Audigy 2 ZS | Separate Line out 1 (headphones) and Line out 2 (speakers)?

Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible to Setup a 4 speaker setup, having headphones in Line out 1 and my stereo speakers in Line out 2, and using something like Virtual Audio Cable to reroute audio from Teamspeak to my headphones, and everything else to my speakers? I don't have a front headphones panel. I have attempted to reroute audio but it doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is there a different way?

Needless to say, that did nothing. In fact, I can't understand how I could of received such an answer given it made no sense what-so-ever. Download the driver that came with it? One that's now almost a year old?
Regardless... I've tried that one. I've tried the latest RealTek drivers. I've tried a multitude of ASIO drivers. NOTHING WORKS. Yes, I've set the RealTek to send TWO SEPARATE STREAMS. That does NOTHING. The only thing I've been able to ascertain is that you can send one stream out the headphone/line out (same thing) AND one out the HD port which is useless.
Here's the pain in the ass: If you go to the RealTek setup and change it to 7.1 and hit TEST, you DO hear separate output out the HEADPHONE JACK and the THIRD Audio Out jack which is the side fills so I know this laptop CAN spit audio out two separate outputs sitting on the side of the computer.
Why do I want to do this:
Simple. I'm lugging around an external audio interface for DJing and it's a pain. I'd rather just tap the headphones out for, well, headphones and send the line out or that third audio output to the DJ mixer. Done! I've tried MIXMEISTER, VIRTUAL DJ, NOTHING WORKS! I can select various strangely named outputs insinuating speaker out, speaker out + 1, etc... but no... it doesn't work at all...
Sooooooooo... has ANYONE been able to get this to work? I'd love to know...

Yea Stu... been through this part... Playback devices show the typical:
1. Speakers (Realtek) -> Plays on ext. speakers but sounds like just treble. Headphone Out plays this stream.
2. RealTek HD Audio 2nd output -> Plays on ext. speakers but sounds like bass/mids. No treble. NO OUTPUT PLAYS THIS. Plug anything in and sound from the speakers just shuts off
3. Realtek HDMI Output (Not selectable)
4. Realtek Digital Output (Not selectable)
So yea, it seems right out of the box there is a problem with the sound on this unit. Choosing speakers sounds like crap (no mid/bass) and choosing HD Audio 2nd output sounds like crap (all mid/bass no treble).
There is no discrete dual audio out the jacks.
HOWEVER - Go choose 7.1 from the realtek setup and do a test. Well what do you know, DISCRETE 2ND AUDIO OUTPUT OUT THE HEADPHONE JACK AND THE 3RD OUTPUT JACK OF THE 4 IN A ROW. This PROVES you can have two discrete stereo audio streams coming out the output jacks. Just need someone to write the driver for it.
Here's the thing. This laptop HAS 4 1/8" JACKS. SEE:

I've had my refurbished PBG4 1.33 GHz for a few months and when I plug in headphones, the sound comes out the headphones AND the internal speakers of the laptop. I've tried messing w/ the System Prefs/Output with no luck whatsoever. Any suggestions, or anybody else have this problem at all? I've read threads here that have been similar but not quite this particular problem. I need the sound to ONLY come through the headphones when they are plugged in. Kinda defeats the purpose if sound still comes out the laptop internal speakers w/ headphones plugged in.

GO to System Preferences and open "sound".
In "Output" make sure you have selected "headphones" as the source.
In "Input" make sure you have selected "line in"
Also make sure your headphones are plugged into the correct socket. There are two. The one you should be using is the one nearest the front of the computer.

Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS for Notebooks - Headphones and Speakers wont play at the same ti

Prior to restoring my compter I could play audio through the headphone port and the suround port connected to my speakers. Now after restoring my computer and reloading the software and drivers my suround sound mutes when i plug a line in to the headphone port. The reason I do this is because i have have a really nice old stero that has a better bass than my 4. computer speakers. How can I get audio to play through both outputs?

More than possible. Start with plugging the headphones into the front out jack and the speakers in the rear out. Then it is just a matter of changing the speaker settings and a change in CMSS. When using the headphones set it to headphones, and when you want to use the speakers set it to 4., and in the CMSS settings adjust the fron/rear balance to all rear.

