Audio gets delayed with Plugin - Help please!

I have a simple setup. Several external MIDI modules and an M-Audio Audiophile 192 PCI card in the G5. MIDI synth audio is mixed with the 192 audio externally on an analogue mixer.
All is well until I add a Linear Phase EQ plugin into the Main audio output in LP. Suddenly all the Audio is delayed slightly compared with the MIDI! If I bypass the plugin it's fine again. I thought there was a setting somewhere to compensate for this but darned if I can find it. Anyone?
I'm using LP 7.2

Go to Preferences ->Audio...->General
There you can change settings for Plug-in delay compensation.
If you want to play live, use Chanel EQ instead.
Also don't use the AdLimiter live.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Track delays before playing - Help please

DSP - 3 One of my tracks seems to delay before playing and I end up with a black screen before it begins. I went back to Final Cut and can't find any problem with it there. All my other tracks start fine. Help please.

Where are you seeing this? On a DVD player or in Simulator? What kind of menu are you using?
The delay on a disc is usually (but not always) related to where the menu is physically located (usually near the spindle hole) compared to the track (anywhere else moving outwards towards the edge of the disc), and the routing tables which DVDSP creates on your behalf when the disc is built. Not all menu/track relationships will see the same delay and you can perhaps reduce it by adding the asset for the troublesome track into another track and setting it apart with a story. Your menu can then point to the assets within the story and it should make a difference.
However, the delay you see on your player will almost certainly be different to that seen on another player - without using a spec level authoring package (or trying it in DVDSP4 where you can move menus into specific VTSs) you may well be stuck with it as it is if adding the asset to an existing track doesn't work.

Can someone please help me ? I have been getting BSOD for along time now and then i get a windows recovered from serious error when it boots back up , i always send in the error report and usually it says a driver problem but i have re-installed every driver servral times and and re-formated my pc sevral times to try and get it to run right . My Specs are Q9550 "Core 2 Quad Yorkfield SLAWQ Q9550 333 2.83 12M " / MSI P7N Platinum 750i SLI / OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler / 4GB- 4x1GB OCZ FLEX DDR2 1150 / OCZ GameXtreme 1010W / 2x - XFX GTX260 Black Edition in SLI / 1TB Seagate HD .
Also i had just tried the live update but it says there is no new updates for bios , when i first did the update i used a 3.5 floppy and flashed the bios to the ver i currently have now because there was no way for me to use the live update with XP Pro 64bit , Now im running Xp Pro 32bit w. SP2

LOL thats funny !!!!! 1.1 is what came installed on the mobo and is not compatable with the Q9550 it will never boot to bios using 1.1 with a quad core ! I did that and it is currently whirring away, had over 16000 emails as everything got imported when I set emails up (only had this computer 5 days). So will see what happens when it stops doing whatever it is doing. Sorry if I appear stupid but first Mac I have owned so everything a bit new. I was able to solve this problem now as follows:
1. delete your iCloud mail accoount from: Settings -> Mail/Contact/Calender
2. login with icloud under Settings -> iCloud
and after that push will work

How to get started with SNMP.. please help me

I am completely new in SNMP but I really really want to learn it so please help me :)
I have tried to type snmpget and snmpwalk in the prompt with some proper device �and OID information and I get some information back (do not really understand the return massages though).
But I would like to make a manager program in java that calls some network-clients and report the return messages. I would like to use snmp4j (is this a good choice?).
If somebody have some piece of simple code that sets up a manager- client snmp program, I would be so happy to see it.

Need help with PLUGINS! please

I just downloaded Nettress v2.5.2 effects for FCP 5, and followed their instructions to copy and paste the downloaded folder into: "/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins"
but the effects do not come up in FCP, i cant find them anywhere, how do i plugin these video effects into final cut pro and use them in video?
please help!

own home folder.

Settings/ Music/ Show All Music/ OFF
There is a parallel setting in Settings/ Videos/ which also includes Videos in the cloud, as well as Settings/ iTunes & App Store/ where you can set both Music and Video preferences. But you only need to change a setting in one location.
