Audio Host Missing

Hi,
the host audio is missing in our recordings, the participants audio is on but Host audio is off.
The host audio is missing in a point of recording meeting.
The problem is only in the recording, in a meeting we don't have audio problems.
Thanks

Was your meeting host on computer running Windows 8.1? We see recordings with missing audio and video (when it was present and fine during the live meeting) all the time. The meeting hosts with the missing A/V always seem to be on Windows 8.1. These recordings can typically be fixed using JAYDEEP's Recording Repair Assistant, but it's quite a hassle to fix many of these each week.
In September 2014, we also reported to Adobe Support an intermittent issue where the screenshare from a Windows 8.1 computer occasionally freezes for the remote Connect participants. If this issue is not resolved during the live meeting (by the Host exiting the meeting, rejoining, and sharing his screen again), it isn't possible to fix the recording to restore the screenshare. Adobe acknowledged this issue and told us it will be fixed in 9.3 (not), 9.4 (not), and now 9.5.
I don't know how anyone uses Adobe Connect from a Windows 8.1 computer. More importantly, I can't imagine how Adobe can afford to take almost a year to resolve an issue with such a popular client operating system.

  • Audio Filter missing:  Internal Volume Stereo - corrupt project?

    Hi,
I am getting this error when I open my project. In addition, no media will play in the project either in the sequence window or the source window.
It all appears and will scrub (with no audio), but will not play.
I dug around a bit and I found that there is a known bug with audio from XML's and that is what I am using (convinced my client to migrate from FCP to Premiere - please don't tell me I made a mistake).
Everything worked brilliantly for a week, including the addition of audio filters, and then all of a sudden - bang. No more.
I have painstakingly deleted every audio filter and I am still getting this error. I have also tried a re-install.
Another oddity is that when I try to quit Premiere, it will not quit all the way without a force quit!
I'm running CC 2014 on a brand new mac pro.
    Desperate,
    dw

    Steve and Bill,
I follow your advice, but it did not solve the problem. It is true  that  problems began when I used ZOOM recorder at 98kHz/24 bit in my current project (I already changed ZOOM mode to 48kHz/16 bit), but could this be just a coincidence?
In the meantime I checked the rest of my 16 projects (.prel), which were fine before. To my surprise I found that although all of them were made using EXACTLY the same method, some of them are still OK, but most I can not Playback. The messages appearing are of three types:
    1. "Audio Filter missing: Internal Balance".
    2. "Audio Filter missing: Internal Volume Stereo".
    3. "This type of file is not supported or required codec is not installed".
In one case, when I opened a project the first time, the message was "This type of file is not supported or required codec is not installed", but when I opened it second time it said " Audio Filter missing:Internal Volume Stereo". It seems to be random.
Some projects can be opened, but when I try to Playback  there is no sound.
I am completly lost. Please help.

  • PPro CS4 - half of audio is missing from exported files

    Hi all.
I'm currently working on a project in PPro CS4, and by that I mean that I've already completed the project. It was exported and uploaded to youtube for my boss, no problems. Then he asked me to combine the two videos, so I copied the second half of the video and pasted it onto the first half's sequence. The settings I used for the two sequences were the same. When I play the video in PPro everything works fine. When I export the video, however, the audio is missing from the second half of the video (the half I copied). The second half audio is on the same track as the first half of the audio, so the audio levels on the exported video should be exactly the same.
I've been browsing the forums and looking at troubleshooting pages but I still haven't found a solution to the problem. The video is intact; only the second half of the audio is missing. I have no idea why it's doing this or how to fix it.
    I'd appreciate any input.
    -RD

Yes, if he is exporting one file of video and audio then either the entire track is exported
or only the work area bar is exported for both video and audio. If he is exporting video and audio separately THEN they might be different lengths.
You might right-click the audio for the second section and select Audio to see if it is muted.
Try exporting the audio alone without video, listen to the audio in Windows Medica player and listen if all or only half of it exported. If all of it exported, then that narrows the problem.
You might try creating a new Sequence and pasting the video and audio into the new Sequence (don't just duplicate the sequence, that may just duplicate the problem). Then export and see if that circumvented the problem.
What format are you exporting to?

  • Audio file missing from MOV when exported as a quicktime movie.

Using Keynote 9, I imported video into presentation that was edited in iMovie 9.  When I export the presentation to quicktime movie the audio is missing from the video file.  The audio file plays fine in the standard keynote presentation mode.

