Audio Beahavior doesn't influence rotation

Question

Hi to all!
I'm trying to use the audio behavior on rotation, but it seems that it doesn't influence the graphics.
The purpose is to have a revolution indicator on the screen and by the time the revs increase/decrease the indicator moves up/down.
The strange thing is that if I use the same audio file (an engine noise of a car with revolutions up and down) on something else, for example a blur, the blur change according with the noise.
This is what I did:
- I have dragged and dropped the content "Altimeter 02".
- Then I have opened the "Altimeter 02" layer and I have selected "Dial"
- I have opened the "Dial" Inspector, and in the properties I have right clicked and selected "Audio"
- at this point I have dragged the audio file in the little square window of the Audio. I can hear the noise, see the istogram, everything seem fine.
and... when I play the video I can hear the engine noise, but the indicator continues moving with the same pace of before, totally indipendent from the audio.
Do anybody have an idea about what could be the reason???

Howdy,
As Mark pointed out, you need to make sure that you're applying the Audio parameter behavior to the dial's Rotation parameter. Also, the dial already had a behavior applied to it (named "Rotation" which makes this even more confusing to explain) that you will need to delete. Otherwise, the Audio behavior and the Rotation behavior will fight over control of the Rotation parameter.
Remember: behaviors can be combined, but in this case, you only want the Audio behavior driving the rotation of the dial, so one behavior will do the job.
To summarize, here are the steps:
1. Add the Altimeter 02 element to your project.
2. In the Layers List, open up the Altimeter 02 element.
3. In the Layers List, open up the Dial element inside the Altimeter 02 element.
4. Delete the behavior named "Rotation" from the Dial element.
5. With the Dial element selected, view the Properties tab in the Inspector.
6. Set the Rotation value to -170º (this sets the starting point for the dial).
7. Right-click on the Rotation parameter name in the Inspector and select "Audio" from the menu that appears.
8. Add the audio file to your project that you want to use as the source for the Audio behavior.
9. Point the Audio behavior at the audio clip (as you already described in your post).
10. Start playback and adjust the Audio behavior's Scale parameter to adjust how much the behavior will affect the Dial element's Rotation channel.
