way to do the following:
I have an entire footage file and from that I need to cut specific interviews to be translated however I must keep the original timecode where I extracted these interviews from so the editor knows where to place the subtitles (as s/he will be using the file as a whole and because it is a foreign language they won't know the correct place).
Does anyone know how to do this? Using FCP7 btw.

You cannot export a single QT file that has multiple timecodes embedded into it. What you can do is drop on the TIMECODE READER filters onto the clips so that they visibly show the timecode on the screen as reference.

How to open .ogg files while browsing with a player not firefox

when selecting an .ogg link firefox opens the file in the current browser window. how can i associate this file type with a player of my choice instead. i have made this association in windows but no luck with firefox.

Which application opens the file if you double-click such a file in Windows Explorer?
If the default program is Word then Firefox should offer that application as the default.
In the case of an attachment then it may not be likely that the file is send with the correct MIME type for a doc or docx file, but possibly a generic type like "application/octet-stream" that will make Firefox want to save the file.

How to export QT file in 16:9 when using DVX100E(pal)

Hi,
I shot some footage in 'Squeeze' mode 16:9, on Panasonic DVX100E( pal)
When I captured it (FCP 5.0.4) and checked the 'Anamorphic' option in the 'Sequence Settings' it had the right aspect in the Canvas (16:9). To see it correctly in the Viewer, I had to change 'Aspect Ratio' of the clip from -33.33 to zero (inside the 'Motion' tab)
Till that point everything seemed OK.
But when I tried to export it as a QT movie I got the file in 4:3 instead of 16:9. I've also tried to export it as 'Pal 48 Anamorphic', but still the same distorted image... Only when I exported it as Apple Intermediate Codec 720p30 or in any HD compressor I got the right ratio (16:9), but then the quality was not very good.
How can I solve this issue?

Press command & J keys to open QuickTime Player's "Properties" window.
Click the Presentation tab.
Click the checkbox next to *Conform Aperture*.
It will jump to the Clean setting and your movie will display as 16:9.
Use this method only if the movie is intended to be viewed on a computer.
In a DVD authoring application, you would leave it as it is and set the anamorphic flag there instead.

File > Library > Export Playlist...
This only saves the playlist order. To export the tracks themselves drag them to a folder on your flash drive. Use my script LocaliseM3U to make the playlist "portable", otherwise it will still be trying to read the files out of your iTunes Media folder.
