Alguna sugerencia?
Daniel

  • No audio on Adobe Premier pro for some video

I have recorded a series of videos as an .MTS format and imported them on my computer. Some of the videos use audio from the onboard camera mic and some interview footage use a clip-on audio mic. When I play back the videos on premier pro cc, the onboard mic recordings are fine--but I hear nothing from the videos where I used the clip on mic. (the videos with the clip-on mic are in mono)
For the videos I recorded with the mono mic:
-I can clearly see levels that indicate audio is there.
-When I play back the video on the camera, the audio is also there, clear as day.
-For some reason, there is no audio when the computer plays back, even when I use VLC.
I searched on-line, but there does not to be much info on my specific issue. Can you suggest anything?

Try this - I had the same problem and it worked for me. Can you see waveforms in the suspect audio track in the Premiere timeline? If so, it's there and it's just a playback issue which could be a couple of things. Eg,
    - you won't hear audio if Premiere is still generating peak files (to check if this is your problem, check in the bottom right hand of the corner and you'll see a little yellow bar progressing and a message saying 'generating peak audio'). This can take several hours or even over night for a big project, eg with lots of Red .r3d media.
    - another reason is if the audio can't be played back without rendering. Is the playback bar at the top of the timeline yellow, green or red? If green, this could be your issue.  When you go to the go to the sequence menu and go to select 'render audio' is it greyed out? If so, you need to select the 'render audio' box in the 'general' tab of the 'preferences' pane from the menu. Then render your audio and you should be fine to play back. Does this help?

  • I have no audio coming on premier pro cc on my Mac Pro.

Im using Premier Pro CC on my Mac Pro and I'm getting no sound coming out of the app. All other apps like iTunes and quicktime are fine. Im using MOV and mp4 files and they have waveforms in the timeline but still no sound.

    Hi Mark,
Are the Audio meters working? Does the play head move?
Have you checked the Audio Hardware settings under Preferences?
    Thanks,
    Rameez

  • Multicam Sequence Audio Editing in Premier Pro CC

I have synced up all my video clips via audio (new feature in CC) and have gone through the whole video, selecting which shot I want at each point in the wedding ceremony.  However, I have 15 channels of audio and not one of them is the be all end all audio clip.  In fact most of the audio clips don't have any audio until a certain part in the service (for example, a singer's mic doesn't have audio till the person starts singing).  Some of my audio channels have terrible natural sound and I only needed the audio so that I could sync it up.  Calling Adobe, the guy told me I needed to come here because he couldn't help me.  I need help FAST!

There's no question in your post. Only a statement.
Not sure what you're wanting to know, but for what it's worth here's how I do multicam and have full control over ALL channels of the audio within the same timeline as the nested multicam clip. I sync all my clips stacking them on the timeline. I then ALT+Select ONLY the Video clips and right-click and select NEST. Now you should have one video clip and all your audio channels still laid out. Next, right-click on the nested video clip and select MULTICAM>Enable. Done. Now you can do your normal multicam edit and still have full view of your audio channels and just keyframe them off when you don't want to hear them, etc. Not sure if that answered your question, but then again, there was no question so hope this helps!

  • Premier Pro CC won't play / render audio or video after today's update

Foolishly I allowed CC to update my software ( CC 2014.2 )  and now it won't play or render video or audio.  It will allow me to scrub through and see the video, but the play button just turns to a square and does nothing..  Trying to render anything does even less.
This behavior can be repeated in both in the source window, as well as the program window when I scrub the timeline.
Premier Pro worked fine yesterday, with the same files.  I booted onto a back up drive that had my old CC program cloned...  And it still works fine..    I think it's safe to eliminate hardware issues as well as file / file types...
I have deleted the Premier Pro app and reinstalled, I have reset the preferences, I have dumped the media cache.
I have tried to set up new files, both on the internal hard drive, as well as an external...  ( both work fine with the old system backup )
    Still the same NON results...
Running on an iMac, using OS 10.8.5
Processor  3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory  32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated....

  • Getting random white noise in Premier Pro CS3 audio

I'm working with Premier Pro CS3 on a simple 15 minute slide show with approx. 150 pictures and 3 songs in WAV format. In each of the three songs, I'm getting 1-second bursts of white noise - on left or right or both channels - approx. 3-4 times in each song.  When played outside of Premier Pro, all songs are clean with no white noise.  None of the songs are too 'hot'; show three have good levels in Soundbooth. I've scanned all of the audio sections in Help and can find nothing that might explain the cause and I'd appreciate some guidance.  I've worked with previous versions of Premier Pro for years and have never run into this.  Thanks.

