Audio extracted and deleted but short noise remains randomly at edit point

the more I paste over at playhead and extract audio the audio bug occurs at edit point which then cant be deleted (titles or transitions not used)
Can anyone suggest how ot fix this

Thanks for your reply.
I have zoomed in on the timeline and the audio files are always completely deleted.
I extract audio a lot when making a programme as I feature interviews with inserts pasted over at playhead. It seems the more I do this the more likleyhood of this audio bug occuring randomly. If you had any workaround ideas they would be much appreciated.
I dont use transitions or titles when this fault occurs

Well could it be another Adobe I had before? I bought software and in that under tools on the far right had all kinds of options. Also under view and window. Then I bought another adobe product to try and convert a PDF into a word doc and now under tools that is all it wants to do and my view and window options have changed. Not to mention the new software i bought isn't converting it just spins. So I am bummed that neither is working for me. It is more important for me to be able to extract pages then it is to convert. Which adobe product allows this? Maybe I can unistall and reinstall the Adobe software I spent 300 dollars on vs the 19.99 product.

Hey guys, I wrote a big long speech trying to be more clear and was just getting more confusing. LOL
Hopefully this image makes my question a bit easier to understand. In green you can see how the up and down arrow keys land while in Final Cut. In red how they land while in Premiere. I'd like them to land like Final Cut. Thanks!

Line item extract and delete query

If you change the default view for a scenario and line-item detail has been entered,
you should first extract the line-item detail and save it. Then delete the line-item
detail from the scenario before changing the view. You must change the extracted
line-item detail to match the new default view before loading it.

Audio location and deleting

Quick question: If I import an audio file into my movie that's located on the desktop (or any location for that matter), can I delete it from desktop and it still be in the movie?
Basically, does iMovie, when you import an audio file, store or copy it into it's own location?

PrPro requires that you have the correct channel-count on the existing Audio Track to match your source files. If you do not have such an Audio Track, PrPro will create one for you, if you drag that Clip to the lower portion of the Master Track.
Now, let's say that your Sequence has one 1-channel Audio Track in the default layout (mono), that will be your Audio Track 1, with the 2-channel (stereo) Tracks of the correct number below, and possibly 5.1 Audio Tracks, if you set the default Sequence settings.
On the Track Headers for Audio Tracks, there are little icons, one "speaker" = 1-channel (mono), two "speakers" = 2-channel (stereo) and "5.1" = 6-channel (5.1) Tracks. You can ONLY place an Auido file onto the matching channel-count.
Here is a look at the icons in the Audio Track Headers:
If you wish to move the Audio Tracks around, you can do so via Create Tracks, and locate them, as needed. There is currently no way to click-drag Audio, or Video Tracks, like in many DAW programs.
If you use, say a lot of 1-channel material, you might want to change your default Sequence Tracks setup.
Also note, you can change the name of any Audio, or Video Track, but with Audio, you cannot change the channel-count, once the Track has been creatad - only Delete it.

Audio bin and delete

logic 8 - when I select audio in the audio bin and choose delete files - it seems to search ALL drives for many seconds before it deletes.... this should take 1 second - right? How do I fix this?

Sounds like your drives were asleep then - you can alter that in the *Energy Saver* prefpanel.
I don't think the delete function relies solely on the path stated in the bin - I guess it doublechecks the location using some OS X functionalities, that focus on the actual file, not it's path. After all, you can easily rename your disk (or any part of the path, for that matter) in the Finder while still working on a Logic project. It should still find all the right files...
If your disks are not asleep, it would be much faster I guess; they don't have to spin up, no data has to be written or read to RAM or caches, they're 'primed'. But I do guess - so disable sleep mode for your disks and see if that helps any.

Mail, I have recently been receiving inappropriate mail which I have put to junk and deleted but they keep on coming sometimes 3 or 4 a day, how can I get rid of these once and for all. I am a lady of advancing years and do not want this.

I have recently started to receive inappropriate mail. Although I have never opened it I can tell that it is of a pornographic nature. As well as this I constantly receive mail offering me P**** enlargement drugs. Since I am a lady of advanced years I want neither of theses !!! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this unwanted stuff. I receive at least 4 of them everyday and am quite frankly fed up putting them into junk and deleting them, but still they keep coming. Can anyone help please.

