Audio During You Tube Access

Have viewed several youtube videos on my iphone(3G) and
the audio doesn't show up. I dont see and audio level adjust
on these youtube videos as I do when viewing them on my
desktop/laptop. Any hints?

This program tells me that I do have Adobe Flash Player installed in my computer, but why then do I not have audio in You Tube videos?
I do have audio in Windows Media Player and in Amazon Cloud Player.

you have to set it manually (mouse over the speaker icon and the volume slider will appear to the right). Google (who runs YouTube) has acknowledged a code error that is setting all of their pages to "mute" and until they fix it on their end, you'll have to set the volume yourself.

I download Fx3.6.15 and the problem happen with the last flash plugin, blocking the cookies to youtube.com and deleting the cookies already stored made posible to play all videos

When going to You Tube I can see most videos on my iPad2 - however when I go to "most viewed" I get an error message stating - you do not have permission to access the requested resource. Why ?

NO AUDIO on You Tube videos

#1. My volume works - because I can listen to my music files in Windows Media Player
#2. I have unistalled and reinstalled Adobe FlashPlayer 10 ActiveX (SEVERAL TIMES to no avail)
#3. I have manipulated my volume controls withing START>MY COMPUTER etc.go
#4. While YouTube videos playing, I go to bottom of video and go to volume ICON and note that control is all the way to top of setting.
#5. While YouTube video is open, I right click & go to GLOBAL STORAGE settings
and have tried manipulating those settings.
After these several steps....STILL NO SOUND / AUDIO
PLEASE HELP to understand if I am doing anything wrong. Assistance appreciated!

Hi, So Add/Remove lists FP(Flash Player) vs 10.0.45.2. Ok that is the latest.
In your Flash folder, the files for IE are correct.
The Flash files for FF (or other browsers) may be correct. You forgot to complete a couple of steps. Take a look back at
my post#3 to you. Right clicking on the NPSWF files. when right-clicking on NPSWF32.dll, all I get is a drop down starting with 'OPEN WITH..." and I click that and a CAUTION box appears, stating"you are trying to open a file of type 'Application Extension'(dll) etc. So not sure what to do there. Only other file is one, named NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe
Also using FF to check on the SWF in plug-ins. TO do this, how do I proceed in FF, navigate to TOOLS? Or?
Now the add on in IE vs 10.0.22.87 is the listing for Shockwave Flash Object, right? When inIE8, I go to TOOLS>MANAGE ADD ONS, under NAME: Shockwave Flash Object. Under PUBLISHER: Adobe Systems Inc. Under STATUS: Enabled.
For some reason that was never Uninstalled and is an old version. So, am I interpreting this part correctly? I need to
do an uninstall? I just went into my ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and verify I only have ONE version of FLASH PLAYER which is 10.0.45.2 (I believe I need to uninstall & reinstall an updated version?) Thanks for all your insights...

n folders I can listen to in Windows Media Player. I can adjust my volume up & down etc. I
go to YouTube to watch and listen....NOTHING, no audio.
#1. I do have latest Flash Player installed
#2. I did uninstall and reinstall it.
#3. I have gone into START>MY COMPUTER and adjust volume settings etc.
#4. While a video plays in YouTube right-clicked and gone into Global Settings
and turned up volume there etc.
Anything else I am missing?

You can click the Volume icon on the Windows Taskbar near the clock and click the Mixer link at the bottom to open the mixer. 
You can adjust the volume level for each application in that window, so make sure that Firefox is not muted or set at a low level. 
Current Firefox versions use the plugin-container process to run plugins, so you need to check the volume setting for the plugin-container process. 
You will only see the Firefox program or the Plugin Container in the Mixer if you are on a website that plays sound.

I have no sound in You Tube?

I run a MacBook Air through a 27" Thunderbolt monitor. I have excellent video and audio performance for every video except those on You Tube. On You Tube, I have no audio for any video. I have reinstalled the newest Flash Player and have audio with Adobe videos. I have no idea why I have no audio on You Tube. Any help would be appreciated.

One time on my mom's macbook pro that happened. Try restarting your laptop, sometimes the audio stops working. Also on my grandma's Ipad that happened and it worked after I restarted it.

There's no way to actually revert to the older version. Un-install the current version and install the older version. You can use '''View all versions''' on the AMO page for that theme to obtain the older version you were using.

Update software. If that doesn't work try resetting. Mine started working after the update.

HT1349 My ipod touch 4th gen, will not let me access facebook or you tube it just takes ages to load then fails. I have reset the ipod but its still doing the same. Its only two months old, does anyone know how to fix it?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Video tube/you tube no audio

I have installed and re-installed video tube on my iPad several times and each time it installs from the cloud without audio. I am running IOS 6.1.0 and I understand that I cannot hide the app so each time it installs without audio. I assume that the install uses the same app with the failure. I would like to be able to view and hear you tube videos on the iPad.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

When I view or upload files (such as on You Tube) there is no longer normal image movement. All action has a "strobe" effect as in slow motion, but audio seems normal. Is this a plug-in problem?

All of a sudden when I view a file that's been downloaded, or viewed on line, whether in Windows Media, or on You Tube on line site, or Power DVD Play program, the image appears as if it was in a slow motion "strobe" effect, while the audio sounds consistent, (barring the frequent stalls). If I burn a DVD, it has the slow motion strobe effect burnt into the disc as well & is difficult to view on a DVD player. Is this a plug-in problem that has suddenly manifested, and is there a way of getting the system back to it's normal operation??

Try disabling all add-ons (that's extensions, plugins and themes, go into ''Tools > Add-ons'') except for Flash and see if the problem persists. If they don't, enable one add-on at a time until you find the problem. If they do, try a new [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles Firefox profile] and see if it has the same issues. If it does (make sure other plugins aren't enabled), you need to contact Adobe for support on their Flash plugin ([https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ updating] it will be the first thing they tell you to do). If it doesn't, please tell me.
