Audio Echo

I have a 20 slide document with audio on all slides.
Everything is perfect until I publish to executable file. Then, on
one slide the audio echos through the whole slide. This only
happens to the one slide and you don't hear it in it's original
form.
Any ideas?

Welcome to our community, Janice
You might try exporting the audio clip from that slide to the
desktop. Rename it. Then remove the audio clip and import it back
in as a new clip for that slide.
I seem to recall seeing that as a solution for something like
what is happening to you.
Cheers... Rick

  • Resolve audio echo in 4s handset, not Bluetooth or headset?

    Has anyone figured out how to fix the audio echo in the 4s handset? This is my second unit.

    Did you find a solution to this problem? have exactly the same issue!

  • Flash videos playing with audio echo on initial load.

    I have been having issues playing Flash videos in the current version of Firefox (10.0) as well as the previous version (unknown) over the past few months.
    When I open a page with a video it will begin playing with an echo as if two videos are playing at the same time with a slight delay on the second video causing an audio echo effect. So basically one video with echoing audio. The websites that I experience this the most are yahoo sports (happens practically every time) and gamespot (happens occasionally). If I refresh the page the echoing effect goes away.
    I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
    I have updated video drivers on my ATI Radeon HD 5800 series.
    My flash player / shockwave is 11,1,102,55 (updated) but I know I have experienced the same problem with previous versions.
    I have the following plug-ins enabled:
    1. Adobe Acrobat 10.1.2.45
    2. Current version of Ad-Block
    3. Divx Plus Web Player 2.2.0.52
    4. Divx VOD Helper Plug-In 1.1.0.6
    5. Microsoft Windows Media Player Firefox Plug-In 1.0.0.8
    6. Quicktime Plug-In 7.7.1 / 7.7.1.0
    7. Real Player 32 Bit Plug-Ins (4 total plug ins) 15.0.0.198
    8. Veetle Plug-Ins (3 total plug ins) 0.9.17.0
    I have some others as well but I thought these were the only relevant ones.
    Can anyone help me with my problem?

  • Video audio echo iPad

    Hi,
    I've just purchased a second hand Ipad2.  Everything seems fine but I've noticed occasionally if I pause a film whilst using the Video app, I get an audio echo when the film is restarted.  This can be resolved by repausing and shifting the film along its time line but its a bit annoying !
    Any ideas ?

    That's weird.
    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    By the way, are you confident that the iPad has not been jailbroke?

  • Audio echo during capture CS3

    During capture I get this terrible audio echo.  If I go into the Windows mixer panel and set a slider called Premiere down to zero that will stop it.  But if I then wish to hear the audio (from Premiere) after the capture I have to turn it up again.  Sureley this is not the correct way to do it.
    It seems as though the input audio is being monitored and the delayed Premiere output at the same time.  This will only happen when the capture screen is open.
    Anyone any idea how to stop this without constantly playing with the mixer?
    Very annoying.

    Problem is only while the capture screen is being used. The delay is very pronounced.
    So, your Captured footage does not exhibit this echo. Is that correct? Obviously, you have a latency issue. What are your Audio playback settings? I would also wonder about the Matrox card, as these have caused all sorts of Audio issues, though I do not recall any with Capture.
    If the first statement is true, then your footage is clean and good, and all you have to do is adjust the necessary settings during Capture.
    Good luck,

