Audio driver error, code 10 error & Media device missing Error in Presario C772TU

Hello Hi to all,
I am Manikandan.D working in BOSCH India and new user for this forum.
I am having presario C7712TU model laptop, recently i reinstalled my Xp OS service pack 2.
after that i reinstalled all drivers, but it showing some error in audio device driver.
the error code is 10 and it is telling "media device missing"
I have installed UAA driver + conexant HD audio driver
Moreover i couldnt find any wireless LAN icon in network connection tab.
could any body help me..Since i am in Germany..Now helpless!
it is big trouble for me!!!

Yesterday i have installed Atheros driver...Now my wifi also turned on without any problem.
I think you doing great job for all the people. keep the same spirit and continue the support!
this has to be appreciated! why because some people they will break the head for the system problem.
you are giving solution for the headache not for the system!!!

You can also try doing a System Restore to an earlier date when the sound was working..If that fixes the problem then check if there are any windows updates listed..sometimes it may happen due to driver conflicts after updates. In that case you have to hide the conflicting update.
Note:
If you have HP Support Assistant installed on the computer(The Blue Question Mark) then open it ==> Complete all pending Updates & Tuneups==> Restart and Check. It may solve your problem

I got all drivers up to date including the BIOS, everything is working fine (the sound works, microphone works...) but this error is kind of annoying to my eyes so if anyone know how to fix it please help.
I tried to uninstall this and let windows update install it again => not worked, same problem.
I tried to re-install the Realtek driver (uninstall - restart machine - install - restart machine) => same problem
And another probelm which has not been solved yet is the Bluetooth icon keep blinking on battery mode (windows 7), you can see more in this thread

Boot to the recovewry media again and this time select the Reinstall drivers and applications option. Find the audio driver on the list of available drivers, put a tick in the box to its left and then click on the install button in the lower right hand corner of the window. The driver will be installed. Your list will be different than the following one, but this is only an example.

i just did a windows 8.1 reinstall, and now suddenly my audio doesnt work? i torubleshoot the issue and it suggests uninstalling and re installing, but i dont know how to do that cant find the driver software someone help?

Mac mini (late 2012) Windows 8 Pro: no HDMI audio & driver error

Mac mini (late 2012) server, installed boot camp on the second HD and gave entire HD to bootcamp partition.
Installed Windows 8 Pro from USB key created during installation from iso file, activated with Microsoft. Everything went smoothly, have one issue that I want to share, to see if anyone has been able to resolve. By the way, magic track pad, as expected only have basic functions supported, left and right click, scroll with two fingers, "tap to click" and secondary click with two fingers tap.
Only one issue so far but pretty major one. Audio through HDMI cable doesn't work, all sound plays via Mac-mini's internal speakers. Windows Device Manager shows error for "High Definition Audio Device" - The device cannot start. (Code 10).

Well, arguably bootcamp 5.0.1 does support Widows 7 or higher, there no reference anywhere that it doesn't.
I was able to fix issue by updating driver using intel audio driver. Everything works now...

Zoom H4n and audio driver error -2

I have a newish Intel Macbook with GB 09, and a Zoom H4n recorder that I have been using as an USB input device into GB with no problems.
However, GB no longer recognizes the H4n. The drill is to have GB open and connect the H4n to a USB port. The computer detects the device and asks if I want to use it as an input device. I say yes, and then this message appears:
"error code -2 was returned by the audio driver"
Is this a problem in the Mac? Do I need to reinstall something?

Did you by any chance ever find a solution to your problem with the H4n?? I'm having exactly the same problem. I think it might have something to do with a preference file. I didn't disconnect the zoom properly before unplugging it, and since then I am having the same problems as you??? Very frustrating....

Software Modem and Audio driver errors!!

I currently have a Toshbia Satellite A215 S7413. Running on Windows Vista. Recently when downloading intunes, I incurred Errors in my Software Modem and Realtek Audio within my device manager. Unable to update drivers. i currently have no sound. I need a detailed description on how to repairs these. Message reads "Windows cannot read the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be missing or corrupted. (code 39). Any suggestions?

There is a sticky at the top of this forum relating to K7N2G Sound Problem. It uses the same sound system as your board and should be able to help you.

Garageband Audio driver error

Whenever I try to open Garage Band 3 I get a error that says Garageband has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio Drivers. I have installeded all of the drivers correctly and they worked prior to getting Garageband 3. I also went to the Audio and MIDI drive utility and checked for any unused drivers.

