Audigy 4 + DTT3500 doubts about how to conn

I have an Audigy 4 and an old DTT3500 Digital 5. (old but still very good, no reason to buy a new set, is also a Dolby Digital decoder). The DTT3500 accepts optical, coax, digital din and as 'line in' only front and rear (no center).
Ok, so previously I had a Audigy (and Audigy 2) and I both connected those using the digital din. With this, I got full 5. surround in games and when playing DVD the digital sound was send through the decoder and got decoded by the amplifier.
Now with the Audigy 4 I am confused. I have bought a new product but it seems I have _LESS_ features? As I understand it I have to connect the analog out's of my Audigy 4 to my DTT3500 for games (and miss the center channel because my DTT3500 doesn't have an analag-in for center). I also have to connect the digital out to my DTT3500 in case I want to play a DVD movie and use the DTT3500 decoder to get full 5. DVD sound.
It seems there is no way anymore that I can have 5. sound in games? So, I'm wondering if there is a way that I can make my own 'custom cable' which has a digital din on one end (for in my DTT3500) and at the other end is a combination of different outputs of the Audigy4. Is that possible?
Also, I don't like that now when I have to switch between headphone and speakers I have to unplug the front DTT3500 plug and switch it with my headphones. I very often change between headphones and speakers (for online gaming matches I use headphones, also at night, but for the rest I use my speakers).
Any advice for the most elegant solution? Or I'll just have to li've with it ... maybe switch my Audigy 4 back for an Audigy 2 (which is in an older computer that I still have).

It seems, you can connect Audigy 4 Pro to RXV least through coaxial.

Hi,
2LIS_08TRTLP gives the Delivery Item in Shipment. Therefore it mainly deals with the deliveries and the shipment stages. Therefore most of the fields come from the VTTS and LIPS.
IF you need data from VTTK, then you need to use datasource 2LIS_08TRTK.
Also refer sap note 440166. It gives the design using an ODS. Basically, you get to know what are the keys being used for fetching the data from the tables.

Hi,
First you have to create a new document using CV01N tcode. Here leave the document field as blank, document type value can be choosen from F4 help and document part and document version can be given as 0. Press enter and add the necessary values and save. It will then create a new document. Using that document go to SE37 and execute the BAPI. In the BAPI also you need to give the document no that is generated, and document type, document part and document version of the newly generated document. In the OBJECTLINKS table of the BAPI give the material number and other details. Please see the function module documentation of this BAPI also.

Your code implements some business transaction, right? So if you commit before whole trancaction (from business standpoint) is complete other sessions will already see changes that are (from business standpoint) incomplete. Doubts about use of REPORTS_SERVERMAP with Forms11g HA

Hi,
I'm configuring a Linux 64bits Forms/Reports 11g HA environment, the point is that i have two nodes, each one with its Forms and Reports servers, let's say FormsA and ReportsA for the first node and FormsB and ReportsB for the seconde node.
i want FormsA to be able to call reports from ReportsB and FormsB to be able to call reports from ReportsA.
I've been reading about REPORT_SERVERMAP

But i have some doubts about its use:
1. I will not use a shared cluster file system or any way of cache solution, i will only have my rdf files on each node, and i'm wondering if just by configuring this parameter i will be able to get the effect mentioned above ??
2. The link provided says "Using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT. If the call specifies a Reports Server cluster name instead of a Reports Server name, the REPORTS_SERVERMAP environment variable must be set in the Oracle Forms Services default.env file"
In fact i'm using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT but
what is the Reports Server cluster name ?? and where do i find that name ??
3. Is this configuration well defined:
REPORTS_SERVERMAP=clusterReports:ReportsA;clusterReports:ReportsB
4. At forms applications when using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT, can i assume that the report server name will be the cluster name specified at the REPORTS_SERVERMAP ??
5. Which files should i modify rwservlet.properties or default.env ??