  • Audio echo in Lync meetings

    I have an iMac 27" purchased brand new from Apple in early 2014. It’s a fine machine, but there’s an audio problem that’s killing  my collaboration with coworkers. I’m hoping somebody here can help me resolve this. AppleCare couldn’t.
    Most of the folks in my company are PC guys. We all use Microsoft Office365, specifically Lync. I have Lync for Mac 2011 installed on my iMac via Office365. I can see other users, I can join meetings, I can start meetings, I can share audio and video. All of that seems to work fine.
    What’s killing me is that all of my colleagues report a terrible echo in a Lync meeting when they're speaking and I'm not muted. This  happens when joining a meeting via the Lync Web App (after clicking Join Lync Meeting in an Outlook message). Maybe the Web App is a factor, don’t know. But I believe it also happens with the Lync desktop app.
    My voice comes through loud and clear, no issues. But when they speak while I’m not muted, they hear themselves on about a one second delay. To prevent this, I have to mute myself in Lync and generally not speak during collaboration sessions. That’s, shall we say, less than ideal.
    Here's what I've tried:
        •    Rejoining the meeting
        •    Turning down my Input volume in System Preferences
        •    Uninstalling the Boom app, which I thought might be messing with my audio
        •    Turning downy the audio volume within the Lync Web App
        •    Futzing around with the Lync preferences
        •    Changing my default browser from Safari to Firefox so the Lync Web App uses the latter browser
    My Sound preferences look like this:
    Nothing has worked. Audio on my MBP 15” Retina, purchased at the same time as my iMac, comes through fine, even with my Input volume cranked up to the highest level. My MBP System Preferences let me set “Use ambient noise reduction” for audio, which probably helps. That option is missing on the iMac, probably because the iMac mic has built-in noise reduction, or so I’m told. Ticking that option felt like my last hope, and it’s not even available on my iMac. Lowering my Input volume helped a bit, but then folks have real trouble hearing me, and the echo is still there. It's maddening.
    Any ideas about what might be causing this annoying audio issue? More importantly, any idea how to fix it?
    If this indicates that my iMac is defective in some way, I want to get that taken care of post haste. I appreciate any help you folks can offer. It would be good to be able to talk in meetings again.
    Thanks.

    Did you find a solution to this problem? have exactly the same issue!

  • Audio Echo In P2P Apps

    I've been making a few p2p applications in flex that have to do with audio sharing between clients, and I've got a nasty issue with echo that I can't seem to subdue. We are able to minimize the effects by having every end user plug in their headphones, which effectively cuts off the speakers feeding audio back into the microphone, but this is inefficient, and most users are on laptops that have a built in webcam, speakers, and microphone. We've also managed to reduce this (only minimally) by using the echo cancellation feature in the settings (or through actionscript). Is there any way we can get better quality audio like skype has or google talk? It seems like they have some built in echo cancellation features that really manage to squash all of that echo. Am i just missing some trick that would cancel it?
    I've also done quite a bit of work through fms, and we are experiencing the same issues there. I know echo has been a time old problem since the invention of the phone, and alot of research and money has gone into fixing it, it just seems like we don't have it in flash player, and to me this is probably one of the most important features to have if we're going to be using flash clients for communication.

    Adobe Connect Pro provides echo cancellation by extending Flash player. Unless Adobe business model changes, I doubt echo cancellation will be supported in plain Flash player.

  • .swf audio echo/HTMLPanel (Experts needed)

