Audigy Value users.. enter your vista 32bit problem here

i am experiencing a problem from the driver release of SB audigy value for vista 32 bit?my card is sound blaster audigy value 24 bit 7. st I install the driver... works great2nd... play games..3rd...play music mp3's4rth restarted my computer5th play again...6th restarted again...7th after windows vista open... its automatically detecting pci to pci bridge, and multimedia audio controller(means it got disconnected automatically and been detected again and reset it's setting to default)?8th... when i click the playback devices @ the taskbar and click speaker and go to properties, advance... 96khz and 24 bit is gone... i can make it work again by uninstalling the driver and all of its components and intall it again... and then a few restart later the problem will happen again?i've'' been testing this alway's? when i am using winxp i did not experience anything like this before.. check my board and soundcard to other pc which have win xp its working great... so that mean's your driver has a problem... it's about compatibility....

I cought some virus and I think it was hidden in power saver and after the infected file was deleted, I turn on my notebook and the first message what I see is that the toshiba power saver has an error and would be closed. I don't know what power saver it was, I've tried to install a driver for XP , but it doesn't match here.

What you are seeing as whitespace is the space reserved for glyph descenders on any element that is rendered within a text box (i.e., an inline element). By making the image "display:block" you eliminate that space because a block element doesn't have descenders. If that works to your satisfaction then you can give the logo an id, and create a CSS selector containing that block style.

Here are the list of my problems:-
1) App store is good but crashes all so often.
2) Youtube app cannot connect to net when my safari app is browsing with breeze.
3) Music app does not have recently played to recently added playlists.
4) When syncing with itunes "backup" thing takes like forever.
5) At times whole itouch is very slow takes like 2mins for it to play a song.
Anyone having similar or different problems?

I own Nokia N85 which just a year old. Yesterday I was restoring few selected contents from backup stored in my laptop, it was very slow. The restoration bar which indicates the current status of the restoration was indicates that something is in progress but it was stuck and nothing happened. I kept my device throughout the night and next morning a messages pop up in my laptop saying connection lost (connected through USB cable). However I disconnected but I see no difference. But my mobile stopped responding. When I switch it on it restarted but it switched off itself. I tried couple of time but it didn't work. Today evening when I reconnected by device with my laptop, it is kept on switching on and off. I am not sure why it is happening. May be the link was broken during the restoration process. Can somebody please help or tell me how can I restore my mobile.

SB Audigy Value CMSS Successfully Enabled in Vista, if you call it CMSS

I've been trying to enable CMSS (at least hear sound from all of the 4 speakers) for a long time and finally successed but in a very strange way.
Steps written below are spesific to my system (SB Audigy Value, Onboard Realtek ALC 850) but can? work similar way on others i guess. For SB Audigy Value 6 Feb. Vista drivers are installed. U can use old XP drivers as explained in the forum too.
I've been using my onboard audio device (realtek ac97) since I can't enable cmss on SB Audigy Value, so Realtek AC97 audio drivers were installed on my system. You can download Realtek AC97 audio drivers? from [url=ftp://202.65.94.22/pc/audio/623_Vista_APO.zip">ftp://202.65.94.22/pc/audio/623_Vista_APO.zip[/url]
Download and install it (first enable the device from bios if you haven't)
After installing the drivers,
-) Open "Playback Devices/Speakers(Realtek A'97 Audio)/Properties" window and open "Enhancements" tab.
2-)There's a "Speaker Fill" effect there. U can take sound from all speakers if u enable it on Realtek AC97 device. And let's import this to our SB Audigy Value device. I say "Import" because i noticed that?"Enhancements" tab is actually a set of registry entries which points to some features from Realtek device. So,
3-) Open registry editor. Go to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render\
Under the Render key the playback devices are listed as some numbers and letters like,
{50a7cf0-aad0-444c-a56b-ce655444d}
4-) U have to find your own device (realtek speakers) , for instance my device is represented by {50a7cf0-aad0-444c-a56b-ce655444d}.
(This is for Realtek ALC 850 model, may be different for other models?I guess)
5-) Under {50a7cf0-aad0-444c-a56b-ce655444d} key you can see "FxProperties" Key. Rightclick on it and export to a file. Save it as RealtekCMSS.reg for instance.
6-) Then find your SB Audigy Value Speakers device. (ES/LS whatever...)
Mine is {5ecbbccc-eca-446-aa2-a7390cf094f6}.
7-) Rightclick on it and select "Permissions"
Go to Advanced/Owner, and change the owner to administrators.
(Don't forget to select "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects)
8-) On "Permissions for {5ecbbccc-eca-446-aa2-a7390cf094f6}" window select "Administrators"
and select "Full Control" to allow. Then click OK.
9-)Close registry editor and open RealtekCMSS.reg in notepad.
0-) Replace {50a7cf0-aad0-444c-a56b-ce655444d}
????to {5ecbbccc-eca-446-aa2-a7390cf094f6} using replace function.
-)Save the file as SBAudigyCMSS.reg and execute it.
2-)Now go to
"Playback Devices/Speakers(SB Audigy)/Properties" and you'll see "Enhancements" tab.
3-)In "Enhancements" tab enable "Speaker Fill"
Open an mp3 and test your speakers. Other effects work too.
From now on you can disable your AC97 device from bios. But don't uninstall Realtek software.