Have you updated your Creative driver? That would be one of the first things that I would do.
Next, in Soundbooth, do you see the noise in the Waveform? In PrPro, when you zoom in both vertically and horizontally on the Audio Track, do you see it in the Waveform?
Some folk have had great luck using ASIO4ALL as their ASIO driver. It has cleared up many issues with a broad range of equipment. I do not recall your exact problem, but then I might have missed that one. Note: after you download and install ASIO4ALL, you'll need to go to Audio Hardware and set it as your Input and Output. This driver has been very helpful on the Audition forum, and with all sorts of issues and some very esoteric hardware.
Hope that something helps, and good luck,
    Hunt

  • Premier Pro 2014 opens Audition CS6 when editing audio clip from Premier

I own Adobe CS6 Master Collection installed (for legacy projects) and I also have the CC subscription. When I am running Premier Pro CC 2014 and then try to edit an audio clip in Audition the CS6 version of Audition loads rather than the CC 2014 version. Any help or thoughts on why this is happening would be appreciated.
    KR

I detected this with photoshop--I think its an OS issue--The OS doesn't appear to recognize the two versions are different.  In my case, I had PSP CC loaded, but then loaded the 32 bit version of PSP CS6 (so I could scan directly into the program using "IMPORT")  Windows changed the default to the 32 bit version.  When I tried to change default using windows, windows would not show the CC version as an option--just the 32 bit version.  Without editing the registry, I couldn't find a way to force windows to ignore the 32 bit version and open the CC version.  My workaround was to always open the CC version from the icon and then click on the file I wanted open.  It appears that if any version of the program is already running, the recognized default won't open.  This might work for you on Audition.

  • Premier Pro deletes denoiser effect on part of audio on video when exporting

I am working with a project that has really bad audio. I have edited and used many noise removal tools in Adobe Audition CC and Premier Pro CS6 (Noise remover, EQ, and Denoiser) which had removed the majority of the noise on the audio. However, after exporting this project and playing it in Quicktime, Premier has seemed to discarded these noise removal effects in the first 5 seconds of the video.
To try and resolve this, I cut up the first 5 seconds and applied an additional denoiser effect to see if this would help. However it did not, and Premier completely disregarded all of the sound removal in all of the exported clip.
Does anyone know why it is doing this and how I can resolve this?

I would like to second this.
I used noise removal. My video is multiple different interviews. There are 5 cuts, to five different audio/video clips, each with noise removal effect on them. but, Only on 2 of the cuts, in the final export, for 3 seconds, the noise removal effect seems to "not work" when the clip starts, then it kicks on gently for the remained of the clip. (similar to what Khalil Jammal said, which is why I'm posting this.
Again, the noise removal fails to "start" only on SOME of the cuts/clips in the final export. It kicks on after about 2 or 3 seconds.
This is odd...it's as if the noise removal effect is having trouble communicating with the final export render. I don't get it. For now, i will have to go back to my "old way" of exporting the audio, cleaning it up in my DAW, then importing it back into Premiere.
This is also annoying as I am paying like, $30 a month for Premiere. This does not seem like something we should have to "work around", but rather, Adobe should fix this issue.

  • When I try to import video clips into Premier Pro 6 the audio and video aren't synced.

  • My video has no sound but i want to add the audio using premier pro

My video has no sound but i want to add the audio using premier pro.
when I want to import the file,it said:your video file has no audio.
But i want to add the sound to my video!!
Does anyone know how to solve this problem??

So you have a  video (.mov)  that some how you got from  Flash.
It has no sound on it.
Does the .mov import into Premiere?
If it does..you edit it in the timeline (sequence) and add audio to  the audio track(s) before exporting it.

  • Why am I not getting the audio when I send a video from Premier Pro to encor to make a DVD?

I created a video with only one audio track.  It plays perfectly in Premier Pro
Then I send it to encor to make a DVD.  When I play the video in the monitor in encor, there is not sound, audio track
What am I doing wrong.  I have done this successfully many times before

To further add to the equation if I go to System Preferences and switch my output from my MOTU Firewire to the internal speakers of my Mac Pro I can hear the clip I just dragged and couldn't hear before in the Timeline AND when I then switch back to the MOTU I can now hear that same clip I just dragged in the Timeline.  But if I drag a new clip from Events to Timeline then I cannot hear it again until I go through this same song and dance.
    Help?
Weird... It appears that there is a problem with the audio not being routed to the right output.
I don't have a MOTU interface, but could it be that there is an updated driver for it?
Also, I'd try to let OnyX run its cleaning and maintenance routines.
If all else fails, at least you can shorten the workaround: you don't need to go to system preferences to change the output for sound. Just option-click on the volume icon in the menu bar and select the desired choice.

  • Audio recording problem in premier pro cs4

The audio (voice using microphone) I have recorded using the sound mixer in premier pro plays back at a high speed for some reason. The voice sounds like "Alvin from the Chipmonks". Can anyone explain why this is happening?
    Joe

    Joe,
Unfortunately, you have posted to the Premiere forum. This was the precursor to PrPro. The MOD's will probably move this out to the PrPro forum, so more folk will see it and can respond.
Now, did you use a USB mic? Many have had issues with those.
Also, going back about a year, there was a similar thread, and the description was about the same - "chipmunk." I do not recall the flow of that thread, or the resolution, but will try to find it. I just hope that it was not before the forum changeover, as it is likely gone forever.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
[Edit] OK, I think that this is the THREAD.