    I have a bizzare issue (aren't they all?)
    I apologize in advance for not being able to post an example. It's proprietary content built on a custom platform using Spry Framework. I can't post it or I'd be fired. That being said, I have been able to duplicate the issue using a bare-bones example with just a simple HTMLPanel widget and a single panel content file.
    This issue is only occuring in IE7 (my company's default browser.) and I suspect it's some kind of network/server issue at the root of the problem, but I can't prove that... yet.
    The issue is pretty simple. I have a swf that contains an embedded sound (issue seems immune to Stream or Event sound types) which is contained in the content fragment to be loaded into the HTMLPanel. The swf should just auto-play once the fragment is loaded in the panel.
    When loading the above referenced fragment of the panel content file (which I'll refer to as a "page") into the HTMLPanel, there are TWO ?instances? of the sound that play... resulting in an echo.
    Observations/Facts
    Using Spry v1.6.1
    IE7 specific. No issue in Firefox or Chrome (unfortunatly, those are non-standard browsers in my world.)
    Have tried using both swfObject and a bare-bones object/embed tag on the content page with the same result.
    When viewing the same swf in an html page (the aboved referenced panel content file) in a single browser window (not the HTMLPanel), there is no echo.
    Co-workers in another remote location (where the server is co-located) do not experience this issue -or- there really are two sound instances but they are perfectly sync'd, thus no (perceptible) echo.
    Moving the mouse around the screen and triggering some other event (like a rollover) shuts off one of the sound instances, leaving one playing.
    Clearing the IE7 browser cache *sometimes* eliminates the problem... until returning to the "page". So, it'll play once correctly.
    The two instances of the audio track are staggered (thus the echo). By a second or two... consistantly.
    Have confirmed only one instance of the swf is being instantiated.
    Unable to "find" a second instance of the sound object when using remote Flash debugger.
    Moving the sound away from frame 1 to any other frame does not eliminate the issue.
    Forcing the swf to stop (not letting it play on it's own... require user to press a play button) eliminates the issue.
    I've tried debugging with Firebug-lite but can't find anything that would give me a clue. I'm stumped. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'll be happy to provide any additional info I can.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hey there,
    Apologies for the delayed reply. I opted to NOT look at the computer this weekend.
    Let's see...
    Observers: I do happen to have an onPostUpdate observer assigned to the panel object that does some other page validation type stuff each time a new page is loaded into the panel. But, are you referring to adding the observer to the panel object or somewhere in the fragement that get's loaded into the page?
    I do have evalScripts set to true... which brings up sorta a good question.
    Assume for a moment that I use swfObject to embed my swf into the fragment and that the swfObject script executes as it should. Wouldn't that essentially be doing the same thing as an observer?
    For example...
    Load new content fragment into the HTMLPanel object
    evalScripts (true) allows swfObject to execute
    Object tag written
    swf plays
    What am I missing? Perhaps I have my DOM events out of order.
    You get as many guesses as you'd like!

  • Audio echo. every two hours my audio on all my sequences echo. Please help!

    I am currently using final cut 6.0.3
    This just started happening. I tried trashing the preferences as well. The weird thing is that the audio goes back to normal and back to echo whenever it wants, or so it seems.
    thanks
    Brad

    Well, I am VERY particular about keeping my electronics MINT. I have never not used a protective case and I have to say it is almost heart breaking to imagine the scratchs my Touch will have on that shiny back after just one day without a case...........but I am desperate. I must say I really do love my Touch. It is my 15th Media player and beyond all comparison the best Media Player I have ever owned and I am willing to do whatever is necessary to remedy this situation and be able to use my Touch as intended once again.
    What gripes me the most is that I paid premium price for this iPod Touch and it has virtually no Tech support. It baffles me. I had ONE tech support phone call available within 90 days and I used it on the first Touch so now I can't phone tech support , you cannot e-mail tech support , my only option is to place a service request and send it to AppleCare and you can't give a decent description of the problem even then because you are limited to 200 characters and I am damned tired of sending it back and forth. Is it really so hard to offer decent Tech support for these $400 and $500 Media Players? Dozens of other manufactures manage to do it so why can't Apple? They've got an AMAZING product , why not give it AMAZING support? Thats all I'm saying.

  • CS4 Audio echoes while capturing

    Hello, The audio sounds like an echo while I am capturing, the second voice is heard about 1 -  2 seconds later.  How can I get rid of this problem?  The recorded material does not have this problem.  Please help me get rid of the duplicate sound.  Thanks

    There have been reports of a lot of issues with Audio and Matrox. Often, getting the latest Matrox driver will clear these up, but sometimes, that is not good enough.
    Good luck,

  • Audio Echo Issue

    Hi,
    I'm building a audio/video chat. When I use the Audio sample which is in LCCS SDK, I faced some problems.
    When we increase gain then echo increases even with the headset. But when we reduce the gain to 50% then echo problem is very little bit but the volume is so low that we have scream a bit to get heard. Is there any way to increase the volume and also keep the echo low. With the same internet speed we are able to hear in skype loud and clear-without echo or volume problem.
    Do we have any other levers of control beside gain to play with echo and volume? We have echosupression ON on both the sides. We are using exact same code as in the LCCS sample called " Audio/Audio.mxml"
    We used both the codecs SPEEX and NELLYMOSER but didn't get any help. we have faced same echo and volume issues.
    Thanks,
    Sanjay