Suppose Run_report_object executed jobs successfully to ReportsA
But web.show_document command for getjobid failed ( as ReportsA went down by this time)
--> You will not get the output shown ( though job was successful)
If shared cache was enabled, then Even if ReportsA is down, other cluster member ( say ReportsB)
will respond back to web.show_document.
Point 2,
--> Under HA is it highly recommended to use web.show_document ( a servlet call) to execute reports. This is to help use all HA features at the HTTP , Webcache or load balancer level.
However if there is migrated code or Run_report_object is must, then the recommendations as you see in the pointed document is must.
REPORTS_SERVERMAP setting needs to be configured in rwservlet.properties file and also in default.env Forms configuration file to map the Reports Server cluster name to the Reports Server running on the mid-tier where the Load Balancer forwarded the report request.
For example FormsA, ReportsA, cluster name say rep_cluster
default.env file
REPORTS_SERVERMAP=rep_cluster:ReportsA
Where "rep_cluster" is the Reports Server cluster name and "ReportsA" is the name of the Reports Server running on the same machine as FormsA

At default.env this is not a valid entry

Doubt about Fitting

Hi everybody
i have a little doubt about the "Linear Fit .vi"; i see the help page and i undestand that it takes a set of value X and Y and makes out the best fitting of the Y value. I tried to use it in a project and:
In the first block (the upper one) it takes a data set (X,Y) and makes the fit..ok!
In the second one (the lower one) it takes a ramp signal + noise data in the Y input and just the ramp signal in the X input.. how can he makes the fit?
It takes the same signal, how can it read the x value and the y value ? If i have a waveform in "dynamic data set" how can i separate the X and Y component? can i put the same signal in the X and Y input ?
I hope to be clear.. i just want to know how can the .vi read several kind o input.

here said how I can calculate the sizing based in Data Record Size per each Metric stored, but in specific, about the example: 20 systems, 17 CPH metrics. are included SCM, BI, ECC, SOLMAN in this 20 systems? And about the 17 CPH Metrics is talking about ratios? what's mean the CPH metrics?, How can I know what is my CPH metrics?

Doubt about webDynpro windows

HI Experts,
I have small doubt about webdynpro windows.
1) If i have only one application in webdynpro DC , what is use of using multiple windows.
2) If i have multiple windows in a DC which has single application, how i can i navigate between windows?
3)if i have multiple applications with multiple windows, then how will i know which window belongs to which application.
4)If i have multiple windows and multiple applications, then how can we navigate between windows? It means navigation betn windows and navigation betn applications...?
Please explain me, i browsed in SDN, i found the threads but they are explaining my doubts exactly

Hi.
Simply the Window is part of Web Dynpros public interfaces, and are needed whenever you want to access a graphic component from outside of your web dynpro component.
Web Dynpro uses the MVC design pattern. Model View Control.
In order to reuse components, Web Dynpro exposes the View and Controller to the outside world.
Internally the View and Control in MVC is just that:
Views
Component Controller and Custom Controller.
Externally the View and Control are exposed as
Interface Controller and Interface Views. The Interface View is the external part of a Window. (When a Window is created, an associated Interface View is created).
So, to be able to actually see anything from a Web Dynpro application. The browser would access a Interface View that opens the Window with some view in it.
An other example is that you have two Web Dynpro projects, where the first one have a View with an integrated view from the second Web Dynpro. The integration would be through the Interface View again.
Internally in your Web Dynpro component, you can use the views directly (i.e. navigate between views).
Opening an external popup would generate a new browser window. In order for the new browser window to display anything it would need to access an interface view. That's why you need to create a separate Window when you want to use a popup.

Doubt about string.intern()

Hello
I have a doubt about string.intern() method.
The document says
When the intern method is invoked, if the pool already contains a string equal to this String object as determined by the String.equals(Object) method, then the string from the pool is returned.
So what is the point of using this intern() method with == or != operators if it aleady calling to equals method internally?
eg:
if (studentObject.getName().intern() == "Student Name") {}cannot be better than
if (studentObject.getName().equals("Student Name")) {}Can someone please explain?

I would avoid the whole stupid 100 line if-else by doing a Map of type->object and then just clone() the object. But maybe that might not be suitable or "fast enough" for you.I cannot do above because object have it's own behaviors varying at run time
eg - class One has setOne method and class hundred has setHundred method
. Even if i use a map and clone it again i have to use above comparison for setting those behaviours.