The previous post is inaccurate:? CMSS includes many modes, which will work depending on the speaker configuration. This means that CMSS set?to ON on 5. speakers is not the same as CMSS on Headphones. The selection is done automatically, depending on your selected speaker configuration. For example CMSS on headphones uses HRTFs to produce the effect, while on multi-speaker systems it simply maps and pans the sound. From my experience, CMSS works?good on headphones, not only for games, but for music as well. It expands the soundfield, where on simple stereo and headphones you normally hear the sound inside your head. My opinion is, that CMSS sounds much better on headphones than on speaker systems.

Saound blaster audigy value windows vista 32 bit problem in driver compatibility!!!

i have installed the sb audigy value latest drivers july 9 2007?and it installed clean and then after a few restart it will detect again the standard?pci to pci bridge and sound devices... when i am using?xp this does not happenwhat is wrong with your drivers? i am installing the?drivers?again and again and same thing happen and my settings reverting always to 6 bit 48khz my card is 24 bit 96khz in the first install... and after a few restart?the setting for 24 bit and 96khz?will dissapear and the only available is 6 bit 48khz somtimes not working? kindly help me... plz... all my problem in windows vista 32 bit has been resolve this is the only one remaining...

Graphic drivers for the iMac is a regular question, and there are some tips and answers. I'd have skipped Vista, too much like beta and gone for 7, but you have it now....

Windows Vista vs. Sound Blaster Audigy Value = Problem

I am facing problems with SoundBlaster Audigy Value when using it with Windows Vista. However i have downloaded and installed latest drivers (Version No. - SB24_VTDRV_LB__04_0077) supporting this card but still it is functioning as good as it worked with windows XP .
Prob # : I can hear sound from my TV Tuner device but cannot perform recording , an error ("Cannot render audio capture system") is generated whenever i try to do so. I also tried to set recording control of my Tv Tuner device to sound card's "line in" parameter as i used to do in XP but in Vista my device shows nothing. Why ?
Prob # 2: Can you tell me where I can find "creative graphic equalizer" for this card which supports windows Vista or please provide a link to download it's
Prob # 3: Why we cannot enable "Bass Boost" using new Creative Audio Console while using Creative Inspire 4400 (4. Channel Speakers) like i used to do in windows XP ?

First thing to do: haveyour systemchecked out, if windows says the hardware is failing there may really be something wrong with it.
If the SB card works in an XP machine there may be a problem in the the PCI slot or controller on the motherboard, either way have a tech shop look at it. I have a Sony VAIO VGN-SZ430N/B notebook, and I'm trying to install Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook on it (Unfortunately, the notebook came with windows vista business from factory).
This notebook has a Texas Instruments PCMCIA controller.
Under "Device Manager" the PCMCIA controller is described as "Texas
Instruments PCI-8x2/7x2/6x2 CardBus Controller", but on Sony's
webpage the driver that seems to be related to it is "Texas
Instruments PCI74 Integrated FlashMedia Controller Driver".
It is kind of all in one solution from Texas Instruments (PCMCIA

Besides, I have another PCMCIA card from another manufacturer, and I was able to install its windows vista drivers with no problem.(It sounds that Creative labs' vista drivers is the problem root cause as I've tested this sound card on a different notebook with windows xp and It worked fine).