    QuoteI will be very surprised if they update the BIOS.It does not look like it is even need. This is not even the latest 8.15F (2011-03-19) and it does recognize the Xeon pretty well:

  • Audio-Echo Cancellation/Gain Control

    I've recently downloaded skype to make phone calls. Unfortunately, the people i'm calling are complaining that there is an echo on their end of the call. Skype suggests changing the audio settings in preferences and checking off the boxes for echo cancellation and gain control. When i've gone into preferences, i do not have the option of echo cancellation/gain control. Anyone know how to access these options or any other way to reduce echo in using audio for phone calls?
    thanks

    More complete code:
    netConnection = new NetConnection();
    netConnection.connect("rtmp://whatever.com/phone");
    incomingNetStream = new NetStream(netConnection);
    incomingNetStream.client = this;
    incomingNetStream.bufferTime = 0.2;
    incomingNetStream.play("play");
    incomingNetStream.receiveAudio(true);
    outgoingNetStream = new NetStream(netConnection);
    outgoingNetStream.bufferTime = 0;
    mic = Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone();
    mic.codex = SoundCodec.SPEEX;
    mic.framesPerPacket = 1;
    mic.setSilenceLevel(0);
    var options:MicrophoneEnhancedOptions = new MicrophoneEnhancedOptions;
    options.echoPath = 256;
    options.nonLinearProcessing = true;
    mic.enhancedOptions = options;
    outgoingNetStream.attachAudio(mic);
    outgoingNetStream.publish("publish", "live");

  • Audio echo cancellation not working over rtmp

    I'm doing a audio conferencing app, using RTMP to our server (freeswitch) and getting a bad echo from anyone using speakers & mic- headsets don't cause the echo.  I've also tried 3rd party audio chat apps and they have echo too.
    I'm using getEnhancedMicrophone() and have played with all the Microphone & MicrophoneEnhancedOptions I can find.  I followed this article carefully: Best practices for acoustic echo cancellation in Flash Player | Adobe Developer Connection
    Does echo cancellation work over RTMP or only over RTMFP?
    Here's code I use to connect to send and receive our server's stream:
    netConnection = new NetConnection();
    netConnection.connect("rtmp://whatever.com/phone");
    incomingNetStream = new NetStream(netConnection);
    incomingNetStream.client = this;
    incomingNetStream.bufferTime = 0.2;
    incomingNetStream.play("play");
    incomingNetStream.receiveAudio(true);
    outgoingNetStream = new NetStream(netConnection);
    outgoingNetStream.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, netStatus);
    outgoingNetStream.addEventListener(AsyncErrorEvent.ASYNC_ERROR, asyncErrorHandler);
    outgoingNetStream.bufferTime = 0;
    outgoingNetStream.attachAudio(mic);
    outgoingNetStream.publish("publish", "live");
    Is anyone successfully using RTMP with echo cancellation?  Can you send a link so I can try it?
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks,
    Ken

    I am not sure about echo cancellation directly at RTPM level but you may also try echo cancellation solutions that can be integrated with freeswitch. Take a look at their wiki. For example they mention PBXMate integration to cancel echo and noise, etc.

  • Iphone 3gs, audio echo on playback but ok on my computer, all other audio on ipod ok.

    My Iphone 3gs ipod has an echo when I playback 2 different audio downloads, these play without echo on my computer, all other audio on iphone ipod are ok.

    Never mind, after two hours searching I found the answer to my question. Adjusted the playback speed, I thought that was the problem but didn't know where to adjust it. FYI - now playing screen (don't know what to call it), to the right and below the progress bar there is a little box that has a number and an x in it this is the playback speed. Hope this helps any other novice out there. If there is no gray area at the top of the now playing screen with progress bar touch your screen and it should show up.
