Audio icons PSE9 how to remove

I have just upgraded from PSE 5 to PSE 9 and cannot find a file count on the Browser as in PSE 5. How can I remove audio icon from photos, I don't know how they got there to begin with.

I'm not sure what it looked like in PSE 5 but in PSE 9 there is a count in the border at the bottom left of the window. This usually shows how many images there are displayed or selected. This varies depending on which view you are using.
If you are referring to the audio icon in the top right corner of the thumbnail then that means the image has an audio caption. Audio captions can be added by some cameras or can be added using PSE.
If you click on the icon, an edit window should open. You can play the audio caption by clicking on the play button. It may give you some idea of what the source of the audio was.
To remove the audio caption, click on the icon to open the small edit window and select Clear from the Edit menu (of the smaller window not the main organizer window). I don't think you can do a mass delete of the audio captions.

Have you tried exporting this to Soundtrack Pro? These are a huge variety of audio tools in there that might work. I use it frequently with great success.

How to remove folder and leaf icons from a tree

I know how to remove when we have a mx component i.e.,
<mx:Tree folderOpenIcon={null} ...../> similarly for
closed and default leaf icon.
But how do i achieve this from an action script like say i
have,

tree.setFolderOpenIcon(null); ///is there something like this
or any other alternative.

the folderOpenIcon is a style so you have to set it with the
setStyle method
try:
tree.setStyle("folderOpenIcon",null);

Go back to the editor and close the photo there.

Hi,
No need to customize the ibeCCtdMenu.jsp to remove the icons, It is enough to change the Profile option "FND Branding size" to the value "Medium" or "Small".
After changing the profile option value, bounce apache. The links will be dispalying now without icons. Try out this!!

If someone knows, a little help would be appreciated:
When staring Logic Pro X, each time Audio Units are automatically being scanned. All the time I get a window with the message "Incompatible Audio Units found":
"While verifying Audio Unit compatibility, Logic Pro X encountered 1 Audio Unit plug-in(s) which did not pass the Apple AU validation. These plug-ins have been excluded from further usage in Logic Pro X to prevent possible problems or crashes. You can start the AU Manager now to review the validation results or continue the startup process."
When opening the Audio Units manager, I see that "AUSpeechSynthesis (Automap)applttsp" (Manufacturer: Apple, type: generator) couldn't be opened. I don't know how to remove or bypass this plug-in, as the option "disable failed audio units" doesn't seem to work. Now each time I start Logic Pro X, the same message keeps appearing. I also can't find that file on my Mac, a searched for it and also the Finder can't find it.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks a lot in advance!

I have the same problem but I can´t figure out how to unwrap AUSpeechSynthesis. I can´t even find it in the filesystem with spotlight..... ;o(
And yes I have turned on the 64bit plugin friendly option in Automap's Preferences.

You can check Icon in Thing Type like COD_Account__TT screen.
Once you are in TT screen just go to "Controller" and select "Thing Type Data" from left side pan.
But how to remove it I don't have any idea.

What I usually do is check the element in the browser's developer tools - for e.g. Chrome's "Inspect Element". This way I can identify the id of the element in the ADF Faces source file (.jsff).
In the folderViewer case the element id was "cilhelp" and the tag in the .jsff is below

How to remove titlebar icon in ScriptUI dialog?

When I create a dialog with ScriptUI, its titlebar gets an ugly icon. How can I remove this?
Using a palette instead of a dialog removes the icon, but I want a dialog in this case.

I think the dialog wind may look different between Platforms OS versions Adobe applications and versions. What dies the window with the Icon you don't like look like post a screen capture,
For example I use windows 7 these days. On Windows 7 system with CS2 My dialogs have a title but no icon. There the is an icon when I use CS6, CC and CC 2014. The icon is the same in the three version of Photoshop.. Is this the ugly icon your referring to?

Assuming it's a report... you can do the following:
- Create an new "PF-Status" for your report
Use "Extras -> Adjust Template" from the menu
and select "Selection-Screen" from that...
- Exclude all the buttons and functions you don't like
having there
- In your report so something like that:
PBO
AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
SET PF-STATUS '1000'.
where '1000' in this example is your new pf-status.
I've done that very often if you'd like to start execution by pressing ENTER.
If you'd like to do somthing like that your coding has to be in "AT Selection-Screen" because there is no "START-OF-SELECTION" when you do not use he "execute" function, wich has the sy-ucomm ONLI.