This is STRICTLY a work around!  Official fix will come from Apple as an update more than likely.
Duplicate item first (File > Duplicate). On newly duplicated project change file association type (File > get info). Under name and extension section take out .key). Close Get Info and save with removing .key.  Double click to open the file (now a compression).  Open uncompressed folder (same name as original file, now shows as a folder).  Now in the Data folder find a .mov file named "Recording" with randomly generated letters and numbers behind it.  Drag .mov file to desktop or any other directory. Open extracted .mov file with QuickTime to verify integrity. Save as audio file only.  Get Info on file again and place .key value at end of file/extension for project. Open project. Under Play menu option delete the recording.   Under Audio inspector drag the .mov of audio only to recording back in. Test play project to see if its accurate.  Export to QuickTime and see if issue is resolved.
    If issue persists:
Export with corrupted audio as QuickTime.  Separate the audio from video track.  Delete audio.  Import the extracted .mov audio file.  Share > File. Enjoy.

If OracleAS 10.1.3 has been integrated with OracleAS 10.1.2 the OPMN / ONS will invoke a ping request via the 10.1.2 HTTP Server to check on the availability of the 10.1.3 OC4J instances. The ping request will only succeed if the default-web-site protocol is set to ajp.
The error - MOD_OC4J_0191 - occurs because the OracleAS 10.1.3 default instance - typically labelled Home - has default-web-site protocol set to HTTP. The Home OC4J instance by default has this protocol set to be HTTP as it is this instance which typically hosts the OracleAS 10.1.3 ascontrol application. The error is harmless and can be ignored.
    Also,
    Try this:
Edit your $OH/opmn/conf/opmn.xml (Just change the protocol from http to ajp
    from
    <port id="default-web-site" range="7777" protocol="http"/>
    To

Run the update config for command for opmn.xml if you're not using the asconsole.
You can find your version number defined in the $OH/config/ias.properties set in the Version variable.
Always take a backup before making changes. You won't regret it.

Before I did this change of the orcladmin 's password.
When I run the opmnctl status, I get the following:
    C:\OraHome_3\opmn\bin>opmnctl status

After the change of the password for the id:orcladmin and after rebooting the computer, I get the following:

Basically HOME AND OC4J_BI_FORMS ARE NOW BOTH ALIVE AND BEFORE THEY WERE NOT ALIVE.
I also did comparison of the original and new ias.properties and the opmn.xml file and it shows no change.
This means that since HOME and OC4J_BI_FORMS ARE NOW BOTH ALIVE AND because of that I cannot get into the login page.

"I support Oracle Application Server. I'm not exactly sure where your problem is but you might want to check if there's a ajp port conflict. You can find your ajp port setting at $OH/opmn/config/opmn.xml. Search for ajp. Then check if your box is using that port or just try another port number and restart your app srv.

    MOD_OC4J_0191
    Also,
    Try this:
Edit your $OH/opmn/conf/opmn.xml (Just change the protocol from http to ajp
    from
    <port id="default-web-site" range="7777" protocol="http"/>
    To
    <port id="default-web-site" range="12601-12700" protocol="ajp"/>
Run the update config for command for opmn.xml if you're not using the asconsole.
You can find your version number defined in the $OH/config/ias.properties set in the Version variable.
Always take a backup before making changes. You won't regret it.
    Good luck."
In the reply " Then check if your box is using that port or just try another port number and restart your app srv."
How can I check what port number is my box using?

How do I ping a request via the 10.1.2 HTTP server to check on the avilability of the 10.1.3 OC4J instances?

Download/install an app is a know possible solution.
    3. Install another app from the App Store
If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information.
Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.

  • Audio Filter missing . . .

I have experienced a number of crashes (iMac OS 10.75) in my Premiere Pro project + the warning "Audio Filter missing: Internal Volume Mono"  How do I resolve this?  It seems to be a 'project' problem.
    Thanks for your help.

I wish I could supply some help; I am having the same problem (newest version of Premiere Pro CC, just reinstalled in hopes of solving this problem, on a Macbook Pro i7 running 10.8.4 with 16GB RAM. It is rendering my project unusable. Help anyone?

