Hi, Jiju:
Does your sound device show up in the device manager with the exclamation mark?
If so, please click on it, then click on the details tab.
Post the top string of characters you see. That string indentifies the manufacturer of the device and the device model.
With that info, hopefully we can find the correct driver for it.

Hello ! I am planning to add a SSD to my two-years-old HP Pavilion 15-e073ca Notebook PC. I found on some sites that I can remove the optical drive and put a second drive using a caddy adapter into the optical drive bay. I found that some people on the forum have done it successfully, but nothing about my PC model. I want to know if it could work with my product. In other words, there is my plan:1-Remove the actual HDD from the hard drive bay and replace it with the new SSD.2-Remove the optical drive and replace it with the caddy adapter containing my old HDD.3-Do a clean install of Windows 10 on the SSD, using a USB recovery flash drive made with my actual Windows 10 system (which was updated from Windows 8.1). I am planning to buy the following parts:1- a HDD / SSD caddy adapter for HP Pavilion 15 (model OBHD9-SATA-SATA-BU9), from NewmodeUS (http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_5&products_id=583)2- a 128 GB SSD drive (item SDSSDHP-128G), from SanDisk (http://www.sandisk.com/products/ssd/sata/ultra-plus/?capacity=128gb) I have some questions before buying the parts:1- Will the two drives (my old HDD and the new SSD) be recognized by the motherboard / BIOS and the operating system (Windows 10)? Is there a limit of one unique HDD/SSD drive on the computer?2- The height of the SSD is 7mm, and it seems that my old HDD is 9.5mm height (model WDC WD10JPVT-60A1YT0). Would it cause any problem (would I need to add spacers)?3- Do these parts work together and with my computer (size, compatibility)? Do you expect any problem with this upgrade?4- Will the clean install of Windows 10 work, since I plan to install it on a different drive than the one I used to create the USB recovery flash drive? Use the W7 32 bit drivers and software from the Probook 450 G2 except the graphics, firmware and BIOS files.

First install the Intel chipset installation utility from the above model and reboot.
Second, install the Intel HD graphics driver and reboot.

Hi All,
I am new to benefits. I would like to know, some information about compensation model in benefits. We have 401k salary,hourly,catchup,Deferredcompensation Bonus and Salary Plans in infotype 169. I am using /102 wagetype as Technical base. Can anyone explain why a compensation model needs to be created in SAP? and all the Plans in infotype 169 requires a compensation model. Appreciate your help.

Benefit Compensation Model: A compensation model is a set of wage types that represents either earnings or working hours. There are therefore two types of compensation model:
1. Compensation model for earnings
2. Compensation model for working hours
The values for a compensation model are stored on a compensation wage type and can be used as the basis for further calculations as follows:
1. Earnings can be used to determine pensionable earnings for retirement plans and/or salary-based contributions.
2. Working hours can be used to determine length of service for retirement plans (using the hours-counting method).

Your PC is not supported by HP for Windows 7 and Windows 7 32 bit will be particularly harder to find drivers for since OEMs have moved on to furnishing 64 bit operating systems on their PC's.
I can't get to the support pages to find out what model wireless network card your PC has, but here are the links to some of the drivers you need.
1. Install the AMD chipset drivers and reboot. These should install the smbus and usb 3 controllers.

There is no 32 bit support for your model.
You will have to experiment with drivers from business models and drivers from the hardware component mfr's websites.
You can try these for starters:
1. Chipset driver. Install first and reboot.

Audio drivers for Compaq C770LA for Win XP Pro / integrated mic not working

Hello. I have downgraded a Compaq C770LA to Win XP Pro SP3. Almost everything seem works perfect, but I have tried several audio drivers and still can´t get to control or use the integrated mic which this notebook has. I can hear audio and even record, etc, but there is no way to use or get to the integrated mic and some of the volumen controls I was used to (as "Record whats been listened") are lost. Does anybody knows wheter I have to change the driver or if it´s going to be any difference if I install for example the smartaudio add-on? I tried HP but they replied they don´t provide drivers for notebook for Operating Systems other than the one they gave the notebook with.

Drivers for hp pavilion dv6910us for window7 64bit upgrade

Hi,
Have a pavilion dv6910us laptop that I upgraded to windows 7 professional 64 bit. Everything works except the internal microphone. It appears to be a driver problem because audio and video (camera) all works ok. HP doesn't seem to have upgrade drivers for this model. Is there another option for anyone who upgrades thier laptop?

You should be able to use the drivers and software from this model on yours...

When you go to install the graphics you have to install these drivers in this order and reboot after each installation.
1. Intel chipset installation utility.
2. Intel HD graphics driver.
3. Nvidia HD graphics driver.

Audio Drivers for an XP install of a dv7t-1200?

I had to reformat my laptop and since Vista is still a mediocre at best OS, I decided to switch back to XP. Unfortunately, it seems as though HP has no audio drivers for this operating system. Is there any known way to get audio working on a dv7t-1200 under windows XP? Thank you in advance