Doubt about diference between SAPconsole and SAPmobile

Hello,
     I have been many doubts about diference between sapconsole and sapmobile, if anyone could help me I appreciate.
1) I have ECC6 instaled, the SAP Mobile is compatible with ECC6 or I need of Netweaver Instaled ?
2) If Possible to Install Sap Mobile in ECC6 , I have to Buy a license of sap mobile ?
3) in any product instaled Windows CE have possible to install sap mobile ?
4) In sap console what is the requirement for to do this configuration?
I Anybody to know about this informations please explain for me ?

    The Basic Diference beteween SAPConsole and SAPMobile is :
SAPConsole ==>
1 ) Don' t need a new Hardaware for to configurate
2 ) Only need a Machine with the IIS service installed
3 ) The SAPGui CD content the SAPCOnsole.exe for configuration
4 ) The equipment like Pocket and datacolletor has been to configurated in a Network( but if to have a entrance in the SAPGUi indicate a SAProuter in another factory is possible to have acesses.. ) is a mandatory. Cause the SAPCOnsle folow the SAPGUI entrances and need a LAN or a WAN configurated.
Advantage
simple to congurated and chip.
Easy to create to new window cause the SAPConsole only plubish this window in Browser.
Disadvantage
Need a lincense for each Poket or Datacolletor, wherever the equipment you will use.
Doesn't have a Database using through Browser (IE6 or IE7) this way , during the processes lost network you go to lost the information not saved.
SAPMobile
1 ) Need the a good Machine with a instance of SAP configurate
2 ) Have to found the EXE in the MarketPlace
3 ) is not publish, and yes a client with the database configurate in equipment
4 ) The equipment like Pocket and datacolletor has been to configurated in a Network
Advantage
Need only one SAP License, doesn't metter how many equipment in use you have.
As the SAPMobile has a Database in the client , if you lost the network it goes to save in the local database and when the network come back , it will to synchronize. This way you don't need to work online every moment, you get to synchronize after.
Disadvantage
You profit in license is your lost in the Machine cause the price of Machine is expensive.
is configurate only in windows Mobile.
The window only can be create for a Developement and not in the SAP, have been created in windows Mobile.
A tip, the both is good but you can do a simple mathematics.
In the SAPConsole how much money you go to spend is the least of the Machine s Price.
If yes confurate the SAPConsole , if not configurate the SAPMobile

Doubt About ASM

Hi All,
I have some doubts about ASM.
I have installked ASM on my linux box and created two databases which are totaly
using ASM. I created controlfile on local file system only.
1. Suppose I want to remove my one database. I just shut abort the database and
remove the controlfile. Now I need to remove all files belong to DB_1 from ASM.
I am using one single Diskgroup for both Databases. So, can not drop Diskgroup.
Now, How can I identify files of DB_1 database ?
2. If I create a normal redundancy diskgroup using two failgroup. It shows me total_mb
and free_mb space as available. Whenever my database takes 1 extent of 100mb
it reduces 200mb from free_mb column which is also understandable.
But I am not able to figureout about col required_mirror_free_mb. What it is saying.
I have read oracle documentation but still not able to understand.
Can some please shed some light on this ?

If you are using 10.2 then just use asmcmd .
It is very similar to a regular Unix command prompt interface, when in fact it runs sql commands against ASM instance.
If you are using 10.1 then you have ti run those sql commands manually.

Doubtful about security of oracle's Wrap code!

I am little bit doubtful about security of oracle's own Wrap code like package "sys.utl_smtp" .
Someone can easily Unwrap it without source code?
How it possible? whats your opinion about this? please can anybody clear me.

Halm, you are operating under the mistaken belief that your code deserves hiding from the customer and competitors to begin with. Why? All you are doing in the code is performing DML. It is not like your application is the only one in the world that performs its function.
If someone really wanted to they could figure out what your code is basically doing just by looking at the table and file data before and after running the code. By careful manipulation of the data and studying the results they can figure out what is being done and then develop their own specific of the how it is done. One can also look at Oracle's internals as the code is being processed both using Oracle provided views and direct peaking at Oracle's shared memory. Then there are tools like sql trace which will captute the SQL, waits, and binds for the process.
But all of this is kind of mute in that most shops do not have the talent to write their own unwrapper nor has the shop purchased an unwrapper so if you wrap the code it is going to be secured from most users and competitiors. I would just recommend that potential customers not purchase your product becuase the customer is going to need access to the code either for debugging (bugs will exist in the code) or tuning. Likely both.