Music Comes Out Headphones And Speakers At Same Time

My ipod is playing music out of the headphones and the speakers at the same time and I can't figure out why. I reconnect the headphones and it still plays out of both...It is like it doesn't recognize that there are headphones plugged in, but yet it still plays out of them. Help would be appreciated.

I have a 5.1 sound card and there are two plugs left. one for sound and the other for the mic, i tried plugging my headphone and mic in them but when doing the sound test i don't hear any sound coming from the headphone, i remember i used to have both sounds from my old 2.1 speakers and sound card.

Which sound card you have? All I can think at the moment is you could have connected the headphone to the wrong connector jack on the sound card. It should be something like Line out .

( X-fi Titanium ) - How to setup both headphone and 5.1 speakers ?

Just bought the Creative Sound Blaster X-fi Titanium PCI-Express. Now Im having problem configuring my headphone because there is no headphone output. There is only Front , Side , Rear , Center/Sub , Mic/Line-in , spdif in and spdif out. Is there any way to change the Side output to Headphone output ?

Wow...just wow... Creative support doesn't even mention a feature on their own card. If once and for all that doesn't show the incompetence of support from Creative I don't know what else does. I'm not sure if this applies to your system or not but if so it can help. In the front of your X-FI (near the glowing X-FI symbol) you will see a number of pins. If you have an AC'97 or HD audio cable that runs from your case to your onboard sound on your motherboard thats connected to your headphone jacks on your case you have headphone support that way. I'm not sure if the pins only support HD audio or not I'm using the HD audio myself and haven't tested AC'97. The cables are 0pin or 8pin (sorry I dont remember but one pin is blocked out). If you look at the pins slightly inside the card near the glowing X-FI symbol look to the right (or left depending how you are looking at your soundcard). Within that first cluster of pins you will plug in your cable on the right side (of that first cluster of pins). That is where you would plug in this cable. If this applies to you then you will have headphone support without using ANY back supports at the back of the soundcard.
This function is not documented anywhere when you get the card (at least not for mine) and I have no idea why but its there and it works. I hope this helps you.

is it true that the System.out.print("\n") will print a new line character in all platforms?
in other words is it ok to assume that System.out.print("\n") and System.out.println(); will give the same output regardless of platform?

System.out.print("\n") Chances are that will produce different results on different platforms as some platforms use \n, some use \r some use \n\r (or is it \r\n?).
The question is why do you care when System.out.println() will do what you want? An alternative:
System.out.print(System.getProperty("line.separator"));

No sound from speaker port with X-fi, but headphones and line out are f

After going through a lot of driver updating yesterday, I encountered several bad drivers and had to do a system restore a few times. However, after I did that my Sound Blaster X-fi card stopped putting sound out through the speakers. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, updating the driver, reconnecting everything, running diagnostics, and looking at the system settings, but nothing works. Oddly enough, when it's either disabled or not used as my default playback device (apparently I also have a Realtek AC97), the speakers will play, but when I try using X-fi it doesn't. The odd thing is that the AC97 was one of the corrupt drivers (which I removed and returned to its original driver, don't know what the date was), but the X-fi didn't have any problems at all, but now it seems glitchy whenever I try to do anything with it, including trying to uninstall the drivers and looking it up in the System Information console. The Device Manager says I have the most recent driver for the X-fi right now, but even if I roll it back it still doesn't work. EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM HERE!
I havent got another motherboard to test my x-fi xtreme music on, but it's a very frustrating problem, if i boot up from cold the soundcard is either not recognised or is recognised but there's no sound output.
My motherboard is ASUS P5E3 Pro,
Memory: 8GB OCZ DDR3 600
Cpu: x9650 extreme @ stock 3.0GHz
Psu: Coolermaster 850w modular
Gfx: HD 5770 (will be changing this to a HD4890 soon as it's rubbish)
Ive tried all sorts of combinations to try and get this soundcard working properly, stick of ram, etc... NOTHING WORKS AND IM ANNOYED!
Ive played about with just about every bios setting i can find (theres a lot on this board) and still no luck, i've got the latest bios flashed and everything is upto date, as a musician this problem is very irritating, having to reboot the computer about 3 times to get the sound working! even then theres problems with sound drop-outs.
Makes no difference if i use windowsXP or windows7 the problem still remains, i might ask asus to make a bios update for this problem because im not sure if creative have the answers.

