Audigy 4 Pro...Line-in to Line-o

Hello all, new here
I've managed to unite my PC and hifi together in one room and I've stumbled upon a problem, namely a lack of suitable outputs.
I thought the line-in 3 phono was a line out.
The only solution I've found is to connect a phono from my amp to 3.5 jack on the back of the card its self. It would be much easier to change the line-in 3 to a line-out, the amp its self is an oldie but goodie so it lacks optical and digital in. Is it possible to change a line-in to a line-out?

On which device you have not enough outputs (Audigy or Home Stereo)?
On Audigy card, you have 3 analog stereo Line-Outputs there and on External Hub one for the headphones (if not set to mute lines when headphones connected you perhaps can use this as the 4th stereo output channel). How many more you need for Audigy?
If you want to output to all 2 or 3 stereo pairs simultaenously from the same source (player/home stereo) or separately from different sources you just set speakers to 4/4. or 6/6. and adjust levels from Creative THX console (if necessary). You also may need an application (player) that supports ASIO drivers and allows selection for output channel(s). See the connections on User's Guide.

You need to connect the turnable into your (pre-)amplifier which normally has input (with RIAA) for turnable (phono). If you meant (phono) an input on your amplifier then see above.</i>
Normally, you can't swap I/O's.

Audigy 2 Platinum Pro I/O hub Line 3 damaged ?

Hello everybody, I've been using since 2003 an Audigy 2 Platinum Pro but never had the need to use all the inputs of the I/O hub. Now i have and connected an FM Tuner to Line 3 Input. First everything ran fine but the next day i had noise and loud buzz on this input. As i thought that my OS (Win7 Ultimate) was the cause i also installed XP Pro on another partition and just the initial drivers that came with the card years ago but the same behaviour also there in a clean fresh environment without interfering with other drivers or an OS update. So now i must believe that Line 3 is damaged. I connected a VCR over RCA to Line 1 and Line 2. Everything's ok there but Line 3 has noise before connecting and noise and buzz when connecting anything. I also can hear the source but not clearly.
Is there a way to find out if Line 3 is definitely damaged ?
Besides that, is there any restriction in connecting devices over RCA ? I mean can under certain circumstances a damage occur ?

Seems that nobody else has had this problem yet. In the meantime i have found out that just one channel is full of noise. Even under Ubuntu i have this noise so it's definitely the hardware. Must be something damaged indeed. the point is that i would like to know how can i avoid to happen this once again. In the last 25 years i am dealing with RCA Audio i connected the devices always not powering them off before. Seems that the problem is here. It could have shortcutted something inside the I/O box.

When you fail to give information on the exact model MBP that you have, how do you expect anyone to provide you with any specific information?
I suggest that you go to the iFixit.com and Powerbookmedic.com and look for parts and prices. That naturally assumes that you know what parts are defective and need to be replaced.

It is probably a display or display connector issue. To check this, take a screenshot of the display by pressing Command, Shift and 3 keys. Then, open the screenshot created in Desktop, and see if the line appears. If not, it is a display issue.
If you have not got a MacBook Pro with Retina display, you can repair this yourself. You just need to look for the display connector of your MacBook Pro model in the Internet and install it, and if this does not work, you have to replace the whole display.
However, if you do not know a lot about computers or your Mac is in warranty, you should take the Mac to an Apple Store or reseller to get it repaired

Use a alias, but you might have to use a zip code that matches the location used.
Also if you click the right button there is a way to bypass the registration, like register later or something, Apple has it hidden. Also to bypass the internet connection to send the registration off.
Never place your name on a Mac or PC, it's spread throughout the entire machine, in emails, on the network in plain sight etc.

I would take your machine into a Apple service center. Its highly likely a hardware issue. The most likely issue being the display has failed. If there is no external damage to the machines display they will replace the whole display under warranty for you.

HD workflow_Off-line vs. on-line edit

In the video world (i.e. non-film world) how common is it to work with the offline edit. I often work on internal video projects in both DVCPro 50 and DVCPro HD ranging from :30 mock TV spots to brand/mood videos for new business up to 5 minutes. Quite a mix of DVD captured movie footage and actual HD footage shot with our Panasonic HVX 200. I do have a system that can handle the on-line editing and plenty of CPU power an storage 2 TB. What is the best workflow with FCP? What variables would help determine whether or not to off-line or on-line? Is it personal preference or are there things to gain from either of the two? Pros? Cons?
Or am I crazy and off-line, on-line process mainly used for film based work?

Very common. But if you can store and work with the media at an online resolution why bother?
@2reverb - Why do you say that? Do you mean EDL reliability? I do remember having some issues with that workflow (fcp offline to edl to avid online) a few years ago, but I'd hoped that things would have been ironed out. I also assumed that going from fcp offline to fcp online with a project file would be flawless. Is this not the case?