  • Audio Filter missing:  Internal Volume Mono

All of a sudden this error message started popping up
Audio Filter missing:  4:1635083896 1278365011 1802721110  Audio Filter missing:  Internal Volume Mono
Also now my timeline is not working, some tracks are missing volume envelopes and when I scroll up and down it's all messed up and I can't do anything.
    What's happening?
I tried re-installing the latest update CC 2014.1 but no go...
    Help!!

OH man, Im also having loads of other audio issues with this update. Clicks, pops, audio often mutes on it's own. No audio comes through and there's screeching huge noise...ng
Really disappointed with this! Im paying good money for the CC and today alone Ive spent 4 hours trying to figure out these massive issues.
Im using multiband compressor and EQ and the instant I add those to the timeline the troubles begin.

  • Audio Filter missing:Internal volume stereo

I am unable to back play a Pre project I am working on in the moment. When I open it, there is a message as in the subject of this post (Audio Filter missing: Internal volume stereo). Can someone help please.
    Andrew

  • A portion of the audio is missing on the end of clips?

Using Adobe Premiere Elements 7 a portion of the audio is missing on the end of clips after I bring it in. The files are motion JPEG AVI .

    Welcome to the forum.
I do not recall seeing any issue with muxed MJPEG files, regarding truncated Audio. First, take a look at this ARTICLE on MJPEG files.
Next, all Audio files (muxed or elemental streams) must be Conformed, which converts them to 32 bit, floating point files for editing. If one does not allow the Conforming to complete 100%, the Audio can be truncated. See this ARTICLE.
    Good luck,

  • I'm trying to watch an audio enhanced presentation using Adobe. I'm able to view the slideshow however, the audio is missing. Any suggestions?

I just purchased my firt MacBook and am having some trouble running Adobe. I'm trying to view an enhanced video presentation using Adobe Flash Player. I can see the slideshow, but the audio is missing. I've downloaded a recent flash player and reader but I get nothing. Any ideas?

If your computer is running Snow Leopard, and is not at 10.6.8, you could use
Software Update to get final Combo Update 10.6.8 v. 1.1 for Snow Leopard.
Aside from that (you may have already done so) here is a free-running
application that may help your line-in audio, by the name of LineIn
    http://www.rogueamoeba.com/freebies/ and it suggests possibilities.
There also are USB input methods using those for audio; not sure what
is still available, a few great ones no longer were. One from Belkin a few
years ago, called the iMic, offered great options over USB.
Hopefully the free application can help.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • IMovie: Some parts of audio is missing when export?

When I play it inside iMovie, it works.
But then when it is export, either to iTunes, YouTube or MP4 format,
some parts of the audio is missing.
    What should I do?

Looks like the 8.0.4 update to IPhoto may have broken its "share to iDVD" and Export functionality. There are a few Apple.com discussions on this topic.
I found that if I chose "Play each slide for a minimum of x seconds" and altered the duration of showing some slides, the audio would be missing when I exported the slideshow to iDVD.
However, using exactly the same music track from iTunes, if I chose the option to "Fit slideshow to music" then the audio worked perfectly when I exported to iDVD.
Dear Apple, can this please be fixed?

  • Print to Video  - Audio is missing

    Hi guys,
I'm attempting to print/Copy to tape a standard mini dv project iv'e completed.
When checking what i recorded on the the tape through my camera, the audio is missing.
I have tested a separate project and printed to tape and the audio works fine.
This tells me something is prob set wrong on the project.
Any ideas what it could be? Anything i need to check?
    Thanks,

  • AVI  files audio is missing in iPhoto library

Suddenly all my audio is missing from my avi files in my iPhoto library.
The only thing that has changed is I recently updated to the latest version of iMovie, which now
shows thumbnails of iPhoto video. It took about 30 minutes to generate the
thumbnails and since then the audio is gone. Anyone know what could have happened and what I can
do to restore the audio to my avi files? Thanks

What version of Quicktime are you running? If you haven't update to QuickTime 7.5 updater and then try the movies again.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Beats audio software missing after I installed windows 8.1

Beats audio software missing after I installed windows 8.1
    my laptop: HP pavilion p011sv

    Hi @Boukou ,
    Thank you for your  inquiry.
I understand that after updating to Windows 8.1 you no longer have the Beats Audio software.
You should be able to download an updated audio driver from HP Pavilion 15-p011sv Software & Drivers page .
This should reinstall your Beats software.
    Good Luck!