If you are using extended classic scenario you can simply delete the line items in the PO within SRM. This will replicate the appropriate changes in the backend.
You won't be able to change the PO in the backend as this is standard functionality.
You can also archive SRM PO incase you don't want to delete the same
PO Archiving
Once the purchase order is ordered and issued, it is a legal document between your company and the vendor. Only PO line items can be deleted and you can not delete PO header.
Deleting line item of PO is not enough. Make sure that PR or SC history does not contain any follow on document else system will interpret this a close PR or SC.
Because the PO was already printed or output exist... You cannot delete PO header.
Once the PO has been issued to vendor in any form, deletion is not possible at the header level, only possibility is deleting line items of the PO (deletion indicator marked for all the line items of PO). Only when the PO is rejected by the approver (in case any, which will be in the 'release rejected' status) or in held state (before issued to vendor), PO can be deleted at the header level, as the data still exists in SRM and not get transferred to R3 backend. If you want to forcibly delete the PO at the header level, flag DOC_CLOSED field in the table BBP_PDHGP (header tabe) through BBP_PD for the respective PO.
Try using the Function Modules "BBP_PD_PO_DB_DELETE".

Type 5 Passwords on line con 0 and line vty 0 4

Hi all,
I have a requirement to have all passwords on my network infrastructure devices to have type 5 (MD5) passwords vs. the type 7 passwords. I'm running IOS version 12.2 on my devices. Is it possible to accomplish this? Or would doing this require ACS or something equivalent. Thank you,

I do not know who established this requirement but they are requiring you to do something that can not be done. Type 5 encryption (MD5) is for enable secret. Cisco has not implemented that type of encryption for console or vty passwords. If you use ACS then the passwords that are normally used can be protected on the server (or you can use one time passwords which are even more safe). But for the passwords that are configured on the router type 7 is as good as you are going to get.

Check-out Exclusive and Check-out Nonexclusive

When we check out a record exclusively or non-exclusively why is the 'Modify Join Permissions' option active(not disabled).According to my understanding,if we make check-out non-exclusive, without modifying join permission,all the other users must be able to 'Join checkout'.If it is exclusive we have to assign user and role who can Join Checkout it.Then why is the 'Modify Join Permission' option coming for non-exclusive checkout also.Apart from my understanding is there any other difference between the two.Please help me in clarifying this.

(1) Exclusive, which grants join permissions to no other roles or users (by default, no other users can join the checkout); and
(2) Nonexclusive, which grants join permissions to the Everyone role (by default, all users can join the checkout).
Instead of checking in the duplicate record, the owner can use the Roll Backcommand to delete the duplicate and abandon changes.
You can use the All Versions command to display both versions (originals and duplicates) of all checked out records. This is the only way for other users to join the check out of new records.
You can use role-based privileges to decide whether owners and/or non-owners are permitted to check in, roll back, or modify join permissions of checked out records.

Possibility to route Sound? (connect headphone and speakers at the same ti

Hi is it possible to route the sound of my X-FI Titanium (PCIe)?
I want to connect Headphone and 2. Speakers at the same time and want to be able to decide where the sound comes out.
It wasnt possible with my previous audigy 2zs, but it thought now it could be possible, because every cheap onboard sound can do that.
The only solution so far was to choose stereo surround but that wont work in games because most games recognise 4 speakers and some sound is missing.
Any hints?

I used to be able to do that in XP with an SB Li've 024 which?was like 2+2 stereo card before 5. came out.
Thinking....maybe somethig like [url="http://www.pccables.com/images/05004.jpg">this[/url]?(3.5mm STEREO JACK Y-SPLITTER ADAPTER) plugged into front out for headphones and front speakers.
You can also get a cable that does similar.