I'm getting the same error!! I have never connected anything besides my external hard drive, where my music is kept and played through iTunes. I have no idea what's going on. I haven't saved any of my garageband songs on the external, but now it's acting up. Yeesh. This is the second problem I've encountered with the new mac books. Where can I get these "drivers"? My computer is less than a week old and everything should be running correctly!

G510 Windows 8.1 Pro X64 Conexant Audio Driver Error and Driver Update Request

When are we to expect some updates in the drivers for G510, specifically for both graphics (Intel and AMD)
Also I am using G510S's Lenovo Power Management for Windows 8.1(running with no issues) as Windows 8 version was not compatible and there is no Win8.1 version.
And there is an update available for Conexant Audio in windows update and after the update when ever I play music, a few seconds in the Audio Device stops(a red cross on volume icon) and then troubleshooter automatically runs and fixes the audio device and audio comes back.
Also I would like to request that you bring back Dobly Advanced Audio v2 that was available with WINDOWS 8 version of the driver. It was just much more convienient and I liked its graphics equilizer much better.

A game I've been trying to play always crashes, and the tech people told me to update my drivers. I updated my video card without a hitch, but for the audio drivers I get this error for my realtek high definition audio driver:

No one out there has any ideas what I can do? Apparently this should help me play my game, although it still crashes even after I updated my video card drivers, I don't see why my audio drivers would make it crash but it would still be nice to be able to update them just to be sure thats not the reason its crashing.

Out of nowhere I'm being constantly plagued by this annoying message in Logic 8.0.2 I haven't change anything in the past 2 weeks and was working fine all day yesterday.
Error - 5000 was returned by the audio driver. pops up and I have to clear it or I can't access the session. This has brought work to a standstill...
I've tried clearing out all the caches, disabling all background apps, repairing permissions, turned on the I/O buffer safety... nothing has helped. The only thing I haven't tried at this point is switching out to another interface...

The session is huge, and I called Apogee, at first we thought it might be a 3rd party plug-in. It's not...
I eventually noticed it happens in only certain sections of the song, and hadn't noticed there is a crash cymbal I pulled in which is playing from the server. I had logic copy the file to the local drive and now we're all good... Thankfully so too!
Funny thing is, This session has been playing fine with the file from the server for months. Also, all the permissions for the folders and files where the sample is are all set to read/write... <shrug> And why would this return an Audio Driver error? More apple permissions weirdness...
But at least it's fixed, Thanks for the help guys.

This will create a swsetup folder in c drive ("C:\swsetup\sp34200")
Installing Audio drivers may result in an error. But continue with the following steps to get the audio driver installed correctly.
Open the Device Manager:
1. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
2. Right click on "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" and click Update driver.
3. Select "Install from a list or specific location"
4. Click Next. Then select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install"
5. Click Next and then select "Sound, video and game controller" from the list.
6. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
7. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp34200 folder and select the .inf (wis30b2a) file and click open and Continue with the onscreen instructions.
Similarly install Modem Drivers:

Audio driver/settings

Hi all,
My problem is that when I attempt to run 2 programs simultaneously that want to use my Tascam US-122L (USB audio interface) for audio output I receive an “Audio Driver Error” message saying “The following driver(s) either do not support the current audio format, or are in use by another application. Please choose whether you want to disable them or use them anyway.” If I select to “use them anyway” I will only receive audio output from the program I opened first e.g. I always receive this error message if I open Cakewalk Sonar then open iTunes with Sonar running. Any ideas?

Where can I find the Audio driver for a dv9865ek on XP?

HP support doesn't have the audio driver for my laptop, which is a pavilion dv9865ek with XP64 installed.
Any idea where I can find it or find out what the model of my sound card is?

If "Realtek High Definition Audio" is listed under the "Sound, video and game controllers" in the Device Manager then that is your sound driver. Some people have had luck with uninstalling the Realtek HD audio driver from their computer via the Device Manager (be sure to check the "Delete driver software for this "), and then reinstalling it. You can get the latest version of the Realtek HD audio driver from the Realtek download site.
Many of us who have the Realtek HD sound driver have had to make several tweaks to improve the sound. Opening the Realtek HD Manager and enabling Loudness Equalization and setting the equalizer to Powerful helps with some of the low audio issues some of us have experienced with the Realtek HD sound drivers.