HOW can i rotate the loop as many lines of multi line container in BPM

Hi All
I have to send an idoc to 2 Receivers by spliting the message.
Based on the occurance of a particular source segments i need to create those many instance of targets.
IDOC ---> Rec1 (More than one message instance)
     ---> Rec2 (More than one message instance)
I have taken messages of Receiver into a multi line container1
and messages of Receiver 2 into another multi line container2.
HOW can i rotate the loop as many lines of multi line container.

There are two webservices are 2 receivers.
In the idoc there is specific segment , which occurs unbounded,Each occurence we Need to check the value of a particual field and send to corresponding Receiver.
For Ex:
ZE1KONH (1..Unbounded)
   >MSFGN =004 --> Rec1
>> MSFGN==0009 Rec2
It could be like , 1 or more segm for Rec1 and 1 or more segm for Rec2
                        all are for Rec1 or All are for Rec2.
so in the tranformation we need to put all message of Rec1 in corresponding multiline container as well for Rec2. Then i need to send to correspongind Receiver.
So here i need to send all splited messages to appropriate receivers

We found in PCP0 there are payroll documents which has GL account with with line items in line type 'S' document split. Unlike other line items with line type 'blank' these line items cannot be opened and display the wage type details. How can we know from which wage type these line items were created?

These line items are caused by company transfer and they are cleared by themselves between companies.

can i know how to add a new schedule line for a line item using<u> bapi_po_change</u>. what are the parameters that need to be filed. i filled poitem with total quantities and poschedule table with 2 different schedule lines and passing as the parameter.but then i get the error saying item 0000 doesnt exist

Please check if you have properly populated the following fields in POSCHEDULE:
PO_ITEM
SCHED_LINE
and the other fields required for your schedule line such as delivery date and quantity, etc.
After that, make sure to properly populate fields in POSCHEDULEX:
PO_ITEM -> same value as found in POSCHEDULE
SCHED_LINE -> same value as found in POSCHEDULE
All other values populated in POSCHEDULE should be ticked as 'X' in POSCHEDULEX.

Export Excel Data only causes blank line between 2 lines of records

I wrote a complete winform application using CR2008.
For information :
C# Framework 3.5
Windows XP SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP1
CR2008 SP1
Application allow to preview report. In the preview window (CR activx) there is a "letter icon" to export report in several format.
-RPT
-PDF
-DOC
-XSL
-XSL Data only
When I export with "Excel Data only" format, I always have a blank line between 2 lines of records in Excel.
Is there a way to supress them from VS2008 ?

BI Publisher 11g. Plotting multiple lines in a line graph

We have a requirment where we need to show multiple lines in a line graph. I have gone through the earlier posts for this topic but when I am following the same steps I am not able to resolve the problem.
I have 3 mterics: Month (which will be X-axis) , Size (Which will be on y-axis) and Name. I have names for 10 tables and i want to display 10 lines in my line graph.
In the chart generator, I am using Month in "Labels", Table name for "color" field" and size in the "values" section.
When I am trying this I am geting the following error in chart generator. It says " The data required 2 columns. The data has only 1 column." To trick the system, I also put a dummy column with static value of 1, but then also i am getting the same error, that it requires 2 columns.
the sample XML for the chart is like this:

Bug in Adobe XI:
The line style of Word tables is ignored. Broken lines or dotted lines in Word tables are shown as normal uninterrupted lines in PDF file.
For example, in my Word document I choose the following line styles in tables: dotted line (.........................) or broken line ( - - - - - - - - - - - - ).
In the PDF file, all lines are shown as normal uninterrupted lines (__________________), even if I zoom in 800% or more.
Is there a solution for this problem? (In FreePDF, it works well, but FreePDF has other disadvantages and therfore is no solution for me.)

Ok 1st one. The warning restriction message relates to this line in main.cf:
smtpd_helo_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated permit_mynetworks check_helo_access hash:/etc/postfix/helo_access reject_non_fqdn_hostname reject_invalid_hostname permit reject_invalid_helo_hostname
The last reject occurs after the single word "permit" and is ignored.
However, that's not the problem.
I'm not exactly sure what's happening, but this might be a clue.
It would appear that either postfix is not being able to create the socket for private/policy or it's somehow created with the wrong permissions. You might need to ramp up the debug level to get a better idea.
You could check if it's being created by "netstat -a | grep private/policy" in terminal.
My guess is that it's not being created because there is no setup statement in your master.cf file, but I don't understand why postfix would be looking for it if it isn't set up. Private/policy I think relates to grey listing. Maybe gives you a hint.