Thank you for your suggestion. I backup on itunes. I went to itunes, deleted syncing my contacts, then re-synced them. But the Facetime capability option continues to be there on most (not all, for some curious reason) of my contacts. I am not sure I posed my question correctly. I want to be able to FT with my family, so don't want to delete the FT capability totally from my iphone and ipad. But I don't want all these other iphone calls from various contacts to ring on my ipad as FT calls. I want a way to select with whom I have FT capabilities. Any further suggestions? Replacing a audio file and locking it to the video to allow editing

I used a gopro for an incar vid and an external "zoom H2" recorder for sound.
How do I delete the gopro sound and replace with the new audio?
I have the gopro audio muted and the new audio file in sync and behind the clip but now need to lock it to the vision .......atatch it , make as one or what ever the term is so that I can now edit the picture and audio together.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Versions of Premiere Elements later than 10 have differently named workspaces. Version 10 has Timeline workspace and Sceneline workspace.
Timeline has the numbered video and audio tracks as well as Narration track and Soundtrack, Sceneline has the Filmstrip. In versions 11, 12, and 13 the counterpart workspaces are Expert workspace and Quick workspace.
As for your video and audio sync'ing of unlinked clips....at the Timeline track level some handy maneuvers....
a. select the clip, then hold down the Alt key and hit the left or right arrow key for a 1 frame nudge.
b. select the clip, then hold down the Shift+Alt and hit the left or right arrow key for a 5 frames nudges.
These "nudges" should work in versions of Premiere Elements before and after 10.
If you are using a Mac computer, then we need to translate the nudges in Mac. I am strictly an Elements Windows user, so
all I can offer on that is Alt Windows typically means Option Mac.

First go to mail preferences>accounts>mailbox behavior and under trash click "move deleted messages to the trash mailbox, the delete them from there.
Also got to your Yahoo mail and check your settings there.

Maverick OS: file index preview, delete but file image remains in preview.

Anyone having same issue? Or have I found a bug?
In 'Folder' file view lists, which there are 4 options to view, found in 'top left corner' of folder view: '4 square' - 'Stack' - '3 Coloumn' and 'Index file preview'.
In the 'Index file preview' setting where the highlighted file appears in the preview window at the top of folder.
If I delete a sleceted file, the deleted file image remains in 'file viewer window' above! (the file is sent to trash).
This deleted file then throws ones highlighted slected file names out of sync with what image appears in the 'preview window'.
This can lead to a mis deletation if you dont keep an eye on file name and corosponding preview image above.
If I select file 'ascending or desending' in any of the file properties like 'name - date or kind' this does 'correct - reset' preview stacking images - but I'm sure this isnt how it should be?

Yes this is a hard issue to explain in words alone, but you sound like you are having the same concerns.
Have I found a solution? No, not really.
However, I think it only affects those files that were copied across in the Maverick update - this does not affect new folders generated after the Mavericks install. (?)
What I did find was, lets says I'm in one of those old folders. I delete images or files not required (as we note the preview image remains) if I then go to the 'Change item arrangement' the (six tiny squares with a down arrow icon button), next to the '4 in a line viewing option' buttons (top left of finder window). Then select say arrange as 'name' I now get a reshuffled list of true files contents (previews corrected). But this is no way a fix.
Not sure I can say the Finder is slow?
This sure is a strange one - And as we've both noted this can lead to unnecessary file deletion!
Come-on Apple :-) we can't be the only ones? I'm running 2010 Macbook pro - on 10.9 with everything else up to date.
I believe its a bug.

Extraction and delete the source

Hi everybody,
I have a requirement where I have to extract the information of a table and after extracting it is necessary to delete all records on the source table.
Can I configure the generic extractor with this behavior? or how would be the best way to "attack" this requirement?

You could do this with extraction using a function module.
The function module would first extract an then delete the content.
Or you could do this from within your process chain.
The first step would extract the data.
The second step would call a program that raises an event in the remote (=source) system.
This event would then trigger a program in the remote system to delete the content.

I recently woke up this morning to use my iPod Touch (2nd Gen) to find that it was completely unresponsive to both buttons and would not turn on. I had been using it the night before and had not charged it. Thinking the battery was drained, I plugged it into a wall outlet for two hours, and still no sign of life on the iPod. Plugging it into the computer, it immediately showed up in iTunes and synced normally, and even indicated it had nearly a full charge. Still, however, the screen showed nothing. I checked the lock and home buttons to see if it was stuck, but it was not. Does anyone have an idea of what this is? Do I need to get my iPod repaired? Any help would be appreciated.
I am running iOS 4.1, and am out of warranty coverage.

1; Do a hard rest by holding the buttons at least 15 seconds. Does the Apple logo come on?
2. Hold the power button down for at least 5 seconds. Do you see the battery symbol?
If the answer is no to both questions, you most likely have a hardware issue--possible bad battery.
