Audigy 2 ZS, constantly have to reinstall drive

I have a 2 ZS sound card, 5. speakers. So far all I have used is Guild Wars, Winamp, and Ventrilo. It seems at a random time, my sound card fails, screeching noises and crackles replace all sounds (Note: Not cover or play over, but replace) I reinstall the drivers and its fine again, happens again in like 20 minutes. Whats up?

I don't believe it is the soundcard's fault. I think it is something working in the background. I would begin the troubleshooting, by disabling all programs working in the background. You may use a utility, Startup Control Panel which is freeware, and enable/disable processes that load during bootup.
If that doesn't help, I would then check other hardware components, such as the memory or chipset and try to change the PCI Latency settings, if available in the BIOS Setup or using the freeware.
The reason the soundcard produces cracks and pops is because it is not receiving data in a timely manner.

Also before installing Please go to Applications-->Utilities--> Adobe installers and if there is any uninstaller for CS5.5 , you can remove it and do a fresh install.

You will need your serial number. If you have the discs you should be all set. If not, then you should be able to find it thru your Adobe account online if you registered the software previously.

During a error updating, I had to reinstall iTunes. When proceeding to install iTunes, the installer chooses M:// I dont have a M drive, I click change and the iTunes installer crashes. I've tried everything, help!

Heres the isse:
When updating iTunes, after the restart I booted up iTunes and it crashed. I was prompted with iTunes had been updated incorrectly and to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. After downloading the installer from itunes.ca. I opened up the application, and clicked Next. Under the directory it says M Drive, I dont have an M drive at all, I click change and a prompt pops that says, "The volume M:/ is currently unavailable. Please select another." with "ok" being the only selection.
After hitting ok, it says "itunes installer completed" "Errors occured during installation before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again. Click Finish to exit the installer." Finish is the only selectable, and upon restarting the installer the same thing happens. I hope theres someone who can help me out with this.

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.

A very interesting NOTE to this thread. In order to try and get the "ignore permissions" box to show up in GET INFO (so I could execute Matt the Magician's solution to file sharing issues)-- I ran the terminal command for disabling ACLs on my internal HD / start up disk (as indicated in the linked thread to BDAqua's forum).
Although I understand that this was useless for disabling permissions on the start up disk (as everyone here pointed out) and allowing me to see the "ignore permissions" check box - somehow it did seem to fix my file sharing problem...and that was the root problem I wanted solved in the first place! After doing the terminal command and a quick reboot, I went in and tested file sharing on the chosen directory and I can create new files or work from existing files in the directory, with both users being able to modify / and save from both machines and each machine sees the revisions and can build from them. Bottom line - I'm stoked and want to thank everyone for their help.
The only other tweak I made was going over to my wife's machine and instead of using her log in / password, I just used my name and password to connect to my main machine that was sharing directories. Maybe that's what fixed the problem or the ACL disable but either way...I'm up and running the way I want to be.
Hope this thread helps anyone else who has these file sharing / permissions issues with Leopard. Especially for anyone wanting to do such a simple file sharing set up between 2 computers. I wish I understood exactly which tweak fixed the problem, but at least it works the way I want now.

IMac won't boot after updates,have to reinstall loin from recovery drive

I have a 27" iMac running 10.7.1 and love it, but every time I do a software update it won't boot, it just goes to white screen with spinning gear forever! I let it set there for an hour and it never changed. I've tried restarting it but it just stops at that point,so I have to restart holding cmd-r to go to the recovery partition and have it reinstall loin,i've tried reparing the drive and perrmissions but it still wont boot unless i reinstall loin. I have five other macs running loin with no problem, so why just my imac?

Hopefully you have AppleCare. If so, call Apple to see if this if you are afflicted with the dreaded motherboard problem.

If you failed to back them up, thn you can transfer them from your iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases or just redownload them.

use Carbon Copy Cloner http://www.bombich.com/ to clone the OSX from your internal SSD to the external USB-connected one.
Boot OSX from the external harddisk and install what programs/apps you want.
No need to buy another OSX as Apple explicitly allows such usage.
I don't have a MBA so I can't comment on the USB-hub.