The best advice I can give is to fully remove ALL Creative software.We've compiled a list of entries that will cause problems here. It's very important before installing newer files.http://nomoregoatsoup.wordpress.com/...tall-problems/Then install some better drivers and see if that cures your issues. The 2.2.0002 drivers are really, really awful, 99% of people I've spoken to had problems with them. I personally like 2.5.0002 Hope this helps.

Your form is not shared so I have not been able to access it. But I have updated mine. There are now two approaches, one that follows on from the above method and updates each drop down list in each row. The second updates a separate dataset that the drop down list is bound to. This second approach requires the remerge() method which can cause problems if your code has updates some form properties like a borders color as these will be reset, but the code is simplier and you will only have one list to maintain. You seem to have some confusion between java and javascript, and when they run.
Java code runs only on the server, and produces an HTML page.
Javascript code runs on the client.
The two can not communicate. Specific to your example you seem to think that the java code will be executed by your onChange event.
This is not the case.
In order to run java code again you have make a request by submitting the form, or clicking on a link.

How to differentiate whether user entered '0' or no value in the parameter?

I need some clarification.On my selection screen I have 4 parameters( P_QTYLL,P_QTYUL,P_AMTLL,P_AMTUL). I have to check the values entered by the user in those fields and I have to display the user entered values in the next screen.My problem is if the user enters '0'(in any of the above fields) means '0' has to displayed in the next screen.But if he enters nothing means then nothing has to be displayed in the next screen.My problem is I am checking for '0', against the values(initial,'',space,0) for user entered value.But I am unable to differentiate the '0' and nothing(no value) even though I checked against the values(initial,'',space,'0').All the 4 conditions are treating both the '0' and 'novalue' the same.How to differentiate whether user entered '0' or entered nothing(no value).

you said your teamlead doesn't want the type to be changed to 'C'.so try adding one dummy variable of type c and pass your parameters value to this dummy variable and check dummy variable for value '0'.
eg:

I have a requirement where i need to get the user entered value in the Parameter of a concurrent program while submitting it. i tried to query the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table but in that it stores the ID values from the value set of the Parameter.
After submitting the Concurrent request when we click on the view Details button it opens a form where it displays the arguments in the parameter field . i want to get that string.

Add user-entered "Fill-In" values for "Choice" column to the list of available choices?

I have a "Choice" column in SharePoint where users need to select a name for a specific engagement when uploading a document. Since new engagements come up all the time, they need to be able to enter a new value and have that value available
to select as a Choice from the list the next time they upload a document. Is this possible in SharePoint?
Our organization does not allow custom code using Visual Studio, but I do have access to SharePoint Designer.

All available choices are specified in the list's schema. I.e. the "Choice" column is designed to operate with predefined values that are set in the schema. Of course, you can every time add a new choice to the list's schema programmatically, but that's a worst
practice.
In your case I suggest to add a list (kind of dictionary) containing all values available to pick out. Then, instead of "Choice" column, use "Lookup" column which points to the dicitionary-list. Once a new value is entered, add a new list item to the dictionary.
Next time this value will be available to pick out.

Here goes the details of the problem.
1. I have created two textfields(texttfield3 and textfield4) along with an email button in a fragment and binded to an XSD file.textfield3 and textfield4 are user entered fields.
2. On the design page I have created two more fields texfield1 and textfield2 and binded to another XSD.These two fields are read only fields.
3. On preview PDF screen whenever you click on the email button,you get a mail option with an xml file attached to it.
4. whenever you open the xml file,you will get the values of all the four fields.Its given below

How to keep user enter value in textbox even if JSP page get refreshed.

In My JSP Page i have one text(customer Name) and number of checkboxes and radio buttons.
My Problem is:
if user enter some value in Text Box and after that user clicks on some radio button becouse of some action on radio button page get refresh and also the value enter by user in text box get vanish.
I want keep text box value as it is even if page get refreshed becouse of some action.
Is it any setting in Strust framework for this.
I am using Struts Framework.

Sorry, I don't clearly understand the question and the horrible code (Java code doesn't belong in JSPs) doesn't make it more easy to understand.
Best what I can guess is that you need to learn about passing request parameters/attributes in JSP and the possibilty of storing attributes in the session. And based on the code, also learn how to separate the data, business and presentation layers properly.

Right click on your slider and select Visible Items >> Digital Display. The user can then operate the slide or enter a number in the digital display. In earlier versions of LabView, select Show instead of Visible Items.
